Gren raised an eyebrow and hid a smirk at macPere's comment. Apparently it'd been getting to him too...
Gren had been swallowing some annoyance at being called inferior, as it only served to remind him of his time in prison. He'd kept his mouth shut on account that it was a dog speaking, and couldn't be held accountable to some few facts about senses.
He perked up a bit it Kageko's comment, and chimed in "And don't forget the opposable thumbs..."

"You say something? No, my dear, no~" He sat back, quiet for a moment, before bring a fist to the table's top and piping up a little more. "I am just an average man, with a few hidden tricks, I'll admit, and I managed to take down a vampire. A vampire. Does that make me not able to fight at all?"
He huffed and folded his arms, feeling somewhat childish now. "... Sorry."

"Well there's that, I can lift things without using my mouth." He said. He trailed his hand on the wall then cringed. He looked at his hand, he had a small cut. "Ow, that hurt." He said. He didn't know what to do about so he left it. "A vampire? I've only heard of a few average men able to handle it, now I know you have the ability to handle youselves." He said smiling.

Gren shifted over and patted MacPere on the back, turning his head to Kiba with an apologetic smile. "Sorry...bit of a sore spot...we're some of the only regular humans here, without any powers. It's pretty hurtful to be considered useless in a fight, especially with what he and I have actually been through."

"Nah, just get Angeles hungry and angry, then send him in." He rubbed his arm unthinkingly, recalling the deep gashes, the infections. "It was a lovely bonding experience for the three of us..."
He thought for a moment. "Angeles' protege? I haven't seen her in a while..."

Kageko couldn't help but feel a bit bad, out of the three of them, she was the only one that didn't get hurt... and the only one that had hurt Angeles. "I really don't think we should do that," she said hesitantly. She couldn't believe that they got back to Angeles so she decided to try and change the topic again, "Besides, does anyone else have a wierd feeling about Anansi?" Yep, she was grasping for pretty much anything.

Kiba yawned. He slightly morphed back, enough to have black armor plates protect him, at the loss of someting humans had. He could smell better now. "Who's anansi, the spider?" He asked.

"No, the spider is Arachne...Anansi is named for the spider god, though."
Gren mulled over the general knowledge he had of the fellow. "...He's not human," he concluded. "No human has those sort of eyes."

Kageko yawned, she was sleepy again. "Go ask MacPere and Gren," she replied to Kiba's question and then headed up to the room that she usually occupied.
