Kate: Bursts through the Cullens front door "Sorry it took me so long to get here." With a faint smile "how is everyone?"

Charlie:
"Ummm, Bella, I already told them that I would be there today, and I'm already late." I turned back to her. "And, I thought I would tell you that I will be fine. I hunted a few minutes ago, and I dont even feel thirst right now. Plus, I walked through the park early this morning, and there was this woman. I wanted her. But I controled myself."

Bella:
"Ok." I said, giving in. I turned to the front door to see Kate. "Kate! How nice to see you. How are you? Carmen is outside with Quil." I turned away and smirked before turning back to Kate. "You may have a seat." "Bye Dad." I said absentmindedly.

Charlie:
"Bye baby." I said running out of the door. I was two seconds late, and I didn't want to be more late.

Kate: "thank you Bella." Kate steps outside and looks for Carmen."Hello Carmen"

Carmen: I was running toward the house when i heard Kate From the other direction. "Kate?" I turned around and saw kate looking at me with a grin. "KATE!! How have you been its been a while." I ran over to kate being cautious if she was going to shock me.

Charlie:

I breathed in for a second. Then I let it out. There was a line between these people and me. They wanted to put on Mud wrestling when I wanted to put on MANswers. I'm the manager though. I'll put on MANswers.


~~~ Hours again.~~~
I got off shift and drove to my house. I really needed to watch the baseball game.

Bella:
I nodded to Kate as she moved outside to speak with Carmen. I sat on the couch thinking to myself when I heard a car approaching. Must be Charlie I thought sighing.

Carmen: I forgot that Quil was right behind me for one second. "OH, im sorry. I hope you two remember each other from the little problem we had with the Volturi."

Kate: "carmen Oh how have you been dear." I reach out and hug Carmen, "I am so glad to see you," I turn at the sound of a car, "Is that Charlie?"

Kate: "Of course I remeber."

Bella:
I glared out the window at nothing. I just didn't understand what was happening.... I had a bad feeling which is new for me. I decided to go outside and speak with Carmen about earlier. I slowly walked out the door, seeing Charlie's car pull up in the drive. "Carmen, may I have a word?" I asked.

Carmen: "ok just trying to make sure. Hmmm i do not know. Let us go and see." I started walking toward the house with kate walking next to me. "So why did it take you so long to get here? I've been waiting for you and Tanya for months. Where is Tanya anyway?"

Carmen: i looked at Bella, curious. She never talked to me unless she was angry at someone else or irritated. "um, Sure. Kate we can catch up later." i kissed kate on her cheeks then walked over to a near by tree. "What wrong? Did i do something wrong?"

Bella:
I looked at Carmen with an expressionless face. "I wanted.... I wanted to say that-" I paused taking a breath. "I am sorry. I didn't mean to upset you I just don't want Charlie to get hurt. The only reason I said Edward because he can read Charlie's mind;I said Alice because Charlie trusts and would never hurt her. He doesn't know you as well." I explained. I still was uncomfortable around Carmen but I could deal with that myself.
