Isaac waited until Natasha was driving away before he went back inside. He had just finished changing for bed and was going to watch another movie when his cousin Bethany called him. "I don't mean to bother you," she said cheerfully, "But somehow I had totally forgotten to leave your free gift with you when I had dropped off your order earlier this evening, and so I called to find out if I can take your gift to you sometime tomorrow." Isaac had not been aware that he was supposed to get a free gift, but since he never turned down anything that was free, he replied, "That will be fine. Just call before you come to make sure that I am home." "I'll do that," Bethany promised, and then she asked, "How did your audition with Natasha go?" "It went very well," Isaac replied. He told her about ordering pizza for him, Natasha, and Clementine, and a movie for Clementine, and explained how he had come up with a list of duets that he and Natasha could perform, along with how 'Islands in the Stream' had been chosen at random. "That's a good song," Bethany said in return, "I can hardly wait to hear you two performing it. Anyway, I won't keep you any longer. Have a good night, and I'll give you a call tomorrow." "You have a good night too," Isaac said before hanging up. It occurred to him that the fact that Bethany had asked him about his evening with Natasha suggested that she might have been more interested in hearing about that than in telling him about the free gift that he was supposed to get, which led him to wonder if the free gift had been only an excuse for Bethany to call. Was his cousin getting nosy on him? Maybe he'll ask Bethany about it when he saw her again.
Meanwhile, Louis and Chandra were snuggling together in their bed. After they had 'stress tested' their living room sofa for a while, they had moved to the bedroom for a more intimate setting. Chandra let out a sigh of contentment and remarked, "You really outdid yourself tonight. I don't remember having this much fun since before Timothy was born." "It hasn't been easy for either of us to find the time," Louis pointed out. "That's true. Hopefully we'll have the same good results this time as we had last time," Chandra said in return, meaning that she hoped that she will become pregnant again, which was the main point of that night's lovemaking. After a moment of silence, Chandra asked, "What time did you tell your mother that you will be going to pick up Timothy?" "I didn't give her a specific time because I didn't know then what we will be doing," he informed her, and he added, "Mom said that if it gets too late, Timothy could spend the night there, so that I won't have to go and get him." Chandra considered that and said, "That was thoughtful of her. Do you think she suspects what we've been doing?" Louis shrugged and replied, "I really can't say, but I don't think so." Coming to a decision, Chandra said, "Call your mother and tell her that we're going to take her up on her offer." In addition to the cell phones that Louis and Chandra owned, there was also a phone in the living room and one in their bedroom. Louis used the bedroom phone to call his mother.
"Chandra and I have decided to take you up on your offer to have Timothy spend the night at your house," Louis said to his mother when she answered the phone. "I thought that you might, and so I've been soft-selling the idea to Timothy," she replied, and then she called out, "Timothy! It's your father!" Louis heard the sound of running feet, and then Timothy said, "Hi Dad! Is it OK if I stay here at Grandma's and Grandpa's tonight?" "It's fine with me, Sport, and it's fine with your mother," Louis replied, since that is just what they wanted. "Yay!" Timothy cheered. "Your mother talked to Clementine's mother, and they've arranged for Clementine to come here for a playdate tomorrow afternoon," Louis added. "Yay! Timothy cheered again. "I'll pick you up in the morning. Now I want you to go to bed right away because you have a busy day tomorrow," Louis instructed. "OK, Dad. Good night!" Timothy said in return. "Good night," Louis said. His mother came back on the phone and said,"I'm sure that Timothy will enjoy his stay. What time will you be coming to get him?" Louis gave her a time and wished her a good night before hanging up. "You hypocrite!" Chandra said to him with an impish grin, and when he looked confused, she continued, "Telling Timothy go go to bed right away when you know that we aren't getting any sleep tonight." Louis shrugged and replied, "Timothy is a growing boy who needs his sleep, while we are adults who can handle an all-nigher." "True, but are you sure that you can keep up with me?" Chandra inquired teasingly as she moved on top of him. "I was about to ask you the same thing," Louis replied with a smile of his own.

