Malachai thought a moment, tail curling at an idea. "...Would you like it if we did?" he asked innocently.  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

Set fell silent, shaking his head. Before he had the chance to dismiss the idea, Anubis brightened up. "I think that would be a wonderful idea!"  

[Gren_Eckener]

He perked up immediately, beaming. "Parties? I like parties! We can have a party! With cake and wines and neat stuff! And presents, Sire!"  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

Set looked a tad shocked. "...My birthday was days ago."

"Oh, Uncle, it hasn't even been a week!" Anubis grinned. "And I bet Kebechet will think it's great fun!"

At the prospect of seeing his granddaughter smile, Set seemed to lose any motivation to resist.  

[Gren_Eckener]

Malachai chirped cheerily, wings flicking in excitement. "Do you like cake? I heard that you needed streamers and balloons for parties too, right?"  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"And music! Music, and dancing!" Anubis added, seeming to already have his heart set on this party.

"Well, yeah. I like cake and wine." Set nodded. "And I don't know if streamers and balloons are necessary."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Cake and wine, okay...we have both of those in large amounts." he smiled, tail lashing eagerly. "No balloons, and streamers? Okay...confetti? Neat little toys in bags?"  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

Set put both his hands in the air. "It's all in your hands, Malachai. Do whatever you want."  

[Gren_Eckener]

His eyes widened. "A-all on...all on me?"

He'd never been in charge of anything. Certainly nothing organized.

He blushed deeply. This, this god was trusting him with his birthday party..?!

The cookie tray began shaking in his hands. "Th-thank you, Sire. I shall do my best..!"

Set didn't seem to see the same importance in the matter as Malachai did, understandably so. However, he saw the poor man had begun to shake, so he shot him a reassuring smile. "...I'm sure that you'll do a good job. I trust you, kid."

"I'll help, if you want me to." Anubis offered, trying to be supportive.  

[Gren_Eckener]

He bit his lip eagerly, anxious, nervous, excited all at once. At Anubis' offer, he nodded. "How's the 6th?"  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"I think we could find the time!" Anubis said. for once, he didn't seem as shy as he usually did. He loved helping other people.

"As long as my ex isn't about, I'm sure it'll be great." Set added, attempting to be humorous.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Oh, thank you, Sire Anubis! I promise that it'll be a great party, Sire Set! I don't even know which ex you mean, so I can't invite them anyway!" he grinned brightly. "It'll be the best!"  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"Good, it's always better that way." Set grinned his crocodile grin and took another cookie from the plate."How have things been around here?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

"The Horsemen came by, because some big horrific thing didn't happen." he said happily. "Apparently we missed an apocalypse! everyone was really worried about it, but we're all safe and sound. And you?"
