[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"You've shown that quite a bit of affection," Victoria grinned. "It's always nice to see my works admired...but by a fellow artist is an added bonus."

"Wait...how'dya know he's an artist, huh?" Max asked, arms folded.

"He has that eye for aesthetics, like you do, Max...though your body is the canvas." Victoria waited for a bit, just taking in the sights and tracing her shoe along the floor. "Mine is metal. It's cool, sparkling...and it loves me as much as I love it."

"Um...metal ain't sentient...is it?"

Adam returned, serving a round of cucumber water to all but Remy. "Sure it is, Max...as much as earth, or anything you apply your will toward...like people, and pets too."

Remy nodded. "You know how you'll pet your computer when it's being a butt and sweet-talk it? Learn just how it likes to move, or a speed your car's comfortable at? It's like that. Or, y'know, like how I can't just use any old paintbrush. It's not the bristle count that's important, but the comfort in the hand, the familiarity...or, of course, our guest here has an unusually magnetic presence,"

Lizzy made her way into the common room of the inn. She glanced around for a second before letting her pack fall to the floor with a sigh. "Man its a pain getting here" she murmured to herself.

A friendly-looking blond man, hair neatly combed, sideburns tidily trimmed, smiled quite sweetly and offered a wave to the newcomer. "Hello, miss! Welcome to the Inn of Peace! Could I offer you a drink as a refreshment?"

He held up a pitcher of water, a few slices of cucumber floating in it, as if hopeful she'd say yes.

"Huh?" Max looked over to the dropped pack and its owner. "Oh...oh, crap! I'm still glowy-polka-dotted mega-mage," she blurted quietly in realization. "Um...'scuse me for a bit, eh, Vicky?" She got up and rushed not to the basement but upstairs.

Victoria blinked at yet another newcomer...though this one was packed. She had meant to come all the way out here? With Adam caring for her, the lady of greys sipped the cucumber water herself, both to prove it was tasty and to revel in its simplistic charm.

"Is the Inn of Peace always this busy...?" She asked Remy calmly, surprisingly serene all things considered.

Lizzy turned her green eyes to the stranger and swallowed hard at the sight of nice cool water."Please.." She said abandoning her pack and walking forward. Her clothes were slightly tattered. She had slipped and fallen in her clumsiness more than once.

"In its own way." smiled Remy, fangs gleaming at the corner of his lips as he leaned briefly into the couch. "Hang around a day or two, and you'll find that your smithing abilities, though unique, are hardly out of place."

Flipping a lazy wave to the newcomer, he offered Victoria a hand. "Remy, by the way...sorry for all the fuss back there."

Adam, the blond, beamed, pouring a glass at the bar, and proudly offered it. "You look like you've had quite a journey, if you don't mind my saying. Travelled far?"

Lizzy watched the others for a second she had failed to notice them before. Shaking her head for a second she returned her attention to the blonde with the pitcher of yum that seemed to be screaming her name. At his comment she looked over herself. "Its more... I get lost easily... and.. well..i.." her words trailed off as she tripped over seemingly nothing and stumbled forward into the counter. "Well that..." She huffed a sigh and shook her head.

"It's but a mild inconvenience," Victoria answered him, taking his hand with her dainty grasp. "Victoria Wesley, proprietor of Three Valleys Jewelers. It's admittedly a misleading name, for I am the only one there..." Her attention snapped to the stumbled lady, resisting the urge to go and help.

"Are you well, madam?" She asked out of polite concern.

Max shook her head, chuckling as she sat on the floor in her room and coaxed each little orb out, one by one. "It's like pulling bobby pins out of an updo..." She muttered, shaking her head as her vision blurred slightly. Oh, yeah...all that magic. She shuffled together a few cushions to support her and leaned against the wall, keeping up with her de-dotting.

"Remy Legume." grinned the brunette with a genial shake. "I'd love to see your other works sometime...oh, and don't mind the chibis. They work on bribes...give 'em anything to eat but chocolate, and they're all sorts of friendly."

"Oh dear..."

Adam frowned slightly, all concern and set her glass on the bar, offering a hand to help her up. "Perhaps a sit-down will do you a bit of good, then...would you like a room to rest in, and get yourself in order?"

Lizzy laughed nervously at the sudden attention from the room "Erm.. im fine... Just clumsy..." she scratched the back of her head. when a room was brought up she was reminded of why she was there in the first place. "Well.. im not sure a room is necessary.. im not sure how long ill be here." She paused and glanced back at the door remembering her pack as well. "Im supposed to meet someone here... i think..." She added as she moved to her pack and hefted it over her shoulder.

"Oh...well, that's all right..." grinned Adam, trying to be helpful. "But, meeting someone here? It's kind of out of the way...or is it a resident here already? What's their name?"  

[Zulma san]

Zulma stepped into the Inn and dropped her luggage on the ground. She dusted her clothe and looked around a happy smile on her face.
"Home sweet home." she beamed.

Adam beamed, waving from the bar, briefly breaking conversation with the newcomer. "Welcome home, Zulma! It's been far too long; can I get you anything, take your bags?"

Zulma smiled tenderly at the blond man. "Always a perfect gentleman, Adam, come here. All I want right now is a hug, the rest can wait." she said happily, crossing the room to take him in her arms in a warm embrace.
