[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Unaware of the feelings of the younger woman, Lin's silver eyes did not leave her face.
"I could braid it." she said. She blinked then looked away. She was realizing how intimate such a request was and how that she thought about it, the fact that Kyou asked her to cut her hair.

Kassadin floated carefully into the kitchen, a wheezy sigh emanating like an accordion from Darth Vader's lips. The days felt so much longer than they did before, and looking at everyone so familial made him feel sort of... old. He couldn't remember the last time he'd had any real fun, He opened the fridge, bringing a pitcher of water back to the counter and pouring himself a glass.

"...Hrm..."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou slowly nodded. Anything Miss Lin thought was most likely the better solution. Kyou looked down, but Kyou didn't know how to maintain something as complicated as a braid. Kyou shifted uncomfortably, maybe this was asking too much of Miss Lin.

Tamriel pranced to Kassadin and yipped at him.

Jeff stepped into the kitchen as well, he was thirsty too. He stopped when he saw Kassadin. It had been a while since they last met.
"Yo. Care to pour me a glass too?" he asked.


Lin did not notice Kyou's nod as she was not looking at her. As nothing happened, she looked back up at the younger woman.
"I am sorry, I spoke out of place. I will cut them if you wish so. How short?" she asked coolly.

Kassadin jumped at the small fox's sudden yipping, but settled.

"Hello, little one."

At Jeff's entrance and request, he nodded.

"Of course."

He went back into the kitchen, fetching another glass and pouring it out before placing it down.

"For you, sir."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou paused, feeling foolish. How could Lin have seen the nod when she'd been looking away? Kyou's pale skin lit up to a brilliant red and head bowed. Shaking moonlit head at her question and gesturing for the braid.

She went to Jeff and wrapped her tail around his leg. She really did like the young human, he was very sweet once you got past that snippish behavior.

Jeff rose an eyebrow. Little? The more than 6 feet tall teen had never been called 'little' before. Sure compared to Kassadin he was shorter, but still.
Swallowing his pride, he nodded.
"Thank you." he seemed pissed anyway.
As the white fox trotted to him, Jeff lightened up some.
"Oh here you are." he said petting her head softly.
"It has been a while..." he said in the direction of Kassadin.


Lin blinked, surprised at Kyou's red face. What happened? Oh, she probably did not see her not. She felt foolish and apologized with a bow.
"I will braid it. If you do not like it, I can always cut it." she said almost softly.
She remained by Kyou's side and took a long strand of hair. Then with patience, she started braiding it.

A nod to her statement and then the process was underway. Kyou sat stone still, excluding the occasional shiver. It was so strange, why was she so kind to a monster like Kyou. Downstairs, the pen began to fly with questions but the text was becoming increasingly tighter and closer together as space was limited, soon gone. The words began to write over themselves.

Kassadin raise his glass to his 'lips,' draining a quarter of his water.

"It has."

He scrutinized the fox a tad closer. What was this familiar feeling he was receiving...?

"Pardon my memory... What was our last meeting? I'm bad with faces, you see..."  

[Zulma san]

Lin braided one long lock then she attached it simply with a hair tie. She leaned to open the little box and pulled out a small mirror.
"Is that acceptable?" she asked. She needed to know before keeping at her task. As she looked at Kyou, she got an impression of sadness and wondered if she'd rather have her hair cut.


Jeff was still petting Tam when Kassadin asked him about their last meeting. He had a chuckle.
"No clue! But you're the type of person that someone does not forget." said the adolescent.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

The dark-armored man chuckled as he rubbed perspiration along one side of his glass.

"Indeed. I'm rather that kind of thing, I suppose."

He took another sip.

"Any plans for Christmas, young man?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kyou didn't take the mirror, having full faith in Miss Lin and her abilities. Kyou turned and instead looked at Lin and bowed until broad forehead rested against the floor in thanks.

Tam nuzzled against the petting palm with a happy whimper. She loved being pet, it was just the right amount of attention. Blue eyes looked up at Kassadin, he seemed slightly familiar too. Perhaps she'd smelled him before?

Jeff shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I'll be here." after all the Inn was his home now. He did not have any family so...
"How about you?" he asked, still scratching Tam's head.


Lin shook her head slowly and took Kyou's shoulders to put her back to a straight position. "Please, there is no need for that." she was truly starting wondering what was going on in the younger woman's mind.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"About the same. I've no family, as I've seen this holiday suggests, so anyone is better than no one."

Kassadin finished his water.

Jeff looked at the man. It seems the Inn was filled with people without family.

"Soooo what's the deal with the suit?" he asked with interest.
