[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Azana Brown]

"Overall, a good couple of weeks or so. Our schedule was put together over the course of a week, so we've been out a few days," he answered calmly, glancing over his shoulder to Remy and Victoria.

"It's nice to see people have been keeping busy in our absence. I'm also sure everyone's happy to be back in time to prepare for whatever Halloween madness ensues this year."

"I don't even wanna hear the H-word," Azana grumbled, walking in and immediately brightening with Zulma's appearance. "Now there's a sight for sore eyes...you have the worst timing, though. I'd almost wish you miss whatever fight we'll have on our hands."

"On the other hand, I believe she'd be eager to join. Innkeeper is only a part-time job, after all."

Sosol, on the other hand, turned his attention entirely to Victoria. She was here...but how? Remy...? Max...she must've...where is she, anyway?

"It's not polite to stare," Victoria muttered into her water. "But it is good to see you again. And the rings...they still resonate so nicely. I'd expect no less."  

[Zulma san]

Zulma turned her head as she heard Azana's voice and immediately stood up, leaving Tyler a moment, to give her a big hug. She waved at Sosol but did not disturb him more as he seemed to know the young woman. "Azana, so good to see you!" She laughed as she seemed unhappy with the approach of Halloween.
To Tyler's comment, her eyes softened and she winked at him. "You know me too well! And protecting the Inn is part of my duty as innkeeper too."
She nudged Azana gently with her elbow. "You and I fought together even before this place existed, do you think I would let you have all the fun." she teased.
Gosh it felt so good to be home.

"Yeah, yeah," Azana chuckled. Zulma had finally gotten around to telling her that part...she had almost forgotten that with everything else that had happened during that year. "Sue a girl for being worried about her friends."

"I wasn't trying to," he answered at last. "How are you doing?"

"A little shaken, surprised to see so many here...and still worried about Mr. Doe and his business contract," Victoria answered with a sideways glance. "I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't break it naturally...sure, he gets my home and my store..." Her hand trembled lightly, and she slapped the other over it.

"This is my fault. I will not burden you with that."

"Just let me know what I need to make...there's rumor of Easter Bunny activity, so I might be sabotaging some Rabbots..."  

[Zulma san]

Zulma grinned at Azana, remembering that they had worked together in the past had created a bound between the brunette and herself in the mind of the innkeeper, as no one else at the Inn knew Zulma before she became the innkeeper. But her expression became more grateful towards Azana and she added. "Thanks."

She sat back by Tyler, tea in hand, listening to him with attention. "The Easter Bunny? Why am I not surprised?!" She shook her head. Part of her hoped that Halloween could be peaceful once, but part of her sadly enjoyed the mayhem that was going to happen and which seemed to give her a purpose for a couple of weeks.
"And I see that I am not the only one who is at the ready." she added with a smile towards Tyler.

"Actually...that matters a lot to us." said Remy, leaning in. "It's not as if he has the right to rule your life, no matter what you did to get into this situation."

"Rings?" hummed Malachai, tail perking.

Adam chuckled, getting Azana some tea. "You look tired...was it a hard test?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Man...it reminds me of when Santa and Jack threw down," Azana hummed, taking up the tea. "Except they were friends...this one's gonna get ugly." She took a long sip, looking to Adam and addressing his question.

"You could say that...my Flight License renewal could've gone better, but the FAST was a blast this year! Tech really outdid himself!" She chuckled, smirking knowingly to the other two.

Tyler glanced away for a moment, his attention back to Zulma and away from Azana and FAST memories. "Because his issues have been triggered over this whole past year? Maybe, if we're lucky, Jack will finish things once and for all, and we can go without Bomb Eggs." He paused, shaking his head and wrinkling slightly with disgust.

"...but then we'd be stuck with Diedrich."

Sosol held up his left hand, pointing to the gold band on the third finger. "Ms. Wesley here made our wedding rings."

"From the same piece of gold," she added with an air of pride in her work. "It's kind of a tradition I have for such pieces..." She tried to ignore Remy and his statement, but she couldn't. Her voice trailed off, and her enthusiasm faded.

"Based on that document, he pretty much does...I was foolish and bewildered by the legal language. Unless I wish to be homeless and destitute, I will complete my commission, or find a way to legitimately make the agreement null and void."

"So it's Halloween versus Easter?" frowned Adam. "I...wow. Well, that Deidrich fellow's not so bad, but I think I'll take the devil I know."

Mal beamed, applauding. "That's amazing! If I ever get married, I'll have you do the rings. Do you do custom kinds?"

Remy hummed. "You know...do you have a copy of this agreement, word for word?"

Lizzy came to shaking her head as if she had been daydreaming. "Ah... i did it again." she muttered to herself and sighed. She had such a terrible habit of doing that. Lizzy folded her arms over her chest and turned toward the door. Knowing her luck she had missed the person she was supposed to meet... whoever that was....  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Did what?" asked Adam politely. "You spaced out a little there...but, who are you waiting for? If it's someone who's here, I can tell you if they're in."

Lizzy turned around startled. She had completely forgotten about blondie behind the counter. "Erm... well i dont know who it is.." She muttered and shrugged. Lord and Lady she must have looked insane at this point. "Just know.. ill know.. when i see them..... i think?..." SHe added the last i think with a tone of uncertainty.

"Ooooh..." he hummed, nodding earnestly. Oddly, there wasn't a drop of judgment in his clear blue eyes, as if the thought would never occur to him that he should be thrown. "Well...there's a few people who came in...do any of them look the part?"

He pointed to the woman in white with blonde hair, a man with salt-and-pepper hair and glasses, a brunet man in sunglasses, and a brown-haired woman in a pixie cut. "Them?"

lizzy took her sweet time looking at every one of them. After a spell she shook her head "nnnope... none of them..." she drew out her words then turned back to the man behind the counter. "I'm Lizzy by the by."

He grinned, smiling like a sunbeam, and offered a hand. "My name is Adam Terrus...it's a pleasure to meet you, Lizzy. Welcome to the Inn of Peace!"

Lizzy smiled back her eyes closing with the gesture.Then opening them she realized he had offered a hand. "Oppsy. sorry..." she muttered before shaking his hand. Her grip kept soft and steady. "Its nice to meet yah Mr. Adam!"

"Oh...just Adam is fine. We're not too formal here." he chuckled genially. "Well, mostly. Oh! It's not Malachai, is it? The guy with white hair, red tips?"

He pointed to the tanned, somewhat oblivious-looking man in a suit, bobbling about the couch area.

"He gets interesting visitors all the time!"
