[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

Malachai chuckled, taking the chicken in hand and toasting it with a spurt of hellfire. "Good?"

Adam sighed slowly, imagining the sight. "I bet he looks wonderful...I've been following his tour and shows online, and there's just such passion in him...you have such a beautiful family, Felix. I'm so glad that I'm welcome with you."

Violet was focused now, deciding after some thought to make a tiger. A panther would use too much ink, and the lion just seemed lazy. She had already outlined the stripes.

Kristen carefully approached Malachai and Abigail, not wanting to interfere with dinner but at least wanting to greet the Horseman properly.

Terry didn't quite know what the big deal was with the fox, though he vaguely remembered mentions of her from the very first time he was here. They were getting ready to go up against that Hell Warden guy, the one with the freaky soul chain.

Lin snapped him out of it, however, and he pointed to the bottle. "Sorry...we kind of helped ourselves. We didn't want to interrupt, you know?"

Tyler was perfectly content to stay away from all that, instead standing from his previous seat and moving to look over Max's shoulder. She had kind of taken that whole case on herself...and where was Victoria in all this?

Jeff was probably as focused as Violet. He was leaning as close as he could trying to see what she was drawing. Their heads were almost touching, but he was not realizing it.



A familiar scent came to Lin and she turned slightly her head, in time to see Kyou moving back to a more peaceful corner of the room.

When Terry answered, Lin looked at the bottle. There was a pause then she bowed, hands properly placed on her laps. "I understand. I am sorry that I was not more helpful." she apologized politely. She looked at Terry, her silver eyes blinking. "I believe we have not been properly introduced. I am Lin." she said calmly.

Abigail nodded happily, taking the chicken between her paws and tearing off little chunks and scarfing them down, purring in delight.

Felix smiled. "You are welcome, Adam, but just remember what we've talked about before. You are to take thijhs very slow with Enta. If any memories were to coke back of what happened before..." he cringed a little, "Then both Hana and I would have a lot of explainng to do." Speaking of the troublemaker, Felix had not seen Hana since his return. He wondered what trouble the self-destructive split had gotten himself into.

Malachai chuckled, petting the horseman's head and scratching an ear. She seemed much happier, and that pleased him thoroughly.

Adam nodded in earnest. "We've done nothing riskier than share a bed." he swore. "I can't say I know exactly what went on with him and Enra, so I can't promise that there's no random trigger I could step on...but so far, he's not gotten any headaches, or flashbacks, or had a single question!"

Abigail licked Malachai's fingers before returning to her chicken.


Felix hummed, drinking his coffee slowly. "I understand, but I will not let him be hurt on purpose again."

He nosed her slightly, and heated more chicken.

Adam nodded, getting himself a coffee as well, serving one to the bat. "Here, sir."

Looking back to Felix, he sighed. "I...do you think he'll ever be okay?"

She cooed in appreciation, very pleased with the demon.

The bat cooed, sipping at his drink with a chirr of delight.

Felix shook his head slowly. "Will any of us ever be okay?" he sighed. "Not to be dramatic, but what my family has gone through is not something to be forgotten easily. All I can do is try to make Enta's life easier... Hana's as well."

Mal sniffed after Pestilence curiously. "What brings you, sire?"

Shaking his head, the blond had a sip to think over. "Where is Hana, anyway?"

He pulled his head out of the coffee mug, licking his nose. "I felt like tagging along with my big sister. I figured perhaps someone may need to... Be taken care of. A good comorbidity of scarlet fever and scurvy can make anyone rethink their tresspasses." he grinned.

He sighed and shrugged. "I have no idea, really. The troublemaker never stays in touch, but I did get a call from a rehab clinic whilst I was in Norway..."

"Awww, don't do that...She was just trying to save the man she loves." pouted Malachai. "Felix'd be sad if Charlotte was sick."

Adam paused, brow furrowing in worry. "Really?"

He stuck out his split tongue with an exaggerated BLUH. "Have you ever tried to infect a chaos entity? Bubonic plague turns into hypertrichosis and chicken pox becomes galucoma... It takes all the fun out of it, really." he dipped a wing claw into the coffee, "I leave other immortals to my sisters. My brother and I are more fit to deal with mortals."

He nodded and sighed deeply. "No matter what, Hana never listens to me. He needs someone to keep him grounded, and with my being away all of the time, I can't always be around to tell him to just suck it up."

Mal chuckled. "I guess I haven't...beings like them are kind of above my position to hunt, you know. And I've never tried infecting anyone with anything, not on purpose."

"I wish I could be better help...maybe he needs a guy like you?"

Layla hadn't come down in awhile. She'd been trying to practice with her skills. She just didn't know who she could train with. Then all these people kept coming and going. It had sounded hectic so she stayed upstairs. Now that it seemed to have calmed down she decided to peek in and see if it was calmer. She was still getting over that bunny cult thing. That had been scary. She did not want to go through anything like that again. She walked downstairs slowly. Her green bunny looking thing following her. Yet she didn't bring her tiger plushie. Not this time. She was trying to branch out without it. It was her safety net and though it wouldn't happen often yet she was doing the whole sticking the foot in the water thing. She peered around the wall into the main room. Slowly heading out there and taking a seat at the bar. Everyone seemed in the midst of conversation...she'd not bother them. She had gotten a tiny bit more control over the pyrokinetics. Now she didn't...mostly...emotion react with it. That was...about it.

Plague shrugged. "Not everyone is built for the same thing."

Felix stifled a laugh. "He despises authority figures. A guy like me would just drive him insane."
