[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Zulma san]

Zulma looked down at her cup. As usual it was bittersweet coming home, she felt so loved and welcomed here and yet, guilty for having left, but that was who she was. Before the Inn, she had been a wanderer, a fighter and it was impossible for her to settle even though she loved having a place known as home where she could come back to.
"Me too Adam." she turned her face to look at him and repeated. "Me too."
She took a sip and asked. "I am sure I have missed many things." she had an apologetic chuckle.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Well, I dunno...I mean, what happened when you were around last? It's hard to think of what's been missed from a day-to-day perspective." he admitted, sipping his tea. "Nobody's run off in a panic...nobody's gotten into big fights...the GMO is having their testing right now, but that's not a big deal..."

He glanced to the couch and counter. "We have new, quiet guests?"

Zulma's laughter perked up. "You got a point. And to be honest, I am still a little confused about what was or wasn't going on the last time I was here."
She smiled and looked around briefly. "Calm and quiet is good."
She drank some more tea. "Well you are doing fine. How about Gren and MacPere, Azana and Sol, Tyler, Kyou, Charlotte and the others?" she asked at once.  

[Gren_Eckener]

He chuckled, perhaps a bit ruefully. "I almost never do, if it's any consolation...still, let's see...The couples are all doing well; Charlotte and Orrin just ran off earlier today for parts unknown...Az and Sol are out taking test...Gren and MacPere are doing well, still as flirty as ever, but they've calmed down a little so it's not quite as...third-wheel...ish? Right? Is that the term?"

She nodded with a little laugh. "I am not sure this is a term but I understand what you mean." she smiled, she was happy to hear that Gren and MacPere were doing better than when she left, she remembered that Gren was feeling lonely at one point.
He spoke of couple, so she tilted her head a little, looking at him from the corner of her eye. "How about you?" she asked.

He smiled a little, eyes tender. "I'm all right...Enta's a sweetie, and mails me a lot from his fashion tour. I miss him, but that's his job, you know?"

A tanned nose poked about the corner of Felix's bedroom.

She smiled happy to see such an expression on Adam's face. She caressed gently the top of his hand. "I am glad you two are doing good despite the distance."

She heard a noise and turned her head towards the new comer.  

[Azana Brown]

Max was almost entirely de-dotted by this point...but she was also increasingly woozy and fatigued. Maybe it was the adrenaline wearing off...or the magic catching up to her, or losing them in the first place. Hell if she knew; they were alien magical technology to her. Either way, she stopped with the polka dots and lay back on her floor cushions, dozing off almost immediately.

Victoria sipped the cucumber water, looking over to the bronze-skinned woman with mild interest. The gentleman seemed to be happy to see her...and the vampire, too. However, she knew next to nothing of this woman's importance. Given that she asked about so many people, she presumed a regular customer and continued to savor her simple beverage.

Maybe I could lose a few pounds...all that rich food was starting to make me sick, she thought to herself, wondering how long she'd be staying before she found a way to break John's contract and keep her home and business.

Out of Felix's room slipped Malachai, de-demonized for the new people, as he'd caught a sniff of them under the door. He'd chosen a rather dashing shirt and vest ensemble, trying to make a good impression, down to the Romani shades. Giving a wave to Zulma, she saw that she was busy and instead contented himself to look over the new people. One...mmm. Underripe, in parts. The other, all in silvers...

He gave Victoria a look, delicately sniffing. High in iron...clean, though...sushi. He grinned brightly. "Hello!"

Remy grinned, quite chuffed, and glanced to Victoria. "Well well...looks like you're a lucky charm! Our prodigal Innkeeper's arrived!"  

[Azana Brown]

"Greetings," Victoria nodded, setting down her water and looking to Remy for a moment. Innkeeper...? The woman? She didn't want to interrupt the discussion, but she felt it proper to pay her respects. In the meantime, it would be rude to ignore the other.

"And you would be...?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

The tanned man offered a hand, smiling with all of the charm of a Labrador retriever. "I'm Malachai!" he grinned, nodding. "You're new...and you smell nice! What's your name?"  

[Azana Brown]

Victoria hesitantly took his hand, surprisingly warm as it was, and nodded. "Erm, thanks...I'm Victoria." She thought back for a moment; had she worn perfume today? Even so, he had to have an excellent sense of smell to pick up on it by this point.

"Remy and the Rainbow Girl brought me here."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Ah...yeah...I call her Blue Raspberry, myself, but her name's Max." said Mal helpfully, flopping onto the couch as if vaguely unbalanced. "Whatcha doin' here, then, if they brought you? You don't seem like you came all that willingly...maybe a bit tense."  

[Azana Brown]

"I'm not sure where else I would be at this point," Victoria shrugged lightly. "I need somewhere safe while I find a way to outwit a rich and powerful con man. As for my irritation, it was with being hauled to them by a trio of small monstrosities."

"Oh...Ohhhh!" he exclaimed,sitting up. "You're the metal lady they were trying to save! Oh gosh, hi! They saved you with...wait...small...chibis? You mean the chibis?" As he said this, he gave her a look, one filled with concern for her well-being. "You're not hurt?"
