"You lived in Japan for a while, huh? That must have been really cool. Maybe when you have time, you can tell me a few things about Japan." Alex said in return. Already he was composing a list of questions to ask her that will unintentionally put on display a typical American's ignorance of Japanese culture. "It can be really tough to get used to a new school and new city that you've just moved into," Alex went on to say, even though he really hadn't experienced that for himself, "I can show you around a little, and I can also introduce you to a couple girls who can help you as well." Obviously he wasn't going to introduce her to Brandy or Helen if he could prevent those introductions from happening.

"Sure, thought I do tend to go on and on about how different life was in Japan but I'll try not to ramble on too much," She replied with a cute giggle while making sure to pay some attention to the lecture. When he offered his assistance she gave him a grateful smile and nodded, "That would be very kind of you and I'll take all the help I can get. Seeing how nice you are I'm sure the girls you're talking about are equally nice."

Alex was about to inform Kimberly that while her remark was true for the most part, there were a couple girls in the school that Kimberly should avoid, such as Queen B***h of the Entire Universe Brandy, but before he had the chance to, their teacher glared at him as a reminder that he was supposed to be paying attention to the lesson, instead of talking. No further conversation was possible until the end of class. As luck would have it, Penelope was walking by as Alex and Kimberly were leaving the classroom. "Hey Penelope! I want you to meet someone!" When Penelope approached, he performed the introductions by saying, "Penelope, this is my new friend Kimberly, and Kimberly, this is Penelope. She is the president of the honor society, captain of the debate team, captain of the chess team, and the smartest girl that you'll ever meet." Alex said all of that to impress upon Kimberly that Penelope was a Very Important Person when it came to the students' social standing at the school, which meant that it was worthwhile for Kimberly to become Penelope's friend, assuming that Penelope was favorably impressed with Kimberly.

"Pleased to meet you, Kimberly," Penelope said in return while eyeing Alex suspiciously. Guessing Penelope's thoughts, Alex replied to her unspoken question by saying, "I'm just showing Kimberly around and introducing her to people. That's all." "Really? Are you sure about that?" Penelope asked in return, "And what will Sophia say about this?" Knowing that Kimberly was going to find out sooner or later and thinking that it was a good idea that she heard about it directly from him, Alex informed Kimberly, "Sofia is my wife, and a student here as well. I'll introduce you to her as soon as I have the chance."

"It's a pleasure," Kimberly replied while nearly almost bowing. She chuckled lightly and reached out to shake Penelope's hand. "Sorry, rather used to bowing," due to Penelope's confused expression she went on to say, "I lived in Japan for the past five years, arrived here days ago and so I'll be attending here now." She then listned to what the two were talking about when Alex mention his wife. But of course she already knew, she knew almost everyone important at this school. It was a part of the plan after all.

"Wife? Oh well congrats on that, can't wait to meet her,"
She genuinely seemed excited and waited for the conversation they were having to end so they could continue on to lunch and or their next class.

Going by Kimberly's reaction, it had been a good thing for Alex to mention Sofia right away. It's better to be honest and straight-forward now than to tell a bunch of lies and have them blow up in your face later on. "Japan, you say? That's interesting," Penelope said in a tone that suggested that she wasn't really that interested. "Anyway, I was hoping that you will be able to introduce Kimberly to some of the other girls here in our school," Alex remarked to Penelope. She thought about that for a moment and replied, "Yes, I suppose I could. Of course it will be easy for you, Kimberly, to meet the members of the honor society if you are a member as well." That was almost an invitation for Kimberly to declare if her grades were good enough for her to belong to the honor society. Instead of waiting for Kimberly to reply, though, Penelope glanced at her watch and said, "We should be running off to class before we're late!" "That's true," Alex agreed, "Maybe the three of us will meet up at lunch, when there's more time for introductions."

((OOC: Where are Sofia and Debra going to be for lunch? In the cafeteria or the band room? I'm asking so that Pierre can tag along with Debra.))

"It was nice meeting you Penelope," Kim stated with a bright smile as she walked off with Alex, heading off to her next class in which they had the same class again. For now she was doing a good job with Alex and soon she would make him see that she was better than Sofia and convince him to dump her. By then Helen would get he chance to swoop in. Truthfully,Kim was being paid for all of this. She had a boyfriend and he was well aware of what she was up to and the only reason he was okay with it was because he would be sharing some of that money. Plus it would be entertaining to watch everything unfold.

((OOC: Yes, they'll be in the band room :3 You can time skip to lunch time.))

When lunchtime had arrived, Debra found Sofia in the band room, as expected, and as it happened, Pierre was tagging along. "I hope you don't mind," Debra said to Sofia, "He insisted on coming with me." "After all, we are still in zee... how is it said... zee honemoon stage, ma chérie," Pierre said in return. "If you insist, ma chérie," Debra replied. Pierre tsk, tsked and said, "Forgive me for correcting you, my little death rose, but you do not say 'ma chérie'. You are a woman speaking to a man, and so you say 'mon chéri'." "Wait! You're telling me that the way a woman says it is different than the way a man says it? Isn't that... like... sexist?" Debra demanded. Pierre merely shrugged and replied, "Zat is the way we speak in France." Feeling that he had given Debra a suitable answer, he turned to Sofia and remarked, "If I may be so bold, Sofia, you must be one of zee... how is it said... zee in crowd, no?" He was going by the fashionable clothes that Sofia was wearing that day. Naturally enough, he had not seen how Sofia usually dressed and he had not been there long enough to pick up any of the gossip about her. Likewise, he hadn't asked Debra any questions about Sofia.

