Opal looked to Gareus, a small mote of relief in her deep green eyes. After the tea woman had run off so quickly, Opal had been left feeling a bit awkward. "Ah Hello, Mapmaker. I have not seen you in a while."
Spunky groooooooowwwlllllled, but wagged his tail merrily. He only tugged harder, setting his big paws for more leverage.
Tamriel's ears flicked at the sound of Bure's voice. She nuzzled against Jeff's hand before going to the pixie. She wrapped around his leg, in her usual greeting and yipped softly.

Malachai licked his upper lip. "Spunky's trying to keep this toy away but I'm gonna throw it again!" he insisted, lifting the toy, the wolf's front paws shifting upwards with it.

Gareus tipped his cap with a grin.
"The same to you, Miss Opal. What're you doing in so enclosed an area as this?"
Bure gave an 'Ah, I see' look.
"A dubious plan."

She unwrapped from him and bounded over to Spunky. She yipped and the wolf let go of the toy. She pawed the floor and he sat perfectly still as if waiting. She looked expectantly up at Malachai and so did Spunky.
"I brought some oyster, bear and morel's for the inn. Spunky started playing and well he doesn't get to do that often."

Bure knelt down, stroking along Tam's back and then up at Mal. All of them were looking at him for a response now.
"I see..."
Gareus saw the pup that had nearly caught him before, chuckling as he remembered how he'd run into Opal's leg. That hurt.
"I'm sure he's in good hands here... You sure you're gonna stay here? You look all... squished."
He reached up and pet one of her knees.

Violet had enjoyed spending a little time catching up with Jeff, though she wasn't sure whether or not to tell him about how they thought she had second sight. She liked being normal, and she liked having Jeff see her that way, even in spite of the scars and such. She now sat and sketched, enjoying a more lighthearted work.

AND THEY WERE OFF! The fox and wolf charged after the toy in a thundering mess of legs. Tam hopped over the wolf, who barreled into the toy. She snipped it away from him and he latched on. The two animals beginning a spinning game of growling, snarling tug of war.
The giantess sighed, looking to the dancing animals and Malachai, "Just toss him out when you're tired, Malachai." She opened the door and was delightedly outside.

Gareus looked at the dogs and pixie, then followed her out.
Bure dove out of the way, landing on his side and laughing.
"Get it, Tam!"

"Hm?" Violet looked up over her sketchbook to the two and smiled, setting her work aside to watch them go. It had been a long time since she had seen puppies playing. So adorable...!

She set her paws and jerked but Spunky proved much stronger. He set his paws and with a mighty jerk, twisted the toy away from the fox and strutted to Malachai. She whined softly, rubbing paw over muzzle- that had hurt! Her tail ruffled in annoyance and wrapped around her form. Brute.
Spunky lay the slobber soaked toy at Malachai's feet and sat proudly.

"I am so glad I got that toy porkchop..." said the demon, tail swaying, teasing the young wolf with said toy. "But, but! haven't seen either of you in a long time! How are you, Violet, Bure?"
