Zulma chuckled at Angeles's laugh.
She was a little surprised when the vampire announced she was leaving but she smiled and said.
"Bye then, you take care my friend. See you later." she waved as Angeles disappeared and looked in her box.
A robot, shining and all new. Nice.
A little poney, with a missing leg. She hesitated. In the maybe pile. In case they found a leg without a poney!

Holding a pen and paper, Gren wondered a bit about his task for the night. It wasn't his business who was having a bet over what, but for him to be the judge...well, he'd taken more photos in the morning, so he'd gotten his way already. He looked up, and a wide smile broke across his face.
"Zulma!"
Finding her busy, he shrugged, brought her some of the remaining fudge, and set it on a plate, placing it on an endtable next to her with a glass of milk. He'd have to find someone to poll...

Zulma had left for the stand in Barton Town where she had been surprised to meet Karasu. The young Kageko was there too.
As she came in with Karasu's present under her arm, she heard a voice and looked up to find her nose in a plate of fudge.
"Gren!" exclaimed the young lady as she removed her coat.
"How are you my friend?"
((I'll have to go soon, I just left the stand because I am suppose to go to bed...but i saw your post and wanted to answer. smile ))

Zulma hugged the handsome man. "I missed you too. I am so sorry, but they called me in emergency and I had to leave in a rush."
She pointed at the boxes. "I am sorry about the mess."
She blinked at the question. "What...?!" she shrugged. "Because he has red hair and loves fashion? I don't think so. See how he is able to make me blush...and if you were not there...." Zulma winked at Gren.
"I like MacPere very much." the innkeeper was speaking without noticing that MacPere was in the room.

Zulma looked at Gren. "Why do you ask?" she was worried all of a sudden. "Is MacPere alright?" she asked.
"Oh just that..." she opened her arms. "This big mess! We are supposed to collect, sort and ship all the presents for BOO and SIN! Just that!" she looked both annoyed but happy.

"Well, I'm not saying much because I don't know that much. The gist of it, as far as I can tell, is that Macpere and Angeles have a bet going about whether macPere's too in touch with his feminine side. Somehow, they decided that I was an impartial judge and want me to ask people and tally votes. I don't know what happens when whoever wins, but so far, you're the only vote I've gotten."
He scratched the back of his head. "They decided this while I wasn't there...so I'm just kind of...yeah."

Zulma scratched her hair some more. Now she understood Angeles's comment. 'One for me'.
"Hmmm it might not be that easy. I made a stupid joke earlier about MacPere's potential ability at sewing."
Now Zulma felt bad and stupid about that silly joke of hers.
"Angeles might tell you that I vote for MacPere being in touch with his feminine side." she sighed and exploded.
"What a stupid bet anyway!" now her Christmas spirit seemed gone. She sighed heavily several times.
"I refuse to be part of that...stupid..." the innkeeper started rambling. The truth was she found herself stupid.
"Good night!"
She headed for her room without another comment.

MacPere hummed, deciding no more polling could possibly happen tonight with no-one around. He stood from his seat on the stairs and ascended, strolling to his bedroom. As he sorted through the ornaments on his bedside table, he caught a look at himself in the adjacent mirror and slowly approached it, looking at himself.
... Gren preferred him this way...
His brow wrinkled as he smoothed over the shirt, cursing the top for not having a button to cover his chest. He was somewhat uncomfortable but... Whatever Gren wanted, he would give.
