Sol had poured himself something strong, wishing he could supply one for his underage oracle sister. She seemed to be handling it pretty well, but then again...she knew about this for a while. Perhaps she had already been through the whole process. Either way, he still had some processing to do.
Kristen had a beverage, non-alcoholic, and observed the fox with a light giggle. "I did not mean to startle you," she said, watching it sit still and tilt its head. "Should I leave you alone...?"
"I understand..." Orrin said, slightly worried gaze to the pictures. Of course he wasn't in them, but the depictions of Charlotte saddened him. Needing to be carried...the spider chair attempt was a nice touch, though. Very Charlotte. "The Order would very much want to prevent this...and I would agree with them, for my own reasons."
Azana took a long sip of the cocktail, not even looking at the remote anymore so much as through it. There was, obviously, a lot on her mind, and part of her wanted to leave for a while to get through it.

Azana felt eyes on her and glanced over to Gren. She didn't need any abilities to figure out that question...but what kind of answer could she give? Remy had dropped a nuclear warhead on them, and they were still figuring out what the hell to do about it. But even beyond that, there was a disbelief and a confusion in her eyes. There was only one person who could even potentially have the answer to her question, but did she really want to know?
There's no way I would abandon them...right...? So why...? She shook her head, opting to reply with her mantra.
Nothing I can't handle, Gren.
"And I am certain I miss you, even if no one is able to confirm it," Orrin held her, looking at the picture and deciding it would not be so. A bundle of chaotic energy like Charlotte should be walking...more than that! Dancing, twirling, singing...
Kristen smiled. "I do not believe I have met you, no. I am Kristen..."
Tyler woke with a start, not enough time for a cold sweat to build but still panting from a few of the less positive mental images that came from the InfoLink. The Link...the panting returned to laughter. "That sly son of a b***h...!" He said merrily, not entirely sure why yet but knowing, somewhere, somehow, that the remote did something marvelous in the here and now. That he had planted it with Kristen to keep it in the present age. He had an all-new respect and affection for Enta, and he was certain he'd know why at some point soon.

New Year's, maybe...? She thought in reply, raising her glass to the idea and dealing a good chunk of damage to the glass's remainder. She wasn't going to let this go to waste, but she really needed to let off a little of the tension.
Kristen reached down, giving the fox a moment to sniff her before petting lightly. She didn't want to offend the fox...and they acted like they were somewhere between cats and dogs.
"I saw-- I'm...not entirely sure yet." The initial rush of inspiration and information was starting to be replaced with the sheer confusion of sorting out exactly what it was he now knew. It was strange, and fascinating, to be in a state of knowing something and not knowing something at the same time. "That remote controls something in the present, I know that. He gave it to Kristen because it was useful here, not in his future! Or maybe it's useful there, too. Okay...fascinating, and completely frustrating..."
"Might I suggest a lengthy nap?" Sosol called from the bar. "Sleep seems to help sort out the information more quickly. If you need help with that, there's a glass on the table ready for you."
"You'd never let something like a disability dampen your spirits," he said with a half-hearted smile. "But this way, you'll be able to walk into your future...even though I'm sure having your own chauffeur amuses you to no end." He watched the picture for a bit longer before having a question of his own, one that no one would be able to answer.
"I wonder where I end up...when I shift away from this future."

"I don't know how you expect me to sleep with this much on my mind," Tyler said, eyeing the glass before taking a swig, "but you've had a lot more experience with this than me." He took the glass with him, settling down at one of the couches. After all, he had a lot of parts downstairs, and he didn't want them getting wrecked. He still had that project with Kyou to complete.
"O-oh...!" Kristen retracted her arms as the fox bounded onto her lap. She was really, really light, to the oracle's surprise. "You are very friendly...!" She scratched behind the ears, stroking her back slightly and letting her enjoy the slight warmth that came with her affinity to fire.
"I would hope so, as well...I'd hate to be bored waiting on you." He grinned. Sure, he was incredibly patient, but it would certainly help if he were on a plane that could distract him however momentarily.
Azana finished her drink, heading toward the coat rack for her jacket. "I'm heading out for a bit," she announced. "I'll be back before dark."

Gren waved after Azana, biting the inside of his cheek thoughtfully, keeping himself busy by petting Eli's arm. The redhead was snuggled close, brow furrowed, deep in thought of what to do and how to manage, how to prepare...
Adam looked to Remy. "I...I know that you're doing everything you can...but is there any way I can help?"
Remy looked over Adam, thinking. "Adam, I'll give it to you straight: I don't think there is. I'm barely limping along on this one as it is; I'm just the guy with the spoilers in his mind who knows the people dealing with it. But what you and I can do is hold fast against despair. We don't have to fake smiles and such, or pretend it's okay...but we can own the sorrow and carry on, then fight when we must. In the meantime, I suggest drinking your whiskey, digesting the bad news, and then hugging your sweetheart."
Adam listened in silence, but at the conclusion, smiled just a little. He strode over and hugged Remy. "...Thank you. Thank you for not babying me."
Remy chuckled, hugging back. "No problem, dude."
Charlotte rummaged in her pocket, humming, and gifted Orrin a puzzle cube. "Here!"
