Angeles laughed and allowed herself to be spun, it was either that or accidentally break MacPere's wrist. She ignored his flattery and accepted the hug but ten gently pushed him away, "You wouldn't mind, but i would, and so would someone else," Angeles nodded to Gren, "thank you for your compliment friend, and now for your punishment." She smiled and made her way to the piano and sat down before it and again held down a chord before she began to play the notes lightly and spoke in a distant-sounding voice, "I was born amidst the purple waterfalls.
I was weak, yet not unblessed.
Dead to the world. Alive for the journey.
One night I dreamt a white rose withering,
a newborn drowning a lifetime loneliness.
I dreamt all my future. Relived my past.
And witnessed the beauty of the beast"She then began to play the keys a little harder, making sure not to cut them and began to actually sing. Where have all the feelings gone?

Kageko picked up the present that she had taken from underneath the tree. She knew that it wasn't polite to take other's presents but she believed she had a justifiable reason for this. "To: Moriko. From: Zefi" she murmured under her breath. Her mind went on overdrive, "How does Zefi know my sister? More so, enough to give her a present?! Has Moriko been coming to the inn? But I haven't seen her at all," and a million other question like that ran through her mind as she processed the information that her sister had come to the inn and made friends. Her last thought was, "Zefi has some explaining to do," she added as an afterthought, "And Moriko too if I ever catch her." As revenge against her sister for never coming over to visit her, Kageko decided to take Moriko's present. She wasn't going to open it, no, she was just going to keep it hostage until Moriko showed up in front of her. Tucking the present under her arm, Kageko turned... and froze. "A-Angeles?" she couldn't help but say in wonder. This was the first time that she had seen Angeles in anything like a dress. She was even singing and playing the piano....

Gren sat quietly, and set down his teacup. Her voice was haunting, deeper than he'd though...a bit of roughness to its timbre, but lingeringly pleasant in quality. He loved her accent.

Baldur watched as the humans were once again entranced by Angeles and he growled in his throat, standing and walking to the kitchen to deposit his glass into the sink before walking upstairs to his room.
I've never felt so alone in my life
As I drank from a cup which was counting my time
There's a poison drop in this cup of Man
To drink it is to follow the left hand path
Angeles watched her fingers carefully as the next several bars were purely instrumental and she didn't want to get carried away and slice the delicate ivory to pieces.

As the performance descended into an instrumental, MacPere strolled back to his seat and turned it slightly, to gain a better view of the stage. Her accent gave the song an edge of flair...
Ha, he may have to give up on the singing and leave and it to those good at it.

Kageko was broken out of her wonder by Asansi's growl, his very realistic growl. She shook her head and remembered that she had promised Yang and Yin that she'd get home as soon as she had gotten her goggles. If she didn't go out soon, then a black furry ball might just decide to come crashing through and tackle her. She quietly made her way to the door, kind of sore that she wasn't able to listen to Angeles finish her song. Silently closing the door behind her so as not to disturb anyone, Kagek ran into the woods. After getting a good distance away from the inn, she opened up a crack home and stepped through, making sure to close it after she went in.

Finishing his first cup of tea, Gren quietly poured himself a new cup, ear trained on the stage, picking up a growl from Anansi. He wondered what his issue with Angeles might have been, but would ask later.

Angeles played through Bladur and Kageko leaving, watching them in her Peripheral vision, always alert, but not at all concerned by their departure. The song was almost done she needed to tell MacPere something before he went to sleep. Her fingers ceased suddenly on the keys but held a chord as she pushed the pedal down to blend and hold out the notes and she sang:

She then began to play lightly again and continued.

The music became strong again and she had to lift her voice slightly to be heard over it.

The music remained strong but began to fade away as her voice began to speak again rather than sing; the end of the song. The words lasted longer than the notes, ending with the last resonating sounds of the piano.

Clapping enthusiastically, Gren swiped a flower from a centerpiece and tossed it onto the stage. "Brava, Angeles!"

MacPere rose from his seat and applauded in a standing ovation, having thoroughly enjoyed her voice. "Bravo, Angeles, bravo... That was absolutely spectacular~!"

Angeles continued to smirk as she stood and walked over, retreiving the rose from the stage and lightly inhaling its scent as she walked back to the two men's table. She replaced the rose in the center piece, it was safer there, "thank you both of you," she folded her arms, "well, you both saw me in a dress, something no one has seen since my death with the exception of last night. You have been punished accordingly having to listen to me sing a less than cheerful song. I beleive it is a win win situation at the moment, however," She walked over to MacPere and brought their bodies close, "I do have something to add."
Angeles brushed MacPere's hair away from one of his ears and bent so that her lips were next to it and began to whisper to him so that only he would hear, caressing his neck as she did so, "I lay dead in a bed of what you see as diamonds and roses. But alas, it is naught but a bed of ash and tears, and I shall not have you lay with me there amongst the sorrow and the pain. You are too full of the sun to be a part of the darkness."
She then pulled away from the man and made her way towards the stairs, her hand slipping from the side of his neck to trail the tip of the nail of her index finger carefully across his throat before slipping fully away to go get changed out of the dress.
((By the way how tall is MacPere, I'm always imagining him shorter than Angeles...))

MacPere sighed and glowered briefly at Angeles' words, smiling as she pulled away. She did mean the best but...
"Goodnight Angeles~" MacPere cooed, holding up a hand in a wave.
