[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

"They are a very modest breed." At this, she rose and walked to him, "So considerate to dress for the occasion." Circling him as a shark would prey, her tail rufflinf here and there, coming to stop just before him, "If I may, Sir?"

She reached out, gentle and smiling she adjusted his collar and tie, tidying him a bit, "A Windsor knot and so well done. I'm very impressed. Not many demons wear it well."

A step back, "What is that little paper? May I?"

He raised an eyebrow, swallowing hard as she fixed his tie. Oh my.

"It's a warrant for Malachai's retrieval."  

[Astra_Senpai]

"If you find him, must you take him immediately," she asked. She laced her hands in front of her, the act lifting her bust only slightly, "Or could... pardon, would there be a delay for on site evaluation?" Just a small slip.  

[Gren_Eckener]

He glanced away, quite the gentleman. "I suppose I could withhold for an evaluation...if he is proven to be doing his job, I could waive it."  

[Astra_Senpai]

His reaction and answer draw a coo of delight from her, "Wise, handsome and fair." Maybe she was lonely for too long, but he had something... appealing about him. "You certainly are a good supervisor aren't you? How rare and wonderful."

She smiled, a long tooth crossing her lip, she would dare. "If you do so... I would be delighted to show you about... even tempted to spoil you a bit. So you could enjoy this, even just a small amount."

Bill sighed deeply, looking down. "I am sorry, my lady...but I am bound by duty to see this through. Until I have a resolution, I have no right to indulge in such luxuries, no matter how tempting.Please forgive my rudeness."  

[Astra_Senpai]

Tamriel pouted only a moment then smiled, "Then I suppose I'll have to hope you'll have a moment after the resolution comes. Won't I, Sir?"

A little strong, but eh. She crossed back to her drink. Back to Bill, her blue eyes focus on Malachai. He's buttered up, what're you going to do? She settles in a chair, sips her drink and offers, "No harm in sitting and waiting. He'll turn up eventually."

He smiled a bit gruffly. "Afterward, yes..."

Sipping his tea, he looked about. "I am tempted to look for him."  

[Azana Brown]

"There's not much of a need for that, though his senses are keen. He may be avoiding you," Azana commented with a shrug, by now familiar with infernal charms. "He was a pro at staying out of my way when he thought I was an active threat."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"He did?" growled Bill, setting down his mug. "That slacking amateur...and coward to boot! Any fool could tell you're simply the carrier, not the holy beast."

He sighed, rubbing his forehead with a grimace. "Inexcusable...he'd best not be hiding; it's all the worse for him if he is."

Malachai decided that now was the time to make an introduction...an innocent one, at that.

Yawning, he strolled out of Felix's room, stretching his wings and pausing mid-flare, staring at Bill.

"Well...hey, Boss..." he grinned sheepishly.  

[Astra_Senpai]

Well this should be interesting. Tamriel sipped at the lemon extract.  

[Azana Brown]

Uh oh, Azana thought, thinking fast. "He was wise, not cowardly," she started quickly, filling in the plan as she went. "He convinced my cousin to undo a pesky binding some mage managed to plant on him." As Malachai made his entrance, she glanced over to him.

"Angelic mark or not, I don't like it when people mess with my family. I would've fried him if he hadn't given me a chance to cool down and see his side of it. Sly b*****d, he is."

Thank me later, when we get him out of here.

Orrin sipped his drink serenely. He would have answered about the drinks, but they were enjoyed, and the group was busy with Malachai. He'd just watch. Maybe Charlotte would need popcorn for this one.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Bound?" rumbled Bill, brow furrowing. "Wise? Malachai, you little twit, come here."

He trotted up dutifully, shooting a thought at Azana: I've never been terribly clever, Az, don't make it sound like I am!

"Yes?"

He leered, all fangs, standing to loom over the incubus (who was looking appropriately sheepish). "Is this human telling the truth?"

"Ahhh...well, yes. I did get my powers bound by a rather spiteful mage." he said, doleful. "And...well, they helped me out, but I had to get their trust, Bl-"

"No." he hushed, not letting his true name be spoken. "Bill, here."

"Right. Bill. Sorry. But, ah, yes. It took that long." he nodded.  

[Azana Brown]

Doesn't take much wisdom to avoid me when I'm pissed, Azana answered, pretty sure he knew she'd stick to the truth. To Bill, though, she smirked. "What would I gain from lying to you about him? Sure, he's no Einstein, but he's good at his job, as far as I see. He's won most everyone here over during his absence from Hell, and we're a diverse bunch."

Orrin simply sipped and watched. His eyes were slightly unfocused, gazing more upon a larger order than what played out before him.

Tyler had come downstairs, yawning. He had reached a decision about the mutants in King's secret lab. Unwilling to kill them all yet, hesitant about releasing them, and unsure about the electrical power to the lab, he had increased the efficiency and brought a couple more generators. Perhaps when he had some help, some who could help rehabilitate them, he could let them out.

It's not the ideal scenario, but there's little more I can do for them. I don't think Taylor has anyone gifted in this field yet. He stopped, looking to Malachai and...well, this was certainly interesting.

That comment didn't seem to be helping much at all. Bill growled. "Malachai...am I not mistaken in thinking that in fact, you have befriended these humans, as opposed to turning them to our side?!"

Malachai smiled slowly. damn it all. There was no way he could claim that a holy host had been converted to his side, but she kept speaking highly of his actions, which as a very contradiction of everything that an angel-bearer would do! He was stuck!
