Tyler gave an approving nod. "Sounds like a good trade to me," he answered before registering the part about Kiran having a reaction to magic. "Does he now? He should've spoken up earlier...I've got a device that blocks them. Of course, it works both ways, so he couldn't use any himself..."

Violet craned her neck to look at the page. "Hmm...start medium and work from there. You can always draw it darker if it doesn't look right..."

"She's popular today," Sosol commented of Honey, rinsing out two mugs.

Mal purred, wrapping his wings about the huldra kindly, so cozy. "It's a nice change of habit...like everything about this place."

Remy nodded, grinning, fetching his own water in the meantime.

Tamriel was beginning to feel sleepy. She hadn't slept in days- it hurt too much to sleep. Feeling safe, she whimpered and started to cry and apologize.

As she listened, Honey walked to the wall and began to trace the shape of falcon on the wall. "Lo'ely, I-. No. Ya' canno'-. Wha' do-" She exhaled a long breath and snapped, stamping her foot- hand slapping into the center of where the bird would be, " SHU' IT!" Before dropping her tone and facing into the corner, "'E canno' co'e cryin' ta me e'er ti'e Spar'ow 'as a tan'rum. 'E wan'ed t'is. 'E's got'a gro' up." And then sat on the floor, a hand on her forhead, "Ah! Lo'ely don' cry! I did no' me'n ta shou'. I'm- no! No! I did- No! Don' put Guil' on! Lo'.... 'Ello, Guil'." Honey rolled to her stomach and put her head on the floor.

"You would have to ask him if it something he wants. We... are still testing our friendship." Kyou watched the pink haired creature with interest. "..What does koi have to do with being lonely?"

Kiran hummed and did- the work seeming to leap from the page as it developed. Kiran honked a laugh.

The incubus patted her shoulder and back gently, letting her sob, be sorry, murmuring sweet nothings here and there to reassure. She too had hardships.

Remy looked back to Honey, mildly worried.

"You know him better than I do," Tyler smirked, making a good point. He hadn't really gotten acquainted with any new face, and particularly not him. Violet, on the other hand, seemed to be hitting it off well. "As for Honey, she's upset with someone on the phone...someone else, I'm guessing a child, is throwing a tantrum."

Violet smiled...he was laughing. The drawing looked even better. "You learn really fast..."

Remy would find a bowl in midair, full of water. "This one work?"

"Perfect, thank you." he smiled, taking the bowl. "You want in?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Yea', Guil'. Yea. Yea. YES, I un'ers'and! Lord Abo'e I don- ," she twirled a finger on the floor. "Ya' ke'p ta'kin' o'er me! A cour'e I gon' ge' ma'! I- no. No. Yea' I jus'. NO. Don' go t'ere, Guil'. Ple'se." Face in the floor Honey sniffed, sitting up and facing away from the people, "I don'- I canno'. Guil- Guil'. GILES GUILT. Yea! Wha'cha' gon' do?! Ya' kno' wha' ma'e why don'- FOK 'OU." She snapped the phone shut and set it down very calmly on the floor. Standing up she forced a smile that could kill, her small frame shaking as she walked to the door, "Be ba'k in a ti'k, Lo'e." And outside she went, her cigarette lit and pulled before outside. The phone began to sing the theme to the muppets.

Tamriel would cry herself right to sleep.

A small touch of color danced across the top of his nose, "I h-hav-ve the g-g-good l-luck of h-hav-ving a g-good t-t-teach-cher." His gaze followed the girl outside, having broken away from his shading to a quick sketch of Honey kneeling on the floor.

Kyou nodded- watching the creature leave. That was fast. "He is a very nervous man. Very upset about the passing of his wife. I should not speak further on it- I believe he has not been sleeping- which may cause a poor reaction. Do you have a wife? Many of the people here seem to be paired off. It is very interesting as the interactions are so varied."

Remy pouted, glancing back to the phone in Honey's storm and its cheery warbling. "Damn thing's possessed." he tried.

Malachai, once she was asleep, tucked Tam into bed and pecked her forehead before trotting down the stairs. "She's sleepin'!"

"No one seems to need me right now," Sosol answered, filling his own bowl to join the group. "It's been a long time since I painted."

Violet glanced over to the table, smiling. Everyone was feeling so artistic today...! Well, not Tyler...then again, maybe technology was his art.

"A widower...he'd be in good company. One of the innkeepers was a widower before getting married," Tyler said casually before almost choking on his now-cold tea. After a few coughs, he finally answered the latter question. "No, no...I'm not married. I'm not even sure I have a girlfriend, as it stands..."

Kyou laughed at his reaction, a soft warm sound, " Pardon my curiosity. I simply find it amusing... heartwarming I suppose. I used to be fascinated by it, it's a strange thing. I do not think it's meant to be understood." Kyou watched the phone as it danced about as it sang. What a funny thing! Then to Malachai, "You put her to sleep? Is that a way of comforting someone? That sounds odd."

Kiran looked towards Kyou, then went back to drawing, "Y-you h-hav-ve a l-l-lov-vel-ly sm-smil-le." The comment was almost as if an after thought- it was the sound of her smile he had truly liked. Nothing like Elenor's but still lovely. He was fully engrossed in his work now.

Remy provided a brush and a piece of paper, grinning. "Best thing about cheap watercolors; everyone does just as well as everyone else."

"No, no. She cried on my shoulder until she slept. See?" he said, pointing to his damp shoulder. "She feels better."

Tyler glanced to the laptop screen, noticing the code had compiled. Good. He could work on the next bit.

Violet paused, breaking out into a furious blush. She hadn't heard that since Jeff, and it still had that effect on her. "Th-thanks, Kiran..." She said, watching him at work. It was easy to see why others liked watching her...something coming to life.

"True," Sosol nodded, humming in thought...what to paint, though? Maybe he'd just start, wind up with something abstract.

Kyou marveled a moment, "Crying makes even demons feel better. What interesting things I am learning today. It is nice to see so much activity about even if it is so mixed. Friend Malachai, you seem much happier without your seal. Excuse me. I hunger." With that, Kyou walked into the kitchen to begin a one person feast.

The phone began to sing about love me do. This time it was relentless.

Kiran's ears wiggled at her words. He wrote 'You are quite welcome, Miss' and illustrated her smiling face below before returning to his previous shading.

"Doesn't it make humans feel better too..?" he frowned, scratching the back of his head before hopping over to the phone, picking it up, sniffing it, and answering. "Hello!"

Remy was starting with a friendly orange.

A powder puff of sound cooed on the line, "Hello? Oh my have I called the wrong number? I- I'm looking for Honey Peregrine?" A clamor in the background- the sound of adults shushing an angry child to no avail.

Kyou was delighted to find two gallons of milk rather than the usual one. Now there would be no guilt! Taking a container of turkey and the gallon on milk, Kyou closed the fridge, sitting on the floor and began to eat.
