[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"You mean the Baktun?" Set asked, wishing he had a cup of wine.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"If I heard it right, it was the coming of the Fifth Horseman, not the new year." he said, setting down the tray. "Can I get you anything? I've had my magic unbound, so I have a much better capacity for work."  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"Unbound?" Set inquired. " I would appreciate some spiced wine."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Yes, sire." he said, taking to the bar and getting the spiced wine. He knew where it was, seeing as it was the season for such things. "Unbound, yes...my powers were bound, and with it, some of my mind."  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"Your mind?" Set's eyebrows arched on his face.

"That sounds interesting. Is there a story?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

He nodded, tail swaying as he poured three glasses of wine. "It kept me from hunting with any skill, or using my magic. The humans had me chained up, so to speak, until they trusted me. It's so nice to be myself again!"

For all that the difference that it made.

Anubis and Set nodded as they took the cups. "What was it like? I mean,I've had limits put on magic, but...."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Malachai ushered the trio to the comfortable seats and sat down, sipping his wine. "It's...it was like being covered in lint, only you didn't know it, until you were free. You couldn't think clearly, you couldn't remember everything...but the worst part was that you didn't know that you didn't know or remember anything."  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"I think I see what you mean. Mine was different- I knew what I was missing." Set took a long, thoughtful sip from his wine.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"No...this was...scary. I mean, I know that I'm not that bright overall, but thinking on it, I was practically helpless." sighed Mal, sipping his wine with a pout.  

[Rei Yami Hikari]

"Oh, I'm sorry...." Anubis swirlled his glass as he thought of something else to say. "...At least it's over now, right?"  

[Azana Brown]

Violet listened from the kitchen, the voices barely discernible over the sounds of her own cooking. Sizzling bacon, the light *chak* of popping toast...eggs and pancake batter were at the ready next. She didn't understand what they were talking about at all, but it was Malachai and some strangers. Her hands twitched as she cooked, and she found herself fighting them and her own curiosity about the strangers outside.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Kiran came down the stairs. Clean shaven, well dressed and in...a daringly good mood, he gave a small wave to Malachai and ducked into the kitchen. Those he was with were SWIMMING in magic and Kiran wanted none of that. He smiled gently, "H-h-hel-l-lo, M-Miss... Z-Zip-p-po." Kiran moved to the drinkamajig and entered in for breakfast tea.  

[Azana Brown]

"You..." Violet greeted him kindly, giving herself a moment to remember his name. "Kiran, right...? Would you like breakfast? It's not all done yet, and it's not as good as Gren or Zulma...but you're welcome to it..."  

[Astra_Senpai]

It was nice to be remembered. Wasn't it? Horrid to be forgotten but.. that wasn't the case. He smiled to her, "Y-yes t-to b-both... I w-will n-nev-ver t-t-tur-rn d-d-down a m-meal, M-Miss V-Viol-let."

The white fox, nose to the air, appeared at the top of the stairs.Sitting and curling her tail around herself. What a good smell coming from down here, old and preserved well into decent age. How could she not come take a peek?
