The masked man snapped his mask's gaze in Malachai's direction, moving closer.

"...you... you...!"

His hands began to raise, as if he was being held up by robbers. He held them above his head, like the end of someone yelling Goal!

"You are... not of this world...!"

The man got to his feet, reaching into his jacket, speeding towards the man as his hand emerged at lightning speed--

"Fred Davidson, Voodoo Specialist. For all your curse and hex needs, also available to cure small maladies, or work birthday parties. 30$ an hour, satisfaction guaranteed or your money back."

What he'd produced was his business card, all of what he'd just said written on it, as well as a website and a phone number.

As he was approached, malachai hunkered in his seat slightly, wings tucking a bit in apprehension. However, at the business card's presentation, he relaxed slightly Taking the card, he sniffed it over before offering one of his own. Felix had ordered fresh business cards, and Malachai had insisted on having some for himself.

"Malachai, Incubus." he grinned. The card had his 'name', full demonic title, and half of his summoning incantation. "I like your face."

A rumble came from upstairs of a window being thrown open, followed by the sound of someone hitting the ground and taking off through the woods.

Violet flinched at the sudden approach of a very, very strange man, visibly relaxing as he turned his attention somewhere else. She began to sketch to calm down, winding up with pinned dolls in the corner of her paper. Whatever worked, she supposed.

"No...it's simply an acc--" She looked over as the man approached, not concerned with her fork still at her side. She was deadly with a fork, especially when it was no longer so. However, it simply came to introductions, and she pulled out a business card of her own.

Three Valleys Jewelry
Victoria Wesley, Proprietor

The masked man looked at the card that was being offered back to him, tilting his head backwards, and then bringing it forwards. This was the closest thing he could manage to a nod, seeing as the mask made that a little difficult.

"Glad to meet you, Malachai. You seem sharp. And smell like fire. And sweets. I can get things mixed up though."

He jittered slightly when he heard the crashing above, and the slight thud of the said body landing outside. He would have gotten up to check, but the sound of footsteps afterwards settled him down.

"Man... do they not have bathrooms around here? Whoever that was seemed eager for some privacy... And ohh, a jewelry shop? I should visit.."

Mal whuffled a moment. "Remy. He's all right, but he's a little panicked...must be something important." he hummed, nibbling the business card. "What d'you want with a demon like me, anyhow, Mr Fred? We're not good for much but a good time..."

He offered Victoria a grin and fiddles with his bracelet, still enamoured.

Fred sat back and took his own business card that he'd gotten from the demon, fiddling it about on his "face", which was looking more like he was tickling it up his "nose".

"Sounds like you get all kinds around here... I don't judge."

He leaned forward and laid the side of his head on one hand, the elbow meeting his knee as he kept turned up towards Malachai a bit.

"And nothing specifically with you, just working for work really. Gotta keep myself out there. Voodoo doesn't exactly speak for itself, all the time."

He sighed, looking over the other's card and studying it, then looked him over with a slight tilt of his mask.

"And being an... incubus? How is that paying off for you?"

"We do." he nodded, pocketing his new friend's business card. "And it doesn't. Right now, I'm trying out monogamy...it's not bad, maybe a little kinky, but kinda lonesome right now...my sweetie's gone on business. But an oath's an oath, so that's that!"

He loked over the voodoo practitioner with a hum, perking up. "Oooh! I remember seeing a movie where a man turned a man into a frog and there was a lady frog! Can you make the dolls dance and your mask sing?"
PostPosted: Tue Apr 22, 2014 10:08 pm
"Monogamy? For a demon? That seems a bit strange... And it's unfortunate that you should be so lonesome, but good for you, stickin' to your oath, ya big lugnugget."

The man chuckled, shaking his head as he mirrored the pocketing.

"Pfft, I'm a grown man, no need to play with dolls here... But I do do a bit of the shadowy stuff~"

Though his first moments had been somewhat hard to interpret, his overall character seemingly out of the pocket, there was a clear passion, an excitement as he started to get on his knees and pull off his large snow jacket. Inside it was an attache, which he'd apparently held against his back inside, but he flipped it open with all the enthusiasm of a child with a board game.

"Could call on my "friends from the other side," if that's what you're wanting. Akse might make dolls dance and he's made my mask sing before, but... I kinda had a nightmare or two after that. Heeeeepies."

He started to pull a few materials, including a long staff, pulled out in a Mary Poppins' fashion from the small case, which he set apart on the ground.

"And... bleh, can't do chalk, I don't think not around here... I'll just use the mat, thought I don't like the paper crinkling, takes away the effect..."

He started to take what looked like... was that a Twister mat? Ah, he began to flip it over, showing an ornate circle of runes and ancient words, which he stood on in his socks now. Underneath his jacket he'd been wearing an argyle sweater vest and a long sleeve dress shirt, and he now took up the staff to look like absolutely nothing that anyone could relate to anything.

"Think this should do... Ah..."

