[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

There was a moment, a hissing snarl from beneath the cloth- a rise in the cry of cicada as the heavily layered arm shuffled beneath the cloth. Kyou rested the bandaged hand on it. The pen pressed deep a moment before continuing almost lazily. 'I am human... one day I shall be mushi. For now. I am me and it is I. For now I am called Senpai Kyou. I am honored to meet you, Mr. Bill'

Green gaze fell to Hemlock, Kyou had seen it before from above. 'And to see you in the Inn again, Hemlock.'  

[Gren_Eckener]

Malachai ruffled Hemlock's hair a bit. "How's Kaz?"

Bill nodded once, a bow of his horns given in respect. "Is it similar to how one returns to the dust?"  

[Astra_Senpai]

'The dust? I am not familiar with this term,' the pen revealed. Kyou's attention back on the demon. What an interesting thing to see, is this what Malachai looked like in the below?  

[Gren_Eckener]

"We come from the dust. We return to the dust. Is your body born from mushi, and shall it return to them?" he asked in a low rumble.  

[Astra_Senpai]

'No. The mushi is a symbiote. I.. was born human but became a host before I was a child. I am human, born from flesh and bone. One day I will be mushi. Dead but alive, a being inbetween and unseen. It will be me and I will be unaware. It will be beautiful and terrible and I will be asleep. Dreaming of butterflies if I am lucky.'

Kyou looked down to the floor, green eye glimmering softly before looking back up and closing in a momentary smile. Open again, the gaze fell on the demon levelly, 'I hope that answered your question. I have been told I prattle when I explain.'  

[Gren_Eckener]

He read the page carefully, contemplating what he'd been told. "What a long existence you will carry...I wish you the best of luck in it." he replied, nodding, looking Kyou in the eye as levelly as he was regarded. "I do not mind a thorough explanation, so long as one is given."  

[Astra_Senpai]

A graceful bow of the head, the pen tapped, 'My thanks to you. Despite not knowing I am eager to see the outcome if I am allowed.'

'You are a different kind of oni than Friend Malachai aren't you? I find it interesting how bold you are.'  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Bold?" he asked, looking mildly bemused.  

[Astra_Senpai]

'Yes. Had you walked into the main of the city they would have panicked. Here, your appearance is shocking but not entirely unusual. I admit, I am leery but Miss Azana is a fine warrior.'  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I knew where he was..." he said, scratching his cheek. "I am learning that I am not prepared for widespread human interaction...even with the tie."  

[Astra_Senpai]

'If that woman fox is around she came here without the ears and tail. Friend Malachai does not usually roam around with his horns and wings. I think we have had more visitors who had to change their appearance. I believe they were called Anubis and ... forgive me the other escapes me. But even they seem to have human forms.'  

[Azana Brown]

"Mistress seems pleased," Hemlock reported, ice cream afterglow in full effect. "She's been playing with her new stuff, and I think not having to plan revenge is a big weight off her shoulders! I dunno if she has any new plans right now, but I think so, 'cuz they're renovating the church in the spring! I heard the mean people talking about it, knocking down walls and making new room."

He hadn't ignored Kyou, not at all, but he was busy talking to Bill, and Malachai had asked a direct question.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Why should I wear a glamour?" he asked, frowning. "I was of the information that Gaia was a land where all breeds walk alike."

"Is that right? How are her followers doing?" asked Mal cheerfully, tail swaying.  

[Azana Brown]

"They haven't changed much," Hemlock pouted. "They all worship Mistress, but most of them don't really like each other much. I bet they'd get more done if they worked together without being ordered to..." He soon cheered up, wing tips twitching.

"But, but but but! Mistress has me, and Tama and Deya now! We help her keep an eye on them!"

"That's true...they do walk alike, but some remain misunderstood," Azana piped up. "There's still those who hold to the old-fashioned notion that all demons are equal and stereotypical. I know better, but I've got a job to do regardless, thanks to my contract. For instance, Hemlock there is about as harmless as they come. She still gets a little wary when he's about."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Weeeeell, what are they doing that takes two whole chibis and a tough guy like you?" asked Malachai with a grin, rumpling Hemlock's hair.

Bill hummed deeply, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Your angel is one of the indiscerning sort, is she?"
