"Hm..." Orrin looked over it, around it, and finally through it. "I'm betting there's a story behind this."

"No, thank you," she answered to the poptart before hearing her wondering. "It is entirely up to you...even if you choose to leave, there will always be a room open to you." She smiled, setting a waffle onto her own plate before digging out some nutella to spread on it.

Tyler set the folded blanket aside, checking out who remained in the main room. Gren, Orrin, Charlotte...and who on Earth was she? It didn't matter much at the moment. He knew...he knew. What that remote did, where he needed to go, part of why King had left it in Kristen's capable hands. With all that came an all-new respect for the Bengalis.

She stuck out her tongue and took it back, looking through it with the grin of someone hunting little spheres.

"Sure, sure...just have to find him." said Gren, politely waving off her concern. "Nothing that bad. He's gotten hurt more than hurting anyone else, I think...except for Kyou."

"We could eat it?" offered Adam, twiddling his thumbs.

Charlotte chuckled, palming the stone and tapping his nose. "It's the seeing stone I was looking through when I first laid eye on you, goober." she smiled.

"It's all right...I can fetch him too, if you like." he said, brought to a pause as a dead rabbit was abandoned with much pride and ceremony as his feet. "Huh."

Charlotte paused, patting the fox. "Hi, You!"

Kiran returned, holding a cup of tea out to Melpomene, a pale smile on his lips. He visibly tensed at the sight of the dead animal, keeping a bit of space between it and him.
Melpomene smiled, accepting it, "Thank you, Mr. Degas. Would you please go and retrieve your work?"
Kiran was slow to nod, "O-of c-c-c-cour-rse." Zombie slow, he headed to the stairs.
She looked to Gren, "Mr. Eckener, would it be a bother to find those two for me? I'm happy to wait, it seems a bit busy."

Honey bowed her head slightly, "Not if it's a bot'er.. I'm jus' curious is all."

She accepted the petting, ears splaying to allow room. She yipped, wrapping around Charlotte for a moment, her long tail folding around her twice with plenty of wiggle room. Then flashed little fox teeth at Orrin, ears forward.

Melpomene took a very deep sigh, the kind that calmed nerves and kept oceans calm. Interaction between her kind and what she was very certain he was- no wonder Kiran had been distracted. She gave a wave and a smile. She would wait until he'd come close, waving him to take a seat and speaking gently. "Hello, Dear. I'm Melpomene, please call me Mel. Mr Eckener said you spend a deal of time with Mr. Degas?"

Tamriel unwrapped from Charlotte and bounded to Adam. She nosed at his leg and pranced around him excited. Trying to figure out if he was up for a game or to pet! He smelled like dirt! She loved dirt!

Malachai sat down with Mel, licking his lips and bashfully setting aside his rabbit. "I'll eat it later, then...but okay! What do you want to know?"

Adam petted the fox genially with a scratch at her ears. "Hello there, beautiful!"

Charlotte giggled. "You were half-asleep at the time, more or less. It's not that big a deal...but now that you know, you may keep that special-like!"

"I spend a good portion of my time in such a state...well, when I'm not around you at least," Orrin chuckled, pocketing it gingerly. "I will cherish it alongside my teacup."

"That can-- are you cold, Honey?" Kristen asked, giving her a light hug and sharing a little warmth. A sudden rush of impressions pressed on her. This was nerves...?

Sosol grinned, increasing the mug count and holding out the first cup of mulled cider to Honey. "Here...it's warm, and it gets the spices pretty well balanced."

Azana walked over to Tyler's table, taking a seat and special care not to touch anything. "What're you making this time?"

"Mushi-vision," he answered, soldering some parts before glancing up to her. "Kyou took a lot of interest in my marvels...and it's a good idea to have more than one person capable of seeing them."