As Isaac had planned, he watched another movie before going to bed. Having no specific plans for the next day, he got up at about 9 a.m. It seemed that he had just finished getting dressed when Bethany called to find out if it was a good time for her to bring his free gift to him. Isaac told her to come over and she arrived about a half hour later with his gift, which turned out to be a sample package of the multi-vitamins that Amway sold. After Bethany had left, he played online games on his computer the rest of the morning. A nearby Pizza Hut had a Saturday lunch buffet, and so he went there for lunch.
Louis woke up at about 7:30 that morning and discovered that Chandra was already up and cooking breakfast in the kitchen. "I hope that fried eggs and bacon are fine this morning," she remarked when he entered the kitchen. "Just what I'm in the mood for," he replied. "Should we fix something for Timothy?" she then asked. Louis shook his head and said, "No need. Mom will have fixed breakfast for him." "Yes, you are probably right," Chandra agreed. After Louis had finished eating, he called his mother to inform her that he was on his way to pick up Timothy. "He'll be ready when you get here," she assured him. Louis went straight to his mother's house. "Thanks again for watching Timothy last night,"he said to his mother when he had arrived. "You know Timothy is always welcome for a visit," she replied. She didn't ask him about what he and Chandra had been doing the previous night, and if she had guessed, she didn't let it show. Louis' mother did go on to say, "Timothy is very excited about his playdate today with his new friend. It's all that he has been talking about this morning," When Timothy arrived at the door, Louis asked him, "Ready to go, Sport?" "Ready!" Timothy replied. Louis thanked his mother again, promised that he, Timothy, and Chandra will visit more often, and then he and Timothy were on their way home. As they went, Timothy gave his father a rambling account of everything that he had done at Grandma and Grandpa's house, including the fact that he had eaten blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Once they had returned home, Timothy's excitement for his playdate was such that he could hardly do any of his usual Saturday activities.
The first thing that Natasha and Clementine heard after Natasha had rang the doorbell was the 'Yap! Yap! Yap!' of a Pomeranian. When the door opened, Chandra and Timothy were there, and Timothy had picked up the dog just to be safe. Chandra gave their visitors a friendly smile as she said, "Hello. I'm Chandra." "And this is Fluff!" Timothy chimed in. Feeling that it was safe, he set the dog on the floor. Fluff spent a couple moments sniffing Natasha and Clementine, and then stood there with her tail wagging in a friendly manner. "It's so nice to meet you, Natasha," Chandra went on to say, and turning to Clementine, she added, "And you must be Clementine." That was stating the obvious, but that was the way that Chandra did things.

"Thank you. It's very kind of you to say so," Chandra replied with a smile. Speaking to Timothy, she suggested, "Why don't you show your bedroom to Clementine and then you two and Fluff can go play in the backyard." "OK!" Timothy said in return, and he motioned for Clementine to follow him. Turning back to Natasha, Chandra motioned towards the sofa and said, "Please make yourself at home. Would you like some iced tea?" Chandra was thinking that it would be nice for her and Natasha to get to know each other better if Natasha had the time for a chat. A doorway at the back of the living room led to the dining room/kitchen area, and the hall to the right led to the rest of the house. When Timothy and Clementine went to the backyard, they will be going through the dining room and through the sliding glass door that was the back door. A kitchen counter divided the kitchen from the dining room, and the kitchen door led to the garage, where the laundry machines were located. In the hallway, there were two doors on the right and two on the left. The first door on the right led to a room that was currently used as a storage room of a sort, but could be changed to another bedroom if and when it was needed. The first door on the left led to the main bathroom, which had a shower instead of a bathtub. The second door on the left was for Louis and Chandra's bedroom. In addition to a walk-in closet, there was also the smaller of the two bathroom, which had a bathtub.
The second door on the right was for Timothy's bedroom. His bed was set in the corner of the room and underneath the window on the front wall of the home. To the right of the door was a closet and a toy box. Ordinarily half of Timothy's toys will be scattered across the bedroom, along with a few clothes, but today Chandra made sure that Timothy had cleaned up before their guests had arrived. At the moment, Timothy was using his Cars bedding set. In his closet was his 'Batman' bedding set and his 'Transformers' bedding set, which he switched with the 'Cars' set periodically at his mother's insistence. "This is my room!" Timothy stated to Clementine proudly, "Pretty cool, huh?"

Timothy was pleased that Clementine liked his room. "Yes, let's go!" he said in agreement. He pauses long enough to grab a ball that they can use for a game of fetch with Fluff, and a football that he and Clementine can toss around if they want to. The principle feature of the backyard was the playset that Louis had managed to assemble without saying any bad words. If asked, Timothy will be glad to talk about how he had helped his father in putting the playset together. Fluff knew what the small ball was for and was wagging her tail expectantly. "Fetch!" Timothy exclaimed before throwing the ball. Fluff charged after the ball, scooped it up on the run, turned around, and ran back to where Timothy and Clementine were standing. She then dropped the ball at Clementine's feet to indicate that she wanted Clementine to throw the ball next.
"Please excuse me for a moment," Chandra said in return. She went to the kitchen, and returned a minute or so later with two glasses of iced tea and a half-full pitcher on a tray, which she set on the coffee table. Chandra gave the kids a friendly wave as they went to the backyard. "I'm so glad that Timothy has a friend to play with already," she remarked to Natasha, "Since he doesn't have any brothers or sisters, he has only his cousins to play with, and he doesn't see them that often. Louis and I think that it would be good if he had a brother or a sister, but that hasn't happened. At least it hasn't happened yet. Louis and I are working on that." If Chandra had known Natasha for a long time, then she might have elaborated on what she and her husband were doing to give their son a brother or sister. As it was, Chandra felt that Natasha knew what she basically meant. Chandra's doctor had advised/warned Chandra that it was common for women who were using fertility drugs to have twins. Chandra didn't know it yet, but she was already that fortunate. Louis appeared just then and said to Natasha, "Hello, Miss Lewis. How are you today?" He understood that his presence wasn't required, since Chandra and Natasha will want to engage in 'girl talk', but he thought that it would be rude of him if he didn't at least say 'hello'.

