[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

It was just before dawn when Tyler walked in, his favorite bag heavy with salvaged parts and gadgets. The shift in daylight always threw him off a little, particularly when compounded with three months of accidental time travel. He hadn't considered trying to isolate or replicate it, though the thought was tempting. The implications, however, were devastating.

He looked around the empty main room, remembering how it looked just yesterday not much later than this. It had been one hell of a morning, even if the rest of the day went without incident. He hadn't seen Kyou since she retired to rest, and to his knowledge, that mushi from the staff was still loose somewhere. He had a lot of work to do, and he'd start it here. The bag now rested on a table, and he climbed upstairs to retrieve the rest.

Azana rolled over in bed, letting out a light sigh. She had been having trouble sleeping lately, especially this night. Honey and Senpai were on her mind...but so was Remy. He had made a big point about waiting until after Halloween to make his announcement, and with each passing day, she was fearing the worst.

Honey opened her eyes a moment, looking around blearily. Sitting up, rubbing her eyes she took a deep breath in and promptly fell back onto the bed. Her whole body hurt, felt like it had been when she'd been cut up, when she'd been taken. A freckled arm passed over her face, phone rang a song of Shiva- she reached for it and answered, "Ello, To'por, wha's on 'our 'eart?"

The white fox looked up at the clamor of noise from Tyler. She yawned and stretched, choosing to lay comfortably on the chair by the fire.

Remy, however, was descending the stairs with a haggard expression and his portfolio.  

[Astra_Senpai]

She gave a tiny yip, lifting her head and waving her tail.  

[Gren_Eckener]

Remy smiled to the foxlet with a tired grin. "Hey, you...In a good mood today?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

She flicked her ears back, dainty paws on the back of the chair and then forward. She pranced to him, looking at the portfolio and tilting her head to the side.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"This?" he said, looking to his portfolio. "It's full of things that aren't any fun...but I could whip up something nice for you too."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her ears flicked back, annoyed. Leaping onto a stool and curling her tail around her form, blue eyes half open as if to say 'don't patronize me'. Sitting up tall, ears up, she gave a small polite whine, 'please'.  

[Gren_Eckener]

He sighed, opening it up and handing over a picture of the dessicated wasteland that was one the Inn.  

[Astra_Senpai]

An elegant hand accepted the piece, it only took a breath to be herself again. Her powder blue dress was loose but did not hang- it hid her burns nicely. She looked it over for a long moment, tone gentle, "It's an interesting piece... a bit dreary." Her tail ruffled here and there, curious, "I'm a bit naive being new, the sour look on your face makes me wonder if my nose belongs in this at all?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"You will be infinitely happier not knowing what this is about." reassured Remy, nodding. "Very, very much."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"Which only intrigues me more, but I will not pry." She smiled, pristine fangs glimmering, "I'm at the bottom of my barrel, Remy, there is not much else in this world or otherwise which can dim my spirits any further." Her tail curled up and across her lap, her tone was pure honey, "Are there more I may see? Or should I go warm some blood for you and mind my business?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"You can stay, if you like...I hate to leave people out when they're curious. I just feel bad making pretty faces frown." he said gently, pulling out another, a sketch of a broken steampunk spider-legged chair.  

[Astra_Senpai]

A small touch of color danced across the top of her nose, it was flattering. Her ears flicked back slightly, she wasn't pretty anymore... why did they keep insisting? She looked over the image, puckering her lips in thought, left ear leaning slightly, "How.. impractical. Remy, you have lovely line work."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"It's impractical, but she insisted...it keeps him busy, and gives him something to yell at." he smiled sadly. "He needs something to yell at." He pointed to another picture, a harassed looking man with long hair tied back, hands covered in oil, overalls smudged with dirt, looking back out at them, eyes sharp as needles.
