[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Astra_Senpai]

Honey twirled in through the door with a massive haul of candy, silver bells jingling around her hips, singing to the thrumming heaphones over her ears, "nage-nawa ki-nobori daisuki, kuchibue oshaberi daisuki watashi wa watashi wa, watashi wa-" She stopped, headphones off, "'Lo!"

Tamriel stared for a moment, coming across cross eyed at the angle until she closed her eyes before the peck. Sipping her tea silently, an ear flicked towards the noisy girl but slowly swivel- no it stayed on the girl. "Melon shaved ice?"

"Hey, Honey!" Azana waved as James popped away. "How'd it go?"

Sosol had poured himself a glass of the now chilled mate, leaning against the bar and sipping it. The others could continue...he just wanted to be around to stop the senseless violence this seemed to cause.

"I got something!!" Max crowed, landing at the bottom of the stairs before looking to Honey. "Oh. You first!"

Setting the candy haul on a table, it thudded satisfactorily, pending the survival of it over the next day or so she'd have plenty to work off of.

"Robin 'Ood enough t' buy out a whole shop, 'anded over some to donation but tha's jus' 'ow it works. Yea'? 'Elp 'ourselves b'cause it'll take me long enough t' plow t'rough."

Producing the silver coin from her pocket, she held it out to Azana, "End of the busk, came away wit' this bit of angel's breat'. Rings proper so it's genuine enough." Tucking her bangs behind her ears, "T'ere's a jewelry shop tha' goes to the 'VW' T'ree Valley Jewelers but not a soul was about. Closed sign."

"It's, um, it's a dessert! Shave up some ice and then put melon syrup on it...it's yummy!" said Mal, gesturing. "It's really good in the summer when it's super hot out. Cools down the body."  

[Azana Brown]

"Three Valleys?" Azana blinked, looking to Sosol before working at her wedding band. It took some effort, but it finally slipped off her finger. Inside the band (and it was hard to tell since hers was smaller) was the same scripted initials.

"I thought that sounded familiar..." She said, slipping it back on. "That's where we bought our wedding rings."

"Closed, though...?" Sosol let out a sigh. "Guess she's done well enough to take a vacation."

"Okay! My turn!" Max beamed. "There was a break-in, but nobody took any weapons! They took schematics, blueprints! Somebody wanted a how-to!"

"..." Tyler kept quiet, arms folded as he listened. He'd answer Kyou's inevitable questions...just as soon as he answered his own.

"Break in?" Lips pressed together, But I didn't take anything but a photo on my mobile... must be someplace else, she shrugged and picked through for a lollipop.

Kyou shifted, very much wanting a piece of candy but not wanting to upset the girl. Sitting still was the best option.

Tamriel smiled, "I see. When the time comes I will have to try it for myself. I enjoy cold sweets."

Mal nodded, leaning on Felix, sleepy. "Yeah...you should eat one. I always melt mine pretty quick, so I can't make you one."

He lifted his head and sniffed thrice, licking his lips. "...huh."  

[Azana Brown]

"Yup! And get this...it was an old Trent Tech place! One 'a the few Macbeth didn't get her fingers into!" Max beamed. "I know it ain't much, but it means they're probably makin' their own. I can totally look up purchases or thefts of equipment next! In fact, it's probably runnin' through my filter now!"

Tyler picked a handful of candy, glancing up toward the ceiling to Kyou. He threw one in the air, the seeming aim being to catch it in his mouth. If Kyou wanted it, however, he wouldn't be cross.

"Well, that rules out stealing them from someone else. They're making them...but where, and how?" Azana hummed in thought.

"Don't forget the who," Sosol chimed in. "All I was able to pick up was the dainty touch of a very sad lady..."

Kyou snapped the candy out of the air. How kind of Tyler to toss a piece high enough to be taken.

Honey wasn't patient enough for the lolli, she crunched into it. Sad feeling, the shop was dusty, "Do 'ou know if VW does all 'er crafts at the shop? I wouldn' wha' wit' 'ow messy big wire work is." She hummed, half mumbling, "I don' t'ink she's been t'ere a while."

"To be fair, you are a bit above the melting point." She sniffed too, but all she caught was the candy.

Tyler ate one himself before tossing another up to Kyou on the sly. He understood that she and Honey had a bit of an issue in the past...Honey didn't seem the sort to quickly sort through her problems.

"She was proud of it," Sosol answered. "Most of the pieces in the shop were her own creations. I don't know whether she did all of them in shop or not, but they were great work. And why am I talking about it in past tense? She's still extremely talented, even if she's on vacation."

Azana frowned at Honey. "How long a while...?" She blatantly ignored the fact that the musician had likely done something shady to figure that out. After all, she herself would've done the same.

Honey flinched, shoulders tensing, "Long 'nough for dust t' settle but not for Jack and Jill t' be due." Rocking on her heels, she debated before continuing, "It didn' make sense t' go on 'oliday an' leave all the lights on, but I dunno' anyt'in' 'bout 'ow business works."

Kyou caught the treat, dropping a vibrant blue stone down, then merrily returning to crunching away and watching. Candy in this place is very interesting! This one had sticky clay colored contents.

Tyler crunched on a candy. "Maybe she's our culprit," he said, completely deadpan despite the reaction from the couple. "What? People do crazy things when they're desperate."

"I refuse to believe that," Sosol shook his head. "She's a kind soul who likes creating art to express beauty and love--"

"Which would explain her deep sadness at resorting to weaponry," Tyler shrugged. "I'm just saying this is pretty suspicious, such a long vacation when all this is going on."

"It's a pretty big jump from jewelry to pistols, Ty," Azana chimed in. "How exactly would she pull that off?"

"Let's see what Max's search turns up." He tossed another candy upward. It didn't make sense, and yet it did. To keep doing what she loved, to turn to something more sinister. Though the how was still eluding them. He flipped out his phone and sent a text to Max.

Run a search on Three Valleys Jewelers and its proprietor, please.

Momentarily relieved, she left a hefty amount of her candy behind for those who hadn't gotten any- a thought crossed her. She took the coin to Sosol, held it out to him, "I dunno 'ow it works but can't 'ou.. I dunno see who put t'is in my collection?"

"With pleasure," Sosol grinned, taking the coin and almost immediately getting an impression. "It's her...Victoria..." He said, turning it over in his hand. "She listened to you play...really enjoyed it, too."

"Hm, so she was holding it while she was listening. It's not usually that current," Azana commented. Though that meant she wasn't really anywhere exotic. What was she doing...?

Honey wrinkled her nose, looking to Azana, "'Ou think she's 'iding maybe. 'Ou said I'm obvious yea'? Maybe she's askin' for 'elp?" She couldn't help but grin a little, someone who appreciated her plucking couldn't be a bad soul.
