[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"Good boy! You're a very, very, very good Spunky." smiled Mal, petting the wolf's ears.

Adam laughed warmly. "Hi, Marilyn! Hi Bure!"

"Ai raika dagii tu! Biigan furendurii!" smiled the chibi, fluffing his feathers to dry out.  

[Azana Brown]

"Very," Marilyn chuckled, wiping off her hand before waving to Adam. "Hello again...!"

Azana, meanwhile, strolled downstairs, looking thoughtful and generally not paying much attention to the rest of the room. After nearly stumbling over the last stair, she finally snapped to and looked about. There wasn't much out of the ordinary, though Malachai seemed to have a pet now. As long as it didn't wreck the place, she supposed, but Moonbeam would probably be more reclusive than ever.

A new day crept upon the Inn with a mutter of spring in the air. Enta and Honey had celebrated their freshest birthdays, the daffodils were beginning to sprout, and a fair wind was enough to rouse even the most reticent Innkeeper.

Gren hummed, quite content to rearrange the bar. Since none had been so brash as to raid the bottles, he felt that today was the day to remove the vinegar at last.  

[Azana Brown]

Azana walked downstairs, half paying attention to the stairs as she read through a manila folder with a familiar insignia on the front. Her heart had been doing a disco since she received it, but now it seemed a bit of a letdown. After that seeming lull at winter's end, this was her mission? Lame...but hey, at least the weather was good for some investigating.

"Good morning, Azana...can I get you anything to start the day?" smiled Gren kindly, apparently in a splendid mood.  

[Azana Brown]

"If the mate's been restocked, I'll have some of that...otherwise, whatever's good for hitting the ground running." She looked to him, happy to see him out and about. He almost seemed like he had been hibernating through winter with Adam. She set down the folder nearby as she took a seat. "I just got this from HQ...it's lame, but it's something to do. Guess the long winter took its toll on the usual suspects, too."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I think we have some..." he replied, setting some water to boil before looking in the cupboard. "What's the new mission, eh? Something exciting?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Not really," Azana shrugged, pulling out the brief and setting it in front of him. "The mundie cops are baffled by a sudden increase in armed crimes. All the weapons they find lack any identifying markers, including serial numbers. They don't know where they're coming from, so the GMO's picking it up. Thinking there may be something metaphysical about these, but it's not certain." She let out a sigh, looking through a few pictures with a bored expression.

"After demons and coups and supervillains, this seems a bit lackluster, you know...?"

Hana rolled onto his side to try and bury his face furthe into the back cushion of one of the couches in the common room. His splitting headache did not seem to have any intention of going away and the brigh lights only seemed to make it worse. Screwing his eyes shut, her curled his black-dyed tail around him and set his black and gold streaked head of messy hair under the most convenient pillow.

Honey barreled inside from the out, shoulder length blonde hair plastered to her face as she panted. Morning run was always fun, taking out her headphones, the heavy techno remix needed to be turned down. Not that she would, it was on low to her.

She waved to Gren and Azana, catching glimpse of someone she'd not seen before. Looking up above her for- there was the long arm of the sleeping not man thing. Giving it a wide berth, Honey tilted her head to the side and waltzed to the couch, to get a better look at the amazing boots and the person who they belonged to.

A black furred ear twitched in the general direction of the sound of movement. Lifting his pillow ever so slightly, Hana managed to tilt his face just enough to spare a glance at the tiny blond vircling his current sleeping place. He only aknowledged her with a grunt, his throat raw for any number of reasons, and re-covered his face with the hopes of falling back to sleep.

Azana sighed, looking through the pictures. What the heck was she supposed to do with this? It wasn't like she had an ear to the ground on the illegal arms trade. After all, these weapons had to come from somewhere, even if they didn't have serial numbers. So, her options were Max and Tyler, probably...they always had a way of finding what she needed to know.

Her attention was pulled away momentarily to Honey, then to a very grouchy-looking Hana. Then again, he always seemed a little surly. "Hey," she said with a wave.

She issued a chirp of surprise at the ear. Looking to Azana with excitement sparkling in her big eyes, "'Lo, Azana. 'Ow's it 'anging?"

Twittering an excited giggle, Honey sat down and lifted an edge of the pillow. ""'Lo, Love. 'Ou bo- peepin or bein' shy?"

hana flopped his arm n greeting at Azana's familiar voice but immediateoy cringed at the new heavily accented one. "Ugh... I must still me drunk..." he grumbled, voice hoarse, "Cuz I can't understand a word you just said..."

"Hangover...?" Azana inquired, tilting her head at his reaction and answering Honey's question at the same time. "Gren's fixing me some tea...wanna share?" She shifted conversation to Honey, holding up the folder.

"Got a mission. Boring one, but it's work."
