Malachai blinked, letting her take over and watching her work. "Wow...what's that gooey stuff? An herb paste? And those smelly wet papers?"

He... was mildly confused by the tone in the nuns voice. Had she... had she officially forgiven him for his disruption of the peace? For the inconvenience of having to be tended to. He closed his eyes when she came into focus. Kiran seethed at Marylin's helping hands. This woman would have a reaction to his sclera being the same as his eye color- he really did not want to be hit again. Or worse cast on. He wheezed, not from asthma but from the pain in his side. His ears touched the top of his shoulders, the tufts full bristled- he could not keep from flinching. He pleaded softly, anxious, "G-g-g-gl-gl-gl-."

Honey buried her face against his chest and bawled. She felt guilty for crying like this, relieved that she wasn't being cast out. It was hard to be happy anywhere. After a little while she settled, wiping her eyes and smearing the smidged makeup. Still unable to look up, she pressed her toe to the floor, she wanted to say sorry- wanted to explain... all she could do was think about how what she'd done just proved a point made.

Kyou looked to a lining of jars holding various elements, "The ones in these jars are the least sensitive to light. They handle change or handling well, though please do not tap on the glass or reach inside. They will bite."

"Erm, basically," Marilyn answered with a nod, not wanting to have to explain ointment to him at the moment. Herbal paste would be sufficient. "The wet papers have a liquid on them to help clean the wound and keep it from getting worse." She gave it a light coat of ointment, though it didn't seem too much skin was broken, and one bandage. There would be a pretty good bruise, but that would have to recover on its own.

"Gl...? Oh!" She looked to and fro, smiling as she found them. She double-checked to see if they were broken before handing them to him. She didn't need him cutting himself on broken glass or stumbling because he couldn't see.

Sosol lightly rubbed at her shoulder. He didn't mind the tears, or the smeared makeup. "That's the thing about a place like this...get enough people in one place, and there will be friction. Sometimes, tempers flare. I wouldn't condone what you did, clearly, but I don't condemn you for it, either."

Tyler nodded, his vision adjusted to looking through the visor. "This'll look boring, I'm sure; I just look at it and press some buttons and knobs." He tried to catch the full spectrum...a normal analysis, one in infrared, one in ultraviolet, another using their spirit wavelength technology. There had to be something to these mushi he could isolate.

Violet blinked, looking down at the picture. It was beautiful and otherworldly...but what was she looking at? When was it, even? Was she drawing the future again? Or the past? Or now?

"You know...maybe I should just stick to drawing them," she said at last, getting a mild headache from all the questions. "Someone else can translate..."

Kyou would wait and watch quietly. It wasn't boring, certainly interesting and new questions stemming but it was best to be silent with such focus.

"I canno' s'and by an le' im tal' li'e tha' 'bout me. 'E don' kno' noth'in 'bout me. I canno' jus' le' 'im run 'is mout'." She crossed her arms, thinking on Sparrow, the conversation at the park with Ignus. She shook her head, "I res'ect 'im fo' 'is wor' bu' 'e canno' tal' shi'e abou' me w'en 'e's go' 'iw own ske'etens. I'm no'... I'm no' a vio'ent pers'n bu' 'e canno' jus' ta'e." She heaved a heavy sigh, shaking her head. She was still too worked up, she'd only talk in circles.

Malachai waved his tail curiously, sniffing at the ointment, getting a little on his finger and licking it. He'd never encountered any herbs that tasted like that! "Gosh...I'm not sure what I just ate."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 31, 2012 4:20 pm
"Wha--don't eat that!" Marilyn snapped, cleaning up the medical kit. "Okay, so it's not herbal paste...but it's close enough in use that I figured it would be the quickest way to explain it to you."

"I understand that, Honey," he said, his aura projecting calm. "I know you're not violent...there are better ways to defend your honor than this, though." Sosol pulled off his shades for a moment, cleaning off a few specks of dust.

"Hmm..." Tyler continued to switch between settings, eyes narrowed as he concentrated on the jars and their contents. "I'm not catching anything yet...though perhaps layering them over will find something..."

Violet set the drawing aside, heading downstairs to join everyone else. She wanted to head out before she got the urge again. She wasn't even carrying a pencil anymore.