Meanwhile, Alex was on his way to the cafeteria. He felt that as a gentleman, it was appropriate for him to show Kimberly the way, and he was hoping that Sofia will be in the cafeteria for a change so that he can introduce Kimberly to her. Alex considered it to be very good fortune that they had yet to encounter Helen, Brandy, or the two remaining members of Brandy's Team Bimbo. One of them was bound to show up sooner or later, but Alex was going to enjoy the moment while it lasted.

"Oh, bonjour Pierre," Sofia smiled a oh Debra and Pierre when they joined her in the music room. She pulled her lunch out as she started eating her salad first. She listened to the both talk and chuckled lightly when Debra was being taught the proper way to respond to what he had called her. Her then looked at Pierre and felt a bit saddened that she had to explain to him the very thing she had to explain to Debra when she had first met her. Though Debra had become her friend.

"No...quite the opposite to be exact. It's a long story but these are the only clothes I had..." She rubbed her head and sighed softly. "If you hang around me you'll slowly start to see how people in his school feel about me."

"Ah! I do beg your pardon," Pierre said in return, and after a moment of thought, he added, "Perhaps it is good that I have met you before I have heard any of the... how shall I say it... nasty rumors about you." Taking into consideration what Sofia had said, he was assuming that there were nasty rumors about her. "You'll probably hear a couple things about me as well," Debra stated, "But not as many. I haven't been in this school long enough to have a really bad reputation. I'm working on it, though." "But why would you want that?" Pierre justifiably asked with some confusion. "That's a long story too," Debra replied.

Sofia chuckled as she shook her head, "You'll learn that Debra and I aren't the typical stereotypical American girl....I suppose you can say. Nonetheless I hope you have a good time here and don't have to deal with foolish like we do on a daily basis." With a shrug as usual she offered some of her food to them though she typically bought extra for Debra though upon pulling out Debra's lunch she saw that she forgot to give Alex is.

"I'll be back," she quickly stated while standing and exiting the room knowing that Alex was in the cafeteria. She honestly forgot that she acually looked attractive today. That showed how much Sofia barely paid attention to how she looked in respects to being part of trends etc. Nevertheless she walked in and spotted Alex, wondering why people were staring at her. Either way she walked over to him though she did notice a new face.

"I forgot to give you your lunch," She held out the paper bag for him to take.

Alex had the feeling that there was another reason for why he wanted to find Sofia, but he couldn't put his finger on it, that is until Sofia arrived with his lunch. "Thank you!" he said with gratitude. Growing bold, he gave her a light kiss on the cheek. "Your timing is perfect," Alex went on to say as he gestured towards Kimberly, "This is Kimberly. She's a new student here. Kimberly, this is my wife Sofia." In a way, it was kind of strange to introduce Sofia in that way, but that was because he hadn't done it before now, since everyone in the school already knew that he and Sofia were married.

The light kiss on the cheek caused Sofia to blush ever so slightly but she managed to keep it together. Now giving her attention to Kimberly she nodded and stuck her hand out and shook the new girls hand. It was weird to hear Alex introduce her the way he did but inside it made her rather happy...not that she would express it at the moment. "It's nice to meet you," she said as she put her hand back down and added, "That's two new students today." She chuckled a bit, "Well I'd like to stay and talk but I left Debra and Pierre in the music room so I should head back. I'll see you later." She looked at Alex then at Kim while saying, "And I'll see you around perhaps?"

Kim nodded, "Oh sure, it was nice meeting you and lets hang out some day soon." She gave a warm and sweet smile which meant to Sofia that no one had gotten her with their lies about her.

Once Sofia left Kim looked at Alex, "She's beautiful! No wonder you married her." She chuckled and teasingly nudged him as she seemed like a nice laid back girl.

"You know how it goes," Alex replied in a typical display of male bravado, "The most popular guy, who happens to be the starting quarterback, usually hooks up with the hottest chi... I mean the prettiest girl in the school." He had made it sound like his and Sofia's marriage had been a conscious choice that had been planned out in advance. Naturally enough, it was only a matter of time until Kimberly heard the story about how he and Sofia had gotten married, but Alex wasn't going to spoil whatever romantic notions that Kimberly had at the moment. At the same time, he was wondering how long it will take her to ask him about how he could be the starting quarterback with his leg in a cast.

Alex had been so busy talking to the new girl that he hadn't noticed that Brandy had been spying on him for the past few minutes. Coming to the conclusion that the new girl was potential trouble, Brandy rushed off to find Helen. As soon as she saw Helen, she quickly approached and said in a low voice, "I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you might have a problem. I just saw Alex talking to a new girl and it looked like they were getting pretty friendly! I just thought that I'd warn you."

Helen was in the cafeteria but from where she sat she was unable to really see Alex but it didn't take Brandy long to come and fill her in on what was going on.Once she was given the news, she smirked which produced a puzzling expression from Brandy. Though it seemed that her statement only brought more confusion. "Kim's finally here? 'Bout time...for now we can't talk to her. We have to let Alex think she has nothing to do with us." After that she went on to explain how Kimberly is Helen's friend and that Helen knew that Kim would be transferring here as well and asked her to wedge a gap between Alex and Sofia. It was all part of a devious plan.

Meanwhile Sofia finally returned to the music class and rejoined Debra and Pierre.

Kimberly had nodded and smiled, stating how it was cute and all but then focused on him again. "So I'm guessing you hurt your leg during a game? That must be rough. Will you be out all season? Or will you be able to recover? Are there any scouts coming to any of your games? I know one or two through my father. I could hook you up." She chuckled and again smiled at him kindly while sitting there with no lunch. Her goal was to see if she could get him to share his lunch with her. A bit iffy for a man to give a girl he just met half his food his WIFE made he. Judging how nice Alex was, she knew he could easily manipulate him.
