Star sat down by the bar.She knew she couldn't drink wine today.But MacPere nor anyone else said she couldn't sit at the bar."Loopholes..you gotta love them.." she muttered quietly to herself amused at that.She looked over to MacPere and nodded."Edmund and the other store keepers gave me some cloths to wear and these were in the bag." she sighed "I just wish it didn't have to make me look like a candy cane..or that I would have to wear a skirt..".

At Star's comment, he smiled. "Well, they look lovely...and I happen to like candy canes." The kettle whistled, and Gren hurried to take it off of the burner.

MacPere hummed and nodded with a smile to Star, agreeing with both of Gren's comments.
"Well, sweetheart, maybe something racy to start the night off, a Christmas Carol somewhere within that... and a slow song toward the end?" He scratched his jaw and looked to the ceiling. "It's too bad I won't be able to see you dance, though~"

Returning from the kitchen with a few steaming cups and a pot of tea, Gren sat down across from MacPere. "No...but maybe after all is said and done, someone else can play for us? There are plenty of people to play an instrument, after all."
He held up a cup. "Care for some, Star?"

"Thank you~" MacPere cooed, stirring some milk and sugar into the brew. "I do hope so... I do enjoy dancing with you, Grencia~"
He looked to Star and pushed her arm gently with a fist, smiling softly. "And considering you, Star, I've changed my mind. You can have one glass of champagne. That is all. Am I clear?" He raised his brow in a serious manner, looking expectantly for a positive answer.

MacPere soon returned with a plate, filled with an assortment of digestives, custard creams, rich teas, bourbons and ginger snaps. He sat back in his seat and sighed contentedly, taking up a ginger biscuit and dipping it into his tea for a few moments before taking a bite.
"Don't think I shan't make a drama over it, Star. I am particularly good at it."