"Ohhhh...you know what? I Bet this is like what Felix does, like, with...um..." he frowned, brow furrowed in the effort to pronounce the picture of the word in his mind. "Fff...farm-a sue- decals. Those things. I don't get that stuff at all. Herbal paste works, yeah."

He put his glasses on, keeping his head bowed and looking through them. They were broken, a large fracture through the delicate lenses. The sclera would not take on the white hues, he took his glasses off and put them in his pocket- he would have to be blind until he could send for another pair. He shouldn't have been wearing his spares for so long. "Th-th-th-than----nk y-y-y-y-you b-b-b-b...b-b-b-bot-th," he whimpered. Resting bare hand on the chair by him, Kiran very slowly stood up, groaning as a man well past his years as he did. Bruised ribs, bruised face- oh Melpomene would be furious. He looked towards a wall- were the stairs this way? He sighed, tapping the floor with a wary foot, ears twitching- no.. they were this way. He frowned, this would be a pain.

Honey had begun to key stairway to heaven on her crossed arms, the notes had begun run in her mind long before then. Despite his calmness, she shook her head. How could he understand? He had... more than she could dare to want. She bristled, pressing the notes in a bit, "I don' 'ave m'ny op'ions, S'sol. I'm jus' sup'osed ta ta'e it? I'm no' tha' kin'a gi'l.I'm no' tha' bi' a perso'. T'ere's no' mu'h tha' I ge' ri'ed up abou' bu' wha' am I sup'osed ta do? I go' enou'h s'ander in my worl' wi'hout so'e toff pas'ing ju'gemen' on me w'en 'e en't go' a c'ue." She uncrossed her arms, now playing the notes openly, "'Ou te'l me. 'Ow am I su'posed ta 'andle tha'?"

Kyou slowly sifted salt into one of the jars, the mushi within beginning to shuffle about with enthusiasm. The creatures began to pull the grains into the water below- easily followed if you could see the salt, more so the little shimmering forms of the mushi. The field of the rings shimmered, Kyou's green eye falling to the simbyote within as it barreled against the barrier. It was more active today- Kyou's suddenly felt very itchy. Time to scratch!

Tamriel watched the girl with the hat go downstairs, Sosol go talk to the pink haired girl. It was certainly busy. Just sitting her and watching through the crack in her door, she felt almost overwhelmed. She wondered how to achieve whelmed. Maybe it would come with time... she wanted to go check on Dovah. But she didn't want to upset anyone. What do normal people do anyways? She hugged her tail- the only part that didn't hurt... so very happy Reisa hadn't ruined it.

Malachai hopped up, scuttling over to Kiran and scooping him up, scampering up the stairs. "Hurt people shouldn't walk!" he insisted, nodding to Violet as he passed on his mission toward Kiran's room.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 01, 2012 4:25 pm
Kiran gave a small shout, wincing. This was... new, but he didn't have much choice did he? Once to his room- the door wasn't even closed. It was a bigger paper mess than before and the bed clearly untouched. The amount of papers on the wall had doubled, more and more notes, the desk was pile high and scattered with them, there was even a bottle of ink on the floor (though luckily still shut). On the crisp bed sat Elephant, propped as if it'd been simply resting. Kiran hadn't the heart to move it from where the charm had worn off.

Malachai laid Kiran on the bed with a small huff. "Really now! Blind and wounded and you dont' even ask for help up the stairs? Kiran, you are being stubborn about things you don't hafta be stubborn about. Quit it."
PostPosted: Thu Nov 01, 2012 6:00 pm
He sat stone still on his bed, head bowed. Very slowly he opened his eyes and looked around- it was pointless, even with him being right there Malachai was a blur. Without his glasses and with a bruised face his lack of sleep certainly looked apparent. He shook his head and put his head in his bare hands, wonderful- he wheezed. The after effects of being punching seeming to truly dawn, he began to shake and tears well down his face, "F-f-f-f-for-rg-g-gi-iv-v-ve m-me.. I d-d-d-did n-not m-mean t-t-t-t-to. I-I-I-I -am sor-r-r-ry."

"I'm not mad, just, um...not very, I guess." he nodded, patting his blonde friend on the head. "Don't do mean things to Honey, okay?"

"I would have, if I were her. You were being rude and thoughtless to her for no good reason." scolded the demon.
