Hero HQ (AKA THE RP)

"Apparently some French army guy went rogue." Static explained as some army medic was tending to a wound on Static's arm. He had been able to avoid a good amount of the gunfire by ducking under a nearby car, but he was not invincible, and had his arm grazed by a bullet, leaving a nasty looking gash that was being sewed up.

"Hey!" he yelled at the Warrior, pushing the Army medic aside and jumping on his disc. From there he flew in front of The Warrior; not directly in his face (Static did enjoy living after all), but twenty feet in front of him. "You do not get to threaten people, especially when they saved your behind." he said.

"Your secret is safe here. Speaking of, you are not allowed to divulge anything of what you learn here." Nightwing replied. "Anyways, pick a room, and I'll show you the gyms. When Ivory returns later, we can check out the basement.

The rooms were stocked with the basics, and were spotless. At least, the empty ones were. d**k's room was fairly clean too, just cluttered. Ivory's room was so messy one wondered how he could find anything in it. he only got away with it because nobody ever looked in there.

"Once your keycard is made, it will open your room. Nobody else's card will work."

The Medic stumbled a bit at being pushed, but managed to stay upright. He watched with surprise as Static suddenly jumped on a floating disk and flew over to someone who had apparently been trying to leave the area lockdown. He tried to tell the kid he not to go, but he found it was useless so he went to find anyone else in need of his attentions.

The men who had been trying to stop Warrior from leaving looked at eachother, as if trying to ask the others what they were supposed to do. They couldn't very well force him by themselves, and even though they asked for backup, everyone was busy elsewhere. But, to the dismay of a couple and to what one thought of as luck, another apparent super came to try and stop the man from leaving. The apparently ranking officer of the small group moved a bit closer to static, as if trying to back him up. But he made sure not to get to close to either supers at the moment. And for the time being, his gun was lowered into a non threatening position.

"I'll be right back," Geraldo said to Nightwing and then vanished in a shimmer. Two seconds later he was back with three or four dozen suitcases brimming with clothes. Geraldo swiped his card, touched his luggage, and dissappeared into the room with it. After putting all his clothes away neatly, he dissappeared in another shimmer. Again he came back about two seconds later with all his bedroom furniture. He replaced all the default furniture with his own. After taking care of all his moving he approached Nightwing. "If you don't mind, can we wait in the kitchen after seeing the gyms? I'm gonna have the chef fix me up something good."

A huge wave went down the coastline of Canada, big enough to almost be considered a tsunami. Anyone looking out saw either the bravest or stupidest surfer ever. A lone figure rode the giant wave on what looked to be a surfboard made of ice. The gigantic wave finally reached the shore of Vancouver. Towering over the smaller buildings it came up, about to crash down. Suddenly, it turned and went the other way, fading into small waves in the distance. A figure stood on the shore, bone dry, holding a letter in his hands with a map showing him where to go.

After arriving at Vancouver's shore, Ryan decided he needed a less flashy way to travel. He jogged through town, following the map provided in his letter of acceptance to the Superhero Internship Center. Along the way he ran into something he didn't expect, a military lockdown zone. Coming towards him was a behemoth of a man with a young hero riding a metal disk trying to stop him. Immediately Ryan recognized him from his comics, It was Static Shock. "Hey! Static! Hey!" Ryan yelled. He could hardly believe he had found his hero to train him before he had even reached the training center.

Umbron sneaks in from the villain thread

Amazingly enough, the car Umbron had hopped on went right where he wanted to go. When he was outside the hero HQ he found a tree's shadow to hide in that went across the front of the building so he could slip into the first person's shadow going in when it passed the tree's shadow without being noticed.

"Well, so you know, most often we cook our own meals, no chef. We haven't found a chef we can trust yet." Nightwing explained as they headed towards the elevator. "We'll get something though." he explained as he opened the elevator.

"Now, we have three gyms. The first is the basement, essentially a huge simulation room, and you'll need a hero to get access." he explained. "I know you could get down there on your own, but trust me, don't. Last thing we need is the security system going beserk on you."

Almost as if it was planned, the elevator dinged open at the acrobatic gym. Around the outside was a large obstacle course, with the middle of the gym containing the normal gymnastics equipment. "This is the acrobatics gym, we'll run the obstacle course later." he added, pointing to the large board tacked up on one wall. It essentially was a list of names, following by times.

Static nodded at the person yelling at him, not taking his eyes off of the Warrior. He had learned the hard way not to take his eyes off of his enemy, and wasn't going to make that mistake twice.

Still, he was confident Terron would see who this newcomer was, or what he wanted. After all, they had been training together for awhile, and were approaching the point were they knew what the other was going to do. At least, Static felt they were reaching that point. His intern still could shock him.

Terron was hovering above Static. If anything were to happen between him and this new super, Terron would have a fight on his hands. Suddenly from a distance he heard the ramblings of another kid. He turned and looked. This boy seemed to be very excited to see Static. he flew down with his stone glider and skid to a hault in front of him. "Hold it right there." he said, putting force into his voice. He wasn't meaning to sound rude, he was just curious why he seemed so excited. "If it's an autograph your looking for, you won't get it now. We're trying to handle business."

"An autograph? No way. I'm here for something even better. You seem to know him pretty well if you two are handling business together, but I get to train under the all powerful and ever witty Static Shock. I get to learn to pull some of the crazy moves he does and back it up with smart comments that leaves his enemies broiling," Ryan gushed out. He was trembling with excitement that he was standing just twenty or so feet from one of the greatest heroes of all time.

The Warrior turned back to one who called to him, 'A hero. He better not ask me to join him and his little friends.' He thought. He was thinking about weither he should listen to him, or keep walking. He kept walking, if this hero had something important to tell him he would.
