[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

The wolf sniffed the air, abandoning the toy and beelining for Gren. His ears forward and tail bottle brushy. Tamriel wriggled free of Bure and pounced on the wolf. They tumbled a moment, the wolf snapping and fox grumbling.

The end result being Tam sitting firmly on the wolf tail up and fully flared, teeth bared and Spunky's tail tucked.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ah, a little bit of a clearer workspace...got anywhere in mind?" grinned the man kindly.

"Nope! That's the problem!" pouted Malachai. "I don't want her to fail; what if they get angry?"

"Mal, there's no capital punishment for failing grades, if that's what you're thinking."

"They could still do it locally."

"I'll explain later." assured Gren, pausing to think. "Well...I've got a secret hideout in town. Azana knows where it is. Nice, quiet, secure, a whole floor of a flat. Sound good?"

He looked rather surprised at the tussling wolf and fox. "Hey...whose wolf is this?"  

[Azana Brown]

Violet flinched at the notion of capital punishment for failing grades and gave an audible gulp, hands rubbing at a couple areas in empathic dread. Gren's secret hideout, however, sparked her interest. "W-wow...a whole floor?" She could hardly believe it...then again, given how extravagant he had seemed buying her room decor, it made a little more sense. And if Azana knew where it was, she'd still be protected.

"I...I'd really like that. It's only for a week...and, um, I can pay a little rent, if you want."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

Bure blinked and missed the action, in one moment ecstatic and about to woot, but remembered morality and moved to remove her.

"Taaaam, noooo...!"  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren chuckled warmly, shaking his head. "The last thing I need in my life is more money, Violet...you stay as long as you need to, free."  

[Astra_Senpai]

She hopped off the wolf and yipped at both. She didn't want to be picked up and she wouldn't be sassed. Tall ears flicked back she regained her adorable composure. Spunky rolled over and ran to Malachai, promptly sitting behind and giving a whine. That fox was scary!

Tamriel ruffled her fur and looked at Bure, ears flicking forwards- her attention all his.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

Bure looked between the two canines, unable to help a smile down to Tam.

"You're tough, Tam. Good."

Meanwhile, Kassadin floated unnoticed in a corner, reading what appeared to be a copy of Catcher in the Rye.  

[Azana Brown]

"You mean it...?!" Violet knew the answer, of course. He always did...but it was still astounding. She hopped, grabbing her sketchbook as she ran upstairs to pack. She still had studying to do, and a secluded place to do it was perfect!  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren smiled after her patter up the stairs, heading into the kitchen to get himself something to drink.

Malachai smiled, glad that the issue was resolved so neatly. He could have found her a place, maybe, but it was probably better that she was where Gren put her, as his only idea was an abandoned studio flat of some sort.

Curling up on the couch, he sighed to himself, thinking to address what she'd talked about. Something was bothering her? But what? Was something going to happen?  

[Azana Brown]

"Someone seemed excited," Azana commented, arriving in the main room. She looked around, eyes landing on a surprisingly disparaged Malachai. Violet energetic and Malachai downtrodden? Did she stumble through a mirror somewhere...?  

[Gren_Eckener]

Mal perked up, smiling to Azana. They were friends now! "Hello! Violet's going to go to Gren's secret base to paint and study, you know the one!" he announced, proud that he knew it.  

[Azana Brown]

"Gren's secret--oh..." Azana gave a soft smile, remembering. She still had that key...the only one on her ring that didn't serve an actual use yet. "Well, that's nice of him. Guess there's a lot of distraction around here, so I can't blame her."

Nate and Chris suddenly walked in covered in tinsel, pine needles and snow. Nate was grinning from ear to ear while Chris looked more than slightly perturbed. The pair took up seats at the bar and ordered their usual drinks.

"That's what she said too! But it's been so quiet since the holiday, I'm not sure what she means, do you?" pouted the demon.  

[Azana Brown]

"Kind of," Azana said vaguely, suddenly distracted by Nate and Chris. "Get attacked by an evil Christmas tree?" She asked with a smirk.

"It sounds like something that would happen to them," Sosol chuckled, picking up on the drink order as he strolled across the room. He wouldn't force Gren into the job.
