[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

He laughed warmly. "Well, yeah...I didn't mean right now; breakfast is more important than my silly ideas. I don't even have an idea in mind, really...I just like what you draw, and how you draw it. So, I suppose you could just draw me whatever you like, and I'd be satisfied."

Azana stretched as she strolled downstairs, still riding the high of a very fun visit to her in-laws. Gren seemed to have had a good time, too...all part of the plan, honestly. He needed to get out more. She did, too, in some ways, but hey. That's what friends were for.

There to greet her was the sight of a rather odd couple: Charlotte, hair let fly into a cloud of curls, chatting with a rainbow-clad boy, who was hopping from foot to foot in rocket rollerblades.

"But Hyper-"

"Luigi!"

"No. Your name isn't Luigi. Don't forget who you are."

"I know, I know. But Luigi's a fun name!"

She sighed, rubbing her temples. "That can be your nickname. Your nice special nickname. Just, just remember who you are, where you came from, and who you were?"

"Yes."

"All right, Hyper?"

"Yes'm."

Azana blinked in surprise at the two, though by now she really should've known not to be surprised by anything in the presence of Charlotte. She let them finish their conversation, approaching only after there seemed to be a lull.

"Hey," she greeted with a casual wave, focusing mostly on Charlotte to avoid the blinding neon rainbow that the other (Hyper, aka Luigi?) had decided to make his uniform. Max was colorful, but she wasn't actively trying to blind people. "I haven't seen you around in a bit...how's everything?"

"Ah? Good mooooorning, Azana!" cheered Charlotte, tossing her hands in the air in greeting. "I've been well, and you?"

"Ihaveanewname"

"Nickname."

"nickname"

Charlotte sighed, shaking her head. "Someone gave him a name, and it's stuck...sorry. Hyper, go, ah....go find Fee."

"FEE" cheered the spirit, sailing out through the wall.

She sighed after him, then smiled to her friend. "We'll get it sorted. What's new with you?"  

[Azana Brown]

"It's been a good summer so far," Azana nodded. "Sol and I had a great visit with the in-laws, and we dragged Gren out for the ride. I think he had fun, too." She poured herself an iced tea from a pitcher; while the Drinkamajig was a thing of wonder, Sol's sun tea always won out.

"Unfortunately, I heard that Max was laid up in the hospital for a bit, but it sounds like she's making a speedy recovery. Remy's sticking to her."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"He did." smiled Gren, strolling in from the kitchen. "Thank you, really...I needed that."

Charlotte smiled, then sat up a bit. "Max was in the hospital? How come?"

Gren frowned, worried, if not a bit guilty for being so out of his own loop.  

[Azana Brown]

"I don't really know the details, unfortunately, but she's fine," Azana reassured them. "I wasn't exactly at the top of the phone tree; I heard from Chris while he was trying to investigate it." She shrugged; while she and Max were close, she understood that the boyfriend, the best friend, and superheroes made better contacts.

"As I said, though, Remy's been by her side the whole time. I'd hate to see the a*****e who tried to cross him, heh."

Violet came down, hearing the tail end of things while hugging a sketchbook. She noticed the group and smiled gently before sitting down and getting to work. Her first commission!

Gren shook his head a bit, smiling slightly. "Well...as long as she's all right, then, I guess that's what matters most. Hey, Violet!"

Charlotte frowned, squinting an eye and arching its opposite's brow. "That explains a lot of Hyper's jabbering, then...going on about Player One and colours and magic katamari shields."  

[Azana Brown]

"...wait, he was there...?" Azana blinked in disbelief. "He would've been helpful before. Chris was really racking his brain trying to find out what all happened. Ah, well. It's all good. Max is stabilized, Victoria's room is apparently cleaned out...so, whatever she did worked."

"Hi, Gren," she greeted with a smile, looking to the other two as well. "I saw Victoria leave. She was a little sad...but I think she really wanted to go back to work. Adam and I are going to visit her someday soon...you can come, too, if you want." She began a basic sketch, something floral and earthy.

"Apparently. I can call him back down here, if you want to talk to him about it." Charlotte snickered. "All you'll get is that she took too big a power-up and it summoned him, something something contract, something-blahblah Wallace-Didn't-Look-Like-A-Deer, and I guess she called him Luigi and he took a shine to that. We'd be better off asking her personally."

"Did she?" he hummed, thinking a moment. "Well, maybe we should bring her something, as a sort of 'welcome back to work' gift."  

[Azana Brown]

Azana chuckled at the recount. "That's about all I really needed to know...though, Luigi? Does that make Max Mario now?" Those were some interesting implications. How would she adjust to simple red and blue?

"I'd like that," she nodded. "Besides, being closed so long...some of her customers might think she's out for good...oh!" She got a sudden idea and flipped the page, beginning to draw with a fervor not seen in weeks. It was simple, so simple...and yet....!

"I know what to bring her, Gren. What she needs..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Apparently. Though..." Charlotte hummed, considering this open opportunity, "Does that make me Princess Peach, or Bowser? Daisy? Rosalina, or whoever she was with the stars?"

"YOSHI!"

"Yes, Zippo, you'd be Yoshi~"

Gren couldn't help but crane his neck slightly to watch. "And what would that be?"  

[Azana Brown]

"I think Daisy suits you best," Azana nodded. "Spunky and playful...Rosalina's too calm for you. Maybe Orrin, or his double."

"To send a message!" Violet beamed, the design filling the page with basic shapes so far. "She needs a poster or an ad, letting everyone know she's back in business...luckily she happens to know an artist or two, and a walking hype machine."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Oh, uh...hm. Does he have one, now?" she goggled, scratching her head. "I thought they kinda fused, but I dunno...Order people are weird, and now he's a whole new mess of eggs. A lovely one, one I don't have to worry about making ill, but it's still all the joy of recalibration, yeah?"

He clapped his hands together, grinning. "You're right! A fresh new start, a grand opening announcement...maybe a party?"
