[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

She yipped, tail curling into the shape of a heart- certainly an easy task considering the length of it. Her ears back as she crunched the pickle as only an animal could.  

[Gren_Eckener]

Satisfied, Mal plopped onto the floor and merrily began devouring his own. His manners weren't perfect, but they'd somewhat improved.  

[Astra_Senpai]

She watched him, pulling the crust off the bread and setting it aside. She wondered how long she could ignore it all. Just enjoy this. It was silly. It was nice. She actually felt safe here. Ears flicked back, that feeling of wanting to cry coming back. Sandwich done, she sniffed about the floor- following the smell to something behind the fridge. She yipped at it.  

[Valkyrie Steel]

There was a child standing in the middle of her view - a small frilly white dress and little pink shoes. Her blonde curly hair fell past her elbows and stopped just at the bow in the back of the dress. Valkyrie reached out to the girl, though she just stood there. Fog began to roll in, and the girl refused to make eye contact with Valkyrie, who tried standing but was only denied by the chains holding her down. As Valkyrie looked back up, the girl's dress was soaked in cherry, her curls damp and sticking together.
Valkyrie's eyes shot open and she gasped, sitting in a cold sweat against a wall in a small room. She sprang to her feet and withdrew her dagger, her eyes darting around her surroundings. Soon she realized she was in the inn.
The dream had hit her like a train, and the past week or so was like a black abyss in her mind. Whatever had occurred then was lost... for now.
Valkyrie was then rewarded for her quick stance with a panging in her head that came on so rapidly it almost brought her to her knees. She closed her eyes tightly and sighed, touching a palm to the side of her head.
She regained her composure and started towards the door. The pain began to wane as she turned the knob and walked towards the lobby of the inn, hoping she'd recognize someone - anyone at all. Nearing the main room, she realized she still carried her dagger in her left hand, which she tucked back into her boot.

 

[Gren_Eckener]

There was, wiping tables, a tall and slender person with long midnight hair, tied back between their shoulders, apparently unconcerned. They turned, face beautiful, pale, and ambiguous with a crooked smile and tired blue eyes.

"Hello." said the man, his voice a warm tenor. "Welcome to the Inn of Peace, miss."  

[Astra_Senpai]

A white muzzle peeked out from beneath a far couch. Yawning softly and curling her tail around tight, the fox was content to stay.

Honey plodded down the stairs in her usual cheery manner. Red and black boxers, over-sized shirt, unbrushed brushy hair and enjoying the first smoke of the day- she was a sight to behold. The pink haired mistral wandered right to the kitchen after giving a wave to Gren and a wink to the rustic looking bird. She started singing 'Waking up in Vegas' as she started to cook.  

[Valkyrie Steel]

Valkyrie looked up at the man and her green eyes met his. "Thank you kindly. Could you tell me what time it is? And the date..."
She scratched her head lightly, her gaze flitting to the ground, and inhaled, knowing how strange her request must have sounded to him. "I know it is an odd question," she admitted, the left side of her mouth curling into a light-hearted smirk as she looked back up at him.

 

[Azana Brown]

Tyler yawned, stretching as he came downstairs. It had been a very long evening of staring at mushi...or at least what he could assume to be them. He hadn't actually seen the beings, just their effects, like tiny poltergeists. He cleaned his glasses on his shirt, taking in the look of the main room. Gren was already there, as well as a new girl asking what she considered to be an odd question. Oh, if she only knew...

"It's morning, early November," he said vaguely, wondering how specific she was hoping for. Speaking of early November, he hadn't seen much of Azana lately...she rarely pulled overtime during Halloween mayhem.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Honey giggled, extinguishing her smoke, washing her hands and mixing batter for pancakes. " But just maybe, Hala ka ukulele, Mama made a baby, I really don't mind to practice, 'Cause you're my little lady, Lady, lady love me."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"What he said. Mornin', Tyler." nodded Gren to Tyler, not at all concerned about the question of the date. By the looks of her, the woman had been busy, and time was not her first priority. "It's not a strange question; if you've been busy, you can lose track of those things. Can I get you anything?"  

[Valkyrie Steel]

"Thank you," she said to both the one named Tyler and the other with the hypnotizingly beautiful blue eyes. "Water sounds good right now, please."
Valkyrie had decided that grogginess from liquor would not add up well with loss of memory, though she desired some liquor anyways. In the midst of her train of thought she stopped and stared blankly at the bar across the room.
"Has anyone seen a small person that changes their form? I'm not sure why I remember that..."

 

[Gren_Eckener]

"We've had...a few, really. If you can be more specific, that'd help." he smiled kindly, setting down his cloth and fetching her a glass of ice water. "Here you go...anything else?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

"And we have some shepherd's pie peppered, With actual shepherd on top! And I've just begun--," was the delighted chirp as she flipped her first pancake with success.

Slipping out from beneath the couch and moved to near the fireplace. From here a large chair obstructed the view, which meant no fussing over the small white fox. She stepped up onto it and wrapped her tail around herself- being careful to keep her ears flat.  

[Azana Brown]

"Good to see you," Tyler gave in reply, leaving the Innkeeper to deal with the newcomer. He just wanted something before what would likely be another long day. He still had to test and calibrate his teleporter, and that mushi data begged to be crunched.  

[Astra_Senpai]

"GAH," she cried as the second pancake landed on her head. "Bleh." Honey poured another one and hummed, not caring of the half cooked one on her head, she'd shower later.