(( Sure! biggrin ))
"Yes, I am," Louis replied with a smile. Having completed the socializing that was expected of him, he then said to Chandra, "I'm heading to the grocery store. Is there anything in particular that we need?" "Everything we need is on the list on the refrigerator door," Chandra replied, and she teasingly added, "Please remember to take the list with you this time." "I will," Louis promised. "Would you happen to be going to Food 4 Less?" Chandra inquired before he left. "That's where I'm going," Louis said in return. "Would it happen to be the store near the Best Buy store?" she then asked. "Yes, that one," he acknowledged. "Are you thinking about stopping at Best Buy while you are in the neighborhood?" Chandra then asked. Louis hesitated and replied, "I haven't decided yet." Of course that could mean that he had decided that he was going to, but wasn't willing to admit it yet. Chandra knew her husband well enough to understand what he meant, and she said, "Whatever you decide, don't be gone so long that the milk you get starts to spoil." "Certainly," Louis said. He took that to mean that he should go to Best Buy first so that he could go straight home from Food 4 Less. Louis then went to the kitchen to retrieve the grocery list before going to his car. Speaking to Natasha again, Chandra asked, "What is it you do at the company? Louis mentioned something, but I'm afraid that I don't remember it."

By some coincidence, Isaac was on Facebook at the moment, although his main Facebook activities were playing games and sharing memes that he finds to be amusing. The game that he was playing was a strategy game that was set in the Star Trek universe, while the time setting was some time after the Next Generation and Deep Space Nine TV series. At the start of the game, the player chooses to play as either the Federation or as the Dominion. Isaac happened to choose the Federation this time. After establishing a home base, the player then constructs support buildings on the base, and star ships to explore the four sectors found in the game. The space ships were divided into four fleets, each of which was led by a flagship, and up to four different affiliate ships could be assigned to a given flagship as escorts. The game had over twenty different affiliate ships that could be researched and assigned to the flagships. The support buildings produced materials, such as metal and dilithium, which were used to construct the star ships, and to upgrade the support buildings and star ships, while the base's Research Facility will research various technologies that will increase resource production and increase the star ships' capabilities. Of course the star ships were built to fight, and as the Federation, there were times when Isaac's fleets will come into conflict with rival Dominion fleets. In addition, the common foe that both the Federation and the Dominion had to deal with in the game was an alien race known only as 8437, which had originated in a parallel dimension.
One of the game's features was the Virtual Battle, which was essentially a simulation within a simulation that allowed Isaac to pit his fleets against the fleets of other players, both Federation and Dominion, in a 'virtual' battle. Participation in the Virtual Battle was limited to three forty-minute events each day. When Isaac started a match in Virtual Battle, the game would then match him up with another active player on his game server, and the match would begin. If there wasn't another active player available within a one-minute period, then by default his fleets would be fighting against a computer-controlled alien fleet, which were nearly always much weaker than the players' fleets, and therefore an easy win. It just so happened that Isaac was waiting for a match to start. He was only five seconds away from being matched up with another computer-controlled fleet when another player showed up and the match started. Isaac got angry the moment when he say the other player's in-game name because he knew from previous matches that the other player's fleets were much stronger than his fleets, which meant that he now had no chance of winning the match. To be honest, Isaac hated to lose these matches, especially when he had no control over how he was fighting, and not to mention the fact that he had been only five seconds away from another easy win. The way that he saw it, the other player had just stolen a win from him. That being so, Isaac let out a long and loud string of profanities, in which he questioned the other player's intelligence, the legitimacy of the other player's birth, and the morality of the other player and other player's mother. As it was, Isaac couldn't change anything, and so there was nothing to do but wait for the match to end, and try again after waiting long enough for the other player to have started another match against someone else before Isaac started his next match, or so Isaac hoped.
((OOC: FYI, the game I've described isn't something that I've made up. It's a real game that I play on Facebook. ))
Tim was having fun playing with Natasha and Fluffy when all of a sudden, Fluffy ran to the back fence while barking furiously. The back fence was a wood plank fence that was almost as tall as Tim's father. A black cat was sitting on top of the fence, and was nonchalantly swishing it's tail back and forth while completely ignoring Fluffy, who continued to bark. "That's the neighbor's cat," Tim explained to Clementine, "They call her Lucky. Fluffy doesn't like her, and she knows that Fluffy can't get to her up there, and so she likes to sit there and tease Fluffy."
Chandra nodded from time to time as she listened to Natasha. "Congratulations!" she said when Natasha had finished, "It sounds to me like you are pretty much set up for success regardless of what you decide to do. Of course you already know that Louis works in Isaac Krellman's department. Going by what Louis has told me, Mr. Krellman sounds like a good person to work for. Louis is very glad that Mr. Krellman chose to hire him. I was glad too, and I was really glad that Louis wasn't out of work for so long that it became a serious problem for us. Not that I was worried for myself, of course. I was worried that we might not be able to take care of Timothy as we should." Chandra was thinking that, as a mother, Natasha will know exactly what she was talking about.
