"You want something to eat?" Kageko asked as she stuck her head out of the kitchen door, she had felt through Legend's energy that he was awake but had decided not to bother him until he asked for something.

" Ok, that will give me plenty of time to slice the vegetables." Ale replied, and started doing just that. " Wait, Legend's awake?" she asked, hearing Kageko's words.

OOC- I guess. It's not that important, unless we begin writing "The Inn of Peace Cookbook".

"No thank you."Legend said. He at least wanted to read a book but really couldn't do it.

"Yep," Kageko responded to Ale, sticking her head back into the kitchen then had to stick her head back out to respond to Legend, "Ummm.... Then do you need anything?" At the same time, she felt Yang and Yin wake up groggily, both were thinking something about sore wings but Kageko's conscious didn't delve any further.

"Hum... are you alright? Does it hurt somewhere?" Ale yelled from the kitchen to Legend, as she began frying the omelet. Ok, ok, it was not the most polite thing to do, she was aware of that, but she was busy, and Kageko was making something else, and...

Legend shook his head to answer Kageko's question.
"Nah, I'm fine. I don't need any distractions..."

Kageko nodded and went back into the kitchen. She saw the fish that Ale had sliced up, and started looking for the soy sauce. Yin and Yang finally made their way into the kitchen.
{Look in the refrigertor for some soy sauce and/or green onions, please,} Kageko asked them as she rummaged through a cupboard. She found rosemary and a bunch of other spices but no soy sauce so she decided to move to another one.
Yin and Yang nodded a yes. Yang went to go look in the refrigerator while Yin, being more dexterous, started getting out plates and bowls. {Wasabi as well?} Yang asked as she brought out a tube of wasabi held between her teeth.
{Yeah,} Kageko responded, {that too.} She smiled as she found the soy sauce and brought it out. Picking up a small dish that Yin had taken out and pouring the soy sauce into it. Yang whizzed by and dropped the wasabi before looking for the green onions.
{Ale has them,} Yin remarked as she carried the plates.
{Oh,} Kageko and Yang remarked.
Yang closed the door to the refigerator and went up to Ale, asking, "Can we use the green onions, please?" as Kageko started mixing the wasabi and soy sauce together.

"Sure" Ale said and hand it over to Yang " And good morning to you, too" She needed to find a way to tell Yang that she wanted to have a word with him, without Kageko noticing. She glanced him a meaninful look, unsure if it was enough.

" Is the rice cooked already?" she asked the girl, while rolling up the omelet.

"Five more minutes," Kageko replied, she had been keeping track of the time.
Yang said, "Thank you!" and picking up the green onion with his tail, whizzed by and dropped it next to Kageko as he went over to the refrigerator again. "What's everyone going to drink?" he asked into everyone's conscious. He had seen Ale's look, but he chose not to react to it, just in case Kageko suspected something despite the seal on her.
Kageko responded, "Milk as usual," as she quickly chopped up the green onions and slid them into the soy sauce, tossing the rest of it to Yin, {Catch,} who caught it with her tail and quickly dropped it into the vegetable cabinet in the refigerator, which she had opened in anticipation. She then picked up some bowl and a large, wooden spoon and headed to the pot of rice, ready to scoop out the rice when it was done. {Same here,} Yin responded to Yang's question.
Meanwhile, Kageko headed outside with the soy sauce and a number of other silverware and started setting up the table.

" Green tea with puffed rice, obviously" Ale replied ,and filled the boiler with water. Kids today knew nothing, she thought, while shaking her head. So, Yang wasn't as perceptive as she thought he was. Or maybe he was putting up an act, since Kageko was around. Ale sighed, and layed down the seaweed, waiting for the rice to finnish cooking.

Yang got the carton of milk out and set it on the table while Yin opened the pot and, using the wooden paddle, started mixing the rice so the different textures were evenly spread out. Kageko came back in and started pouring out the milk into a cup and two bowls while Yang went off to fill the teapot with water and put it to a boil. Kageko finished pouring out the milk and went outside to put it on the table and make some room in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Yang was now raiding the cupboards, trying to find green tea leaves. He came back out with a container full of the tea leaves and the rice. He then opened it and, using a spoon held in his tail, he took out the proper amount and put it into the tea pot. By then, Yin had already scooped out the first two bowls of rice and was now scooping the rice into plates for Yang and himself. "That enough?" Yang asked Ale for Yin, pointing to the rice.
(OOC: Did you lay the seaweed into the boiler or is the boiler for the tea?)
PostPosted: Sun Jan 10, 2010 2:51 pm

"It is." Ale replied. Actually, she hadn't planned the rice to be eaten like that, but since they wanted that way...
She decided to chop down the seaweed and spread it over the rice. She then picked up the sliced vegetables and the omelet and took them to the main room. "And thanks for the tea."

OOC- The boiler was for the tea. The seaweed was for making maki rolls, but nevermind that.

(OOC: Ooops.... Sorry sweatdrop .)
Yin got a tray and, loading up everything else onto it, followed Ale into the main room, where she finished setting up the table. While waiting for the tea to boil, Yang got the cups out. Meanwhile, Kageko organized the kitchen and started cleaning up and getting things ready to be cleaned up. She had been taught to get things ready before even eating, a lesson in both organization methods and speed and dexterity.
By the time the tea was done, Kageko had cleaned the knives and cutting board as well as the pan. The pot that the rice was cooked in will have to be done later because there was still some rice in it. She went over to where Yang had already poured out Ale's tea. {Make sure that the rice and tea stay warm,} she asked as she went out. Yang nodded and set the stove that they were on to a low heat and then followed Kageko out. Kageko placed the tea in front of Ale with a, "Here you go," and a smile and then went over to her spot. The inn didn't have any chopsticks so they were stuck with eating with forks and spoons but it didn't matter that much.

"Thank you" Ale said warmly, and waited for Kageko to seat down. She had heard the noise in the kitchen, and assumed that Kageko had been doing somw cleaning. "How well brough-up she was" Ale thought as she put her hand together and thanked for her meal. For other creatures had given up their lives so she could live her own, so at least a 'thank you' was expected.

Kageko silently did a thank you, as did Yin and Yang, but did no physical movement to show that she had done so. Then the three of them started eating quietly. To help Yang and Yin a bit, she put some food on both of their plates before she got anything for herself. {Thanks,} the two of them thought to her. {No problem,} she responded as she took a sip of milk to start off her meal.
