[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Whuffing a bit at the air at the scent of another demon, Bill flushed a bit to see that it was an exceptionally attractive huldra. He bowed his head politely as she passed, fixed his tie a little as her returned, and glanced to the door after her, curious.

"G-good day, my lady."  

[Azana Brown]

"Not usually a need," Azana shrugged. "Most people are pretty calm around here. I've broken up a couple potential fights, but that's about it. It's surprising how well we all can coexist...and how we can unite against common enemies." She hadn't entirely meant it to be, but the last part was a bit defensive.

"I think I'll get myself a beverage...anything for you, Bill?" Orrin asked calmly, having drifted toward the kitchen during their short exchange.

"Erh...something hot, sire, if you please." he rumbled, now a bit bemused by everything. Adjusting his grip on Malachai's warrant, he shifted his weight on his feet. "Common enemies? I did not think our breed shared any with yours."  

[Astra_Senpai]

She ruffled up a bit, Manners? Oh dear~.

She's still learning her nose a bit, but having been so close and been given a moment. Ah, ash and brimstone, he's a circle boy. Someone WAS in trouble, unless someone'd forgotten to tell her about the OTHER demons who frequented. "Good day to you, Sir," she'd purred back.

Waiting until Azana had finished, not wishing to interrupt, though taking note on the rough landing. "You would be very surprised what just happens to concern both sides."

Her icy gaze rested on 'Bill' with genuine curiosity. Well practiced sugar in her tone, "If I may? What brings a handsome fellow like you topside? Vacation?" Watched him shift, hm, nervous? Angels would do that.  

[Azana Brown]

"No problem...that happens to be its specialty," Orrin grinned, vanishing into the kitchen to fetch a pair of hot drinks.

"Not particularly, no," Azana rocked a little. "I should be more specific. When one of us is threatened, many of us come to their defense...kind of like a small, extremely dysfunctional family." She took a sip, memories dancing through her mind. Everyone's eagerness to help with any problem, big or small. She nodded her agreement to Tamriel before directing her attention to the now-humanoid huldra.

"Apparently, Mal's been accused of going AWOL from work," she explained shortly, "and I've learned more than I ever would've want to about his job."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I see...what an unusual place, for such harmony. I am quite impressed."

He shuffled a hoof a little, looking down slightly at Tam's attention. " That's correct...I've come to collect Malachai, a renegade incubus, for dereliction of duty. He left his post for a full year and I have traced his activity to this establishment."

Bill looked up again with a mild frown. "I do not have vacations, my lady, merely duties...have you seen the derelict?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

A warm croon, "He is and Incubus after all, Azana." Thank goodness for that shopping trip or she'd still be calling her 'Mrs. Jacobs.'

"Such a shame, I could use a handsome demon like you around," her tone was honest, earnest. Arching a brow, "Derelict? Malachai? Mm I cannot say I have seen him recently. He's always up to something."

Trying to figure out how the microwave works for example.

Azana sighed, sipping her tea. She'd never unhear that...but then again, there had been plenty that she didn't need to know. She'd manage.

Orrin walked out with a trio of mugs. One for himself, one for Bill, and one for the newly transformed Tam. "Good morning. Glad you could join us."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"H-handsome...no, no, milady. You are far too kind."

Bill accepted the mug, sniffing carefully and sipping the mystery drink. He paused, looking into his mug. "...what is this?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel smiled, certainly Bill knew she couldn't lie to him.

Ear tipping back, tail ruffling a bit, she accepted the mug from Orrin, "Thank you very much." She looked at the contents, head tilting slightly... she didn't know either. How embarrassing.

He sipped a bit more anyway. "So, eh...up to something, you say? Would you happen to know what?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tall white ears flicked back a moment, then forward, "Oh it's beyond me to keep track of others doings, but he's very active. Hands on and in everything, asking questions... I've always wondered if he was simply gathering information for the rings."

She smiled gently, almost serene, a flutter of long lashes just for Bill, "I'd certainly be sad to see him go, a pause, "And you with him."

That got a blush out of the large beast: a slight, glowing bronze at the corners of his cheeks. "W-would you now..."

Malachai frowned slightly, intrigued. Was she...flirting with Bill?  

[Astra_Senpai]

Her smile was sweet and sincere, "Of course. A gentleman of your caliber is certainly welcome company." She glance to his tie, back up to him, "You were even polite enough to wear that charming tie."

He looked at his tie. "Well, I wore it because I heard it was traditional garb for human business negotiations." he said, then looking at the pants. "As well as business slacks...humans seem very concerned with pants."
