Kenos waited patiently. Taking the tea and gave a bow of gratitude. "Thank you Lin-san." He said. Smelling it as it smelled good. He moved and studied the seat that was indicated before climbing up into it. He lightly blew on the tea so when he took a sip it would not scald his mouth. Sipping at the tea a strange thing occured. Well strange for him. He seemed to momentarily light up with life and delight in his eyes. Then his super soldier dominate mind set pushed it down but a slight smile stayed and lingered for moments longer. Then it was gone. "This is very good. Best tea I've had before. I..." he seemed to try to find the words. "like?....it. I think that is what I wanted to say." He said with a puzzled look for a second.

Nate made his way back into the kitchen and dove headfirst into the large sink, turning on the water on the way.

Lin nodded at Kenos. She seemed satisfied by the fact that he liked the tea "Best?" that puzzled her however. "This is a very humble tea." she added with true modesty.

She blinked as she was surprised that not just one but two people had liked her tea for the first time since she created that blend...and both in the same day!!

Her attention turned back to Malachai as she prepared a second cup for him.
"I understand Malachai-san. My knowledge of Order and Chaos is very minimal, all I learnt, I learnt here at the Inn. I did not mean any disrespect."

Her eyes widened at Malachai's display of something scary. Her hand trembled a little despite herself. She had never seen him in demonic form before.

Licking his lips, he shrugged, grinning a bit. "I'm way cool." he retorted, rumpling the elf girl's hair. "Don't worry about it, Lin...I've just lived a long time, and seen different things. After all...I'm only just barely learning how to make tea, and you're a brewmistress."

Zippo peered at the elf, giving a chittering clicking growl of curiousity. Striding forward, the half-raptor snsiffed her knee, tiny tail parked, tuft of feathers at the tip waving. Food?

Lin bowed at Kenos's compliment, slightly embarrassed but did not say a word. She heard water noise coming from the kitchen where the giant bird had disappeared and hoped that everything was alright for the creature.

She placed her other hand on her trembling one and looked at Malachai.
"Forgive me Malachai-san, I had never seen that ...side of yours." she admitted with an apologetic nod.
She was grateful for his kindness but the dark eyes she had seen in him still troubled her. She shook her head ever so slightly. The inn was indeed a very strange place.
"This place is for sure the most unique Inn I have ever stayed at." she whispered as if to herself.

Zippo grinned, teeth razor-sharp. "Haiiiii, reiidii. Yuu fuudo?"

Malachai pouted a bit, rather sympathetic. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be actually scary." he admitted, glancing away. "I thought I'd kept it light. I'd never be scary for you, Lin!"

Mikila was going to guess that first word was Zippo saying hi back. She smiled at him. Staring with a head tilt at the sharp teeth. Ouchies...he had knifies in his mouth. She didn't understand the second word. Though fuudo sounded a bit like food. Yuu sounded like you. She was going to have to guess and assume he thought she was food. Fuudo sounded like it. "No. I'm not edibles. Well...I suppose I could be to some things. I'm not food though." She said. "I am a kid and friend." She said with a giggle and a smile. Looking at Zippo. She was guessing on what he was saying. She looked around. "Are you hungwy? The grownups make yummy food."

Nate cautiously stepped back into the room and tiptoed towards the stairs. He knew that hungry chibi was around somewhere and wasn't about to be made a meal of. He was an eater, not one who was eaten.
