"... You really don't trust me, do you?" MacPere sighed with a laugh, walking over to a bar stool and seating himself. "I mean it, Angeles. I know you would probably have had me parade around naked or something... but I prefer to be a gentleman. I can't treat a lady that way, now can I?"

Iri took an unsteady breath. Usually she just toughed these things out on her own, but she had angered Illuser this time. "I should introduce myself first. I'm Iri. And you are?" Silently, Iri marveled this woman's kindness. Almost everyone else she knew would shoo her away like a pesky bug.

"No," said Angeles leaning over the table and resting her arm on it, "I don't trust you. It come from years of being stabbed in the back. No, the only thing I can trust you with is that if I were to ever threaten anyone but you, you would shoot me."
Angeles bowed her head so that her face was hidden by the brim of her hat, then she looked up beneath it smiling deviously and said, "and i wouldn't have made you walk around naked. However, in Zulma's dress, that's what I had in mind."
Angles then turned her chair so that she could lean against the table and laced her fingers together, her expression falling slightly, "though, my friend, I must tell you something. You should never change yourself for someone else, especially not a lover. For a lover should like you just the way you are and desire nothing more or nothing less than that."
This she had learned from Lucifer personally, as he had refused to make her into a vampire.

"... We'll continue this another time." Ale said as the girl didn't answer, and then returned her atention to what she was doing. This teddy bear had more work to be done than the last one.

Angeles turned and laid her head on the table, taking her hat off and laying it beside her. She closed her eyes and sighed before opening them again. For the first time in many years the glint of her wedding ring had caught her eye. She stared at it for a while before closing her eyes again.

" Do you think kids will like a centaur doll? " Ale asked, to no one is particular. She had found out a barbie doll with no legs and the headless horse and had an idea.
Only then she noticed that, besides her, no one else was taking care of things. That was not very nice... she spotted Angeles sitting at her usual table, lost in her thoughts. " Hum..." Ale knew better than to invade her personal space. So, began working on her idea. Just to see how it would look like.

"Sure," said Angeles from her table, "make a centaur doll. There are not enough representations of the other races on Gaia in my opinion," she wanted to help, but MacPere's request of her was to rest. Even more than wanting to help she wanted to go out and practice flying the space craft some more but that was not happening either. She sighed and lightly thumped her head against the table. the only thing that could make this worse was if Erik came out of the shadows.

"you're right about that" Ale answered to Angeles comment. " When I was little, I had a dragon doll. Very pretty, with big wings and a long tail, made of a translucent material..." she wondered what had happened to the doll, since she hadn't brought it with her. "Well, this is done" she said, felling proud of her unusual creation.

Zulma came in. She quickly closed the door behind her, Baldur sliding behind her.
"Brrr... this is so cold outside." she said to herself. Baldur seemed to agree for he rushed to the rug by the fire.
Turning, she noticed Ale and Angeles. "Hey there! How are you? I brought some more." she lighted her hands full of plastic bags with new and slightly damaged toys.

Angeles looked up and rested her elbows on the table and looked at the doll from where she was sitting, "very nice," she said and tilted her head slightly, perhaps you can find a shirt for it off one of the barbies that have been thrown into the fuel pile?"

Kageko walked down the stairs, her head still hurting. To top things off, she also had a sore throat now. She did her best to look perfectly fine, and it worked. However, her voice gave it away. "Hey!" she said in a hoarse voice. "Oops," she thought to herself, she hadn't expected her voice to be affected as well.

"Hi!" Ale greeted both women, as they came in sight. " Just leave the stuff there, I'll get to it in a minute. " And noticed the change in Kageko's voice. "You caught a cold..." she said to the girl, stating the obvious.

Zulma heard poor Kageko. "My oh my! No more staying to help at the stand for you. I feel bad that you stayed so long with Celine. Let me prepare some hot tea with honey for everyone who wants and for you in particular!"
Zulma removed her coat and headed for the counter to prepare some water.

"Hello Zulma," unfortunately, also because of MacPere's condition, Angeles could not follow through with her plan for Baldur. Angeles groaned and slid up onto the table and curled, almost like a cat, on top of it. This also effectively hid the carved wood away from Zulma.