(To the bedsheets I must depart. For Target art mine next arrow's mark to try to shoot for work on the morrow.)

He turned over towards the demon, begging an answer with a hand motion.

"What's ah... Think of something you want right now."

He did his best to omit the usual obscene imagery that regularly drifted about his mind and imagined Felix.

A flash of light outside the Inn's window heralded an extremely determined (and now labcoat-free) mad scientist's entrance. He scanned the crowd, finally finding a sketching Violet.

"Who is the woman who works with metals?" He asked plainly, but quietly, not really wanting to involve himself in whatever was going on with the strange masked man.

Violet looked up to Tyler, gazing at his face and frowning at the puzzlement, concern, and barely contained fury. And...was that...? She shrugged it off, pointing over to a grey girl on the edge of the very colorful demonstration. At the mat with the symbols, she edged a bit closer, curious about its elaborate scribbles.

Victoria had moved seats, though not too far away, to watch this man's supposed Voodoo show. Someone approached briskly, and her hand clenched around the fork.

"Relax, I'm not after you," he muttered. "Who did you work for?"

"...John Doe. Why...?" She asked, setting it down and looking up at him.

"Because my best friend's hospitalized, and I'm guessing that's the last person she saw," he answered bitterly before swallowing it and offering a polite nod. "Thank you for your help."

Malachai flicked his tail in a greeting wave to Tyler, focused on the magic show.

The masked man started to reach to the skies, and then backwards, bending over and nearly falling off the mat. He caught his balance, clearing his throat, then began to hold the staff in both hands, knocking it down against the center of the circle as he started into a rhythm. He began to mumble something under his breath, stepping from side to side, to and fro with the knocks... which were overall getting louder, almost rude to the other people that were there. But every knock seemed to make something awaken in the circle's design, like watching the ripples in a glass of water. THUMPhuooooo. THUMPhuooooo. And finally he brought it up, pausing.

"Daggit, um... Ah."

He remembered what the next word in the incantation was and brought the stick down. The end broke as it met the floor, the rattlestick breaking at the area right below where his lowest hand was holding it. Which resulted in a 'd'oh!' from Fred, but very much creating an effect. Black shot up from the runes, swirling above in a mass like a solid cloud,

"Ahhh, yeeeep, yep, that's how it goes."

He pulled out a notebook, taking down something. He didn't want to forget it again, that would be a hit at parties, for sure. A voice would pour out of the circling black halo as he was scribbling.

"Mortal... you dare ignore--"

"Like five seconds, I promise I'll be right with you..."

"--what, you... ugh, fine."

Fred finally finished his notes, clearing his throat as he started up his mantra and stage persona again.

"Spirits of the shade, of the bog and tree and world beyond--"

"Goddammit Fred, you broke the stick again?"

"Dude, come on, I'm in the middle of the seance!"

A sound like exasperation from the otherworldly voice.

"I heard, I heard, here...

The dark halo started to slip around in the air, discombobulating until it started to come together in the form of a... person? It had changed colors and such, matching the white hair of the individual and long lankiness, but it was looking more like something a child would have crafted out of playdoh. Nevertheless, Fred splayed his arms backwards and bent in the same direction back.

"Myyyyyyysterrrrriiiiiiiieeeesss!!"

The door to the main room was pushed open, a large and familiar cat man in a cream and tan argyle sweater and deep brown slacks, shoes of a dark italian leather and shined to perfection. In each arm, the massive man carried at least two full suitcases, a rolling bag being tugged along by his silken long-furred white tail.

At the giant's hip strode a small, tan, blnde figue, slight of curves and decked in a delightful black and teal outfit. His white tail, not as fluffy as the larger's, swayed gently, glimmering with dainty silver chains. High heels clicked lightly, his stride confident and poised. He smiled to the room, voice chiming like a crystal bell in spring. "Hello."

The larger flashed the demon a shark-toothed smile. "Afternoon."
PostPosted: Thu Apr 24, 2014 4:07 pm
Malachai stared a bit at the illusion, tail swaying curiously. He was awwwwfully flippant with the voodoo spirits, it seemed, but his smile was bright at the vague familiarity of the white hair.

That is, of course, until the selfsame man walked into the room.

Gaping, Mal stared between the voodoo man and Felix. He'd never doubt this man's abilities again. "Th...thank you..!"

Leaping up, he let his chair fall with a clatter, wings spread to sugar glide into a tight hug and warbled wibbly delight. "FelixfelixfelixfelixdidthesummoninghurtohmanFELIIIIX"

Following in with the rest of the luggage came a blond man with a sweet smile and a remarkably fashionable ensemble, from his bow tie to sweater vest. "Home at last...hello, everyone!"

Felix leaned down a little, nuzzling into the demon's hair. "What summoning, darling?" He asked in his soft rumble.

Enta stepped back, hooking his arm through Adam's. "So glad to be back." He sighed happily.

Felix looked back up at the strange new man. "Evening."
