Now people are going to get all defensive about their naming and such... Ugh. Whatever. Have a messed up name and sound stupid.... This is probably why I don't rp with illiterate people but most of the Naruto fans rp so wrong.... *sigh*

Names can be suited for everyone besides nationality. Also, the pronounciation you said was terribly odd. You added in a couple useless letters that would make it different completely, the only true correction I see is the L-R since there is no such thing as an L in the Japanese Language.
Also, when was Naruto said to be in japan? Didn't seem like it to me. It was made by a Japanese author so that is why many of names were Japanese.

Silken-Laced Mistress Moki: No what? I was telling people about my opinion. -___- Rao: "O.O" what? I'm part Japanese but it's not really dominant in my blood so I never learned from my mom or grandmother. I decided to learn on my own and I enjoy learning Japanese. ^ ^ Learning about the Japanese alphabet is step one to a good Japanese OC name. ^ ^ LOL!!!

Moki's right though. I'm pretty sure masashi kishimoto specified that at some point.

I have an opinion and if you don't agree with it, fine. You are entitled to your own and such. I never said that your opinions were wrong, just said that it is my pet peeve and my own opinion. Get off my back about having an opinion.
Moki: Hm, let's see. All names except for the moronic ones that the Americans translated into an English name and the name specifically made into a different language by Kishimoto-sama are Japanese. If you look at a real map and compare it to a Naruto map, yes, it doesn't necessarily take place in Japan. The mist village is located in Japan and Konoha is in China, technically, but just about everyone has a Japanese name.

biggrin Well, this is an odd discussion of names. All I care about is that half of them I can't pronounce.

Illiteracy and people who don't understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion... Wonderful. I thought that since this guild is so organized, maybe the rpers weren't half bad. *sigh* Some of you aren't bad, some of you are. I am starting to dislike this place.... People are generally friendly here. 'Tis a shame...

Claru: 1.) I said to get off my back about having an opinion. 2.) I was talking to Moki, not you. 3.) Pain, Guy and Lee are the only non-Japanese names that you listed. Gaara means a form of death and Madara means- No, that's Neji.... Nick, I think... *sigh* Yeah... This guild isn't as.... Friendly as I thought it was. Amongst other things... *goes off to look for a Naruto rp thread*
Edited.

From what I see that map is only similar. The setting was never specified as any place really. Also, go ahead and leave if "You are starting to dislike this guild" because people disagree with you. Newbies are often and it would be a shame to see you go. I'm saying this of my own free opinion, not because I'm mean.

D: That's rather rude. I hardly consider myself illiterate, but I cannot seem to be able to pronounce foreign names.
Please don't act like you're disappointed in something that others like because of some stupid argument over names. It's rather immature and I'd rather this stops here before it ends up violent. If you have a problem with it, just stay out of the chatroom, please.
