Zulma shook her head at Ultima. "I am fine, thank you."
She frowned at Legend. There was no fire.
"Don't worry Legend, everything in under control." she thought that the man had probably noticed Alexander making some testing with ropes and fire outside.
As she noticed Asanhi, she blinked, her cheeks taking a pinker tone. She wanted to apologize for her behavior of the previous day but did not know how.
His comment cheered her up. "Thank you."
She took a wide dish with the waffles and put it on the main table in the main room.
"Hey everyone, help yourself with waffles. Syrup and silverware are here." she put everything on the table and retreating behind the counter, trying to avoid the golden gaze of the tall dark man.

Ultima stood up and looked at the rope. "It's not very practical to burn it so far away, how the heck do you find a rope like this." He pulled the rope hard. "It's pretty sturdy." He said pulling the person off the hill. "That will finish any problems he may cause." He said.

Baldur walked to the plate of waffles and lifted one up with his hands, ignoring the fork, and he took a bite. Bland, like the noodles, but with a different taste to it. As he chewed he looked over at the syrup and lifted it up to look at it.
Angeles walked back to her table to sit down and sighed, looking at the carving she had done. It was complete, but had enough room for more detail if she wanted. The question in her mind was if she wanted anything more than a landscape within the picture, as she had a mind to carve a horse or maybe just a few insects into the wood.

Star walked over to the waffles and put some onher plate.She begain pouring syrup and poured just enough."this looks good zulma" she said to her friend.She then took silverware and cut it up;then she brought it over to a table and sat own to enjoy the meal.

Zuma tiptoed to the main table and took a waffle for herself. She was paying attention not to cross Asanhi's eyes until she started to look for the syrup.
"Where is it?" she asked to herself.
As she looked around, her eyes fell on the bottle which was in..Asanhi's hands.
Zulma remained silent, waiting for the man to put it back on the table, she did not want to disturb his reading as he seemed very concentrated on the bottle.

Ultima followed her advice and helped himself. He watched Kiba exercise the meat off, as if he needed anymore muscles. "Wow it's good!" He said.

Baldur felt eyes on him and he turned to look at Zulma. He looked back at the bottle before swallowing what was in his mouth and handed the bottle to her, "here, sorry, I'm not sure what it is."

Zulma smiled at the man. His ignorance and honesty about him was touching. He looked strong and yet that showed some fragility. She was drawn to him in a strange way.
You have known his for barely two days and you are drawn to him? Remember where that led you last time?! Karasu's image pop into her mind.
Zulma took the bottle.
"This is syrup. This is sweet. You put it like that on the waffle." she showed him with her plate. Then put the bottle aside and cut a piece.
"Here..." she handed him her fork with a piece of waffle with syrup. "Try.." she offered with a smile.

Ultima had to laugh out loud. Death was here, not as the spirit he'd talked too, but in his physical form. They looked the same, but this death could be killed. Not only was he in his physical form, he had no weapon. Somehow this struck Ultima as funny.

Baldur listened and watched and then looked down at the piece that was offered to him. He wrapped his fingers around the fork and took it and sniffed at the piece before placing it in his mouth. He had never tasted 'sweet' before and as he now did the waffle took on a lot of promise. He looked at the waffle in his hand and then back at Zulma and handed her the fork, swallowing, and saying, "I would like some."

Once Star finished her meal sh got up and went to was her plate.As she warshed the items she used she thougth about last night.She frowned.I don't ssee why that..hag won't leave me be..who cares that I am an orphan; I could take care of myself..Geting to caughed up in her thoughts Star accidently cut herself with the knife she was warshing.

Zulma smiled.
"May I?" she delicately took his plate from his hand and poured some syrup on the waffle, then she handed him back his plate.
"I have nothing against you using your hands. But it is sticky with the syrup, you might want to sit at the table and use silverware..." she pushed the closest chair away from the table and took a seat next to the place she was offering to him.
She remembered that Asanhi had mentioned he wanted to learn their ways, so she was trying to 'teach' him without seeming too arrogant.

Death laughed too, he thought he was foolish for coming on non-violent terms, like he'd told Ultima to do. Death rubbed Ultima's head. He then shouted over to Zulma. "Do you have something for me to eat?" He asked. He hadn't used his physical form in forever.

Zulma raised her head with a raised eyebrow and clenched jaws. Who was that obnoxious person who was shouting like that?
"No need to shout." she responded in a contained voice. "There is food on the table."
She did not even look at who had spoken, the only thing she noticed was that it seemed the man was with Ultima. Once again the young man seemed to be in the center of a potential problematic situation. However the innkeeper stayed calm and just took a bite of waffle.

Death knew who she was at once, that's why he was death. "Still containing all that rage, eh Zulma?" He said silently. He looked at the food with distaste, it was much different than his normal diet. He wondered if he could turn this into life force. It wasted much energy as he was a mortal right now.
