Zulma was confused, she sighed. "Well maybe you should just...seat on the floor...by the fire to stay warm. Let me know if you need anything."
With that piece of advice, she went on to the kitchen to check on the pasta and cook the meat.
She had noticed that Asanhi had changed place and was a little surprised.
"Do you want to eat at the bar?" she questioned as she entered the kitchen and propped the door open so that she could speak at the same time.

Kiba grew to his full size. He didn't light the flames so he wouldn't burn them. Ultima placed his hands were the muscles creased. He offered his hand. "Remember to hold on tight." He advised.

Zefi just watched everyone thinking of things to do until Zrenni woke up. Of course she would go back to bed soon unless something important happened. She had already bought everyone's gifts and they were hidden deep in the closet to be put under the tree on the 24th, so no one could peek at them. Gifts brought her back to her birthday almost one month ago and she though of Jeff. Where was he?

"The bar?" asked Bladur and in his mind a bold horizontal line popped up in his head. He then looked around and found what could possible be the bar. he had never seen anyone eat there before, only drink, "no," he said and turned into the kitchen, "I'll eat sitting on the floor, it's what I'm used to," he watched Zulma for a bit before getting a glass and filling it with water.

Zulma was even more surprised by his answer.
'No' was not surprising at all, but eating on the floor?!
The innkeeper almost burnt one of the steaks, luckily she did not mind well-cooked.
"On the floor?" she echoed. "But...we...we have chairs and tables..." she blinked very confused.
She tired to find a way to have the handsome man at a table.
"Maybe you would accept to join me at a table?" she offered with hopeful eyes.
His steak was almost ready and she had strained the pasta.

Jeff walked in the Inn. He was loaded with huge bags of presents in more or less good shape.
He sighed as he gently put his bags on the floor.
"Pff...here some more work." he said to himself.

Baldur looked at Zulma as she spoke. He wanted to refuse but thought that he may as well at least try to go along with Angeles' plan, "I suppose...," he said looking at the ground quickly thinking of an excuse, "you must understand that where I'm from we are more of a simple people. We don't have tables, chairs, electricity," he looked up at the lights and hummed wondering if Zulma would buy that story.

Zefi looked at Jeff from her table by the window and tried not to stare. It had been a while since she had seen him. She could hear her heart in her ears. Fudge... she couldn't like him that much... no they were just friends... right? She felt herself blush and felt the heat with her heartbeat and made herself look out the window again.

Zulma was happy that Asanhi joined her, although he did not seem very enthusiast about it. She bite her lips, maybe she should not have refused his way of eating?
She was truly surprised as he spoke of his country. "Really?" she exclaimed. The most surprising for her were the tables and chairs.
As she served two plates and grabbed silverware, she got an idea. Holding one plate and set of silverware in each hand, she exited the kitchen.
"I think I have a better idea. Let's eat on the floor by the fire." She was smiling at the tall man as she passed him and headed for the carpet. She sat there with her plate and waited for Asanhi to join her extending his plate in front of him.

Jeff noticed Zefi as he removed his coat. He had a shy smile and looked at his feet. He had not seen her since her birthday and he did not know if she liked his present...
Gathering his courage, he walked over her. Catching himself at the last minute as he was about to bow at her, he just gave a soft nod.
"Good evening Lad-...Zefi." he corrected himself.
