"Sure..." Violet grinned. "It could be fun..." She closed her sketchbook and set it aside. "The question is, what can we all agree on?"
"Okay, so perhaps something not very sweet..." Sosol thought for a moment. "Perhaps a proper margarita...some people like them very sweet, but a traditional one is tart due to the citrus, and the whole glass is rimmed with salt." He looked to her, the question in his eyes. Did she want to give it a try? "It's very versatile, like the martini."
Azana chuckled...seeing him like this, his mind completely taken off whatever he Saw, made her quite happy. Well, that and the slight flush from a well-prepared drink. This side of him was one that she had fallen for years ago...not the Oracle, not the defender, just being his kind and joyful self.
Terry glanced to the shadowy figure. Not in the traditional sense, but more literal. "Check over a cleric...? Well, I've got a girlfriend who knows her way around a unicorn's horn. It'll heal just about anything that ails you, and if you're hexed, she's good with that, too." Speaking of which, Stella still hadn't joined them in the main room, and it had been days. Was she still resting, or what?
Orrin grew a little winded, taking his seat again as Charlotte danced...whatever she thought about being a 'villain', that was going to change, too. After all, wasn't there a Balance between Order and Chaos, too? They would never get along, obviously, but why not coexist in mutual hatred? Or something like that...he was still getting the hang of this.
And, in a seeming instant, it all melted away, between his own decision and Zulma's undeniable allure. He could feel her hand pressing his to the mattress, the radiating heat from her cheeks (or maybe it was his; it was hard to tell at this point), and that unexplainable magnetism urging him to be as close to her as humanly possible. As her lips opened, he teasingly nipped at the bottom one before pressing on. All that time between the summer and now seemed only seconds, like they had simply picked up where they left off. And no distractions to be had this time.
Max rubbed her eyes, a satisfied smile as she closed the concussion-weight contract. "...it's shady, but it could work..."

Celine blinked, confused. It had all been so fast. No weapon? "Oh? Well...hmmm...anyway!" she chuckled. Then she grinned. "You cannot comply with that? Such a shame..." she sighed. She bite her lips. "Ooooh but there is a purpose...you are just too...stupid to see it..." she grinned again then winked at Kenos before being swept away by Jacoda. "Hey there. You are quite...close..." she flushed slightly, blue eyes gazing upon his face. "Oh course Sir Pirate! I am a Lady, don't you forget!" she stuck her tongue out at him, then pulled away. "I am thirsty." she declared, casting a side look at Kenos then looking back at Jacoda. "I think you know the way..." she teased him before following him into the main room. She would have fun with Kenos later, she was not done with him.
---- Lin was momentarily distracted from Sosol by Amir's mention of a very unique tea. "Lavender and ginseng...in green tea." she watched him go to take some rest, still puzzle. What an odd mix.
Back to Sosol, she listened carefully to him. She was very grateful of the effort he was making to train her. She was even touched by his gesture. She felt selfish for asking so much time and for having him try to cater to her own taste. Yet, it felt appropriate at the same time. When he asked her if she was willing to try, the woman had a very feint smile on her thin lips. "I am quite fond of citrus, I would be delighted. Thank you Sosol-sensei." she answered. The bartender's happiness in sharing his trade was definitely reaching the teamaster.
Jeff's face brightened. "Well hmmm...monopoly? No you are too young Shrimp. Some yatzee? Or maybe pictionary?!" his last idea seemed to please him. That way Violet could train, even Shrimp could play and him...well...he would do his best. His forest green eyes traveled to Violet's soft face and he smiled then looked away.

"But she doesn't like drawing..." Violet answered, half-frowning despite Jeff's adorable bashfulness. "It is winter...maybe we can make a snowman together...?"
Orrin glanced up to the bartender, tempted to order a couple drinks for himself and Charlotte...but seeing his gleeful lesson to Lin, he pushed himself to his feet and went to get it himself. He didn't want to interrupt, and he wasn't *that* put out to fetch water.
Sosol nodded. "It's no problem at all, Lin." You're helping me just as much, even if you don't realize it... He pulled out a bottle of golden-colored liquid alongside a bottle of lime juice and a couple other ingredients. "This one has its roots in Mexico...everyone's put their spin on it, but original is the best, if you ask me. We'll start with the measuring, but you'll need a shaker..."
Terry frowned at the gentleman, clearly exhausted despite claiming to be healed. He finished his drink and went upstairs to look for his girlfriend...maybe she was well enough to help.

"He considered it generosity and chivalry, I'm certain," Victoria answered, sipping the tea and reveling in its purity and plainness. "All he asked was my hard work...of course, I had plenty of incentive, given his very binding contract."
"I've Seen it, but no...I haven't had a chance to visit. It may be an idea for our next trip, dear," he glanced with a smile over to Azana. "Anyway, this cocktail is typically shaken to mix and poured over ice, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Follow my measurements carefully, or adjust as you'd like. As long as it's close to the ratio, you should be fine."
One by one, the ingredients went into the shaker. Sol hadn't paid this much attention to measuring in quite some time. It just came intuitively after the first few months.
Azana chuckled, nodding in agreement. Mexico could be fun...lots of beaches and sunshine, not to mention the exchange rate.
Violet had bundled up in surprisingly short order, rather used to wearing layers and covering skin. "I'm ready...just let me help Mikila with this mitten. I'm surprised we could find things in her size."
"Hon...?" Terry knocked on the door as he entered, closing it behind him. "It's been days...are you doing alright...?"
Stella spun around from the screen, bright eyed with a joyous smile across her face. She was dressed, with makeup and everything...far better than Terry had assumed. She jumped from the chair, rushing across the room to meet him with a kiss. "Seven," she breathed, chuckling despite herself. "Seven...!"
"Seven...?" He glanced past her, noticing she had her e-mail open. "Oh...! Oh, wow!! Really?" He beamed, squeezing her tightly in congratulations. "Then you're really well qualified to help out...there's someone downstairs you need to see."
Orrin knelt next to the couch, holding out a glass of water. "Indulge me in some hydration...?"

Orrin sat on the floor, leaning against the couch and looking to Charlotte. "I know better than to worry about you dancing," he retorted, though he was admittedly relieved to see her down almost the whole glass. "I'm just happy to see you back to normal. Well, your normal. I don't want to insult you like that."
"...so, he's been healed, but he feels drained the more he does?" Stella summed it up as best she could. Without actually seeing him, she didn't have much to go on. "I'm assuming it's not normal exhaustion, either."
"Yeah," Terry nodded. "That's about it. He's worried it could be a hex or something. Besides, I know you've been wrapped up in office work; wouldn't you actually like to be a witch for a while?"
"Heh...you know me," she replied, tapping her hairstick wands lightly. "I'm always ready to make some magic."

(Sorry that I haven't been on lately...work's been a stress, and my car died...it's been a mess.)
"Oh, sweetie..." she sighed, grinning as she propped her cheek in her chin. "You should always know that when you say such things, I will always consider myself to be the exception, and that you'll never, ever, be presumed toward insult."
She then kissed his crown. "Have you seen your new self yet? Your hair is very pretty, and you look like a swashbuckler."
Bill smiled benignly, taking a chance and laying his hand atop hers. "At least, on my part, you may consider it done."
