Pressing a gently kiss to the back of Zulma's hand as Shadow approached, he walked over to Solsol. "Could you tell me what's happened here in the last week or so..? They're busy between themselves, and something tells me I'm not getting an answer any time soon."

Angeles blinked out of her stupor and looked up at Zulma then back down, she felt a little better, at least enough to speak, "i don't know what happened," she said in a harsh whisper, "he was my mark... it makes sense now though, five hundred years without blood, why he killed all those people... but," she chocked back a sob and tightly closed her eyes for a moment, "he was free, and now he's back, I can only guess that another Valentine is behind it all."

Sosol gave a quick nod and set about making the gin and tonic, one of the easier cocktails he learned in his short stint at the Inn. He didn't want to think about what Gren had just asked...a bloodbath in the Inn. Impossible. Wasn't this place protected from things like that? That was half the reason he liked being here so much...a safe place outside of Azana's house. He placed the glass on the bar and looked between them.

"That won't happen...right?"

"Well, there's your answer, Sosol...I'm glad to hear that much, at least." Gren frowned, wondering how to approach such a delicate subject. "I'm guessing you don't want him in because this is a horribly unexpected and awkward reunion, right?"

"Hm. He and I have common ground...how strange," Sosol said, somewhat amused as he took a swig of ginger ale he had just poured for himself. His thoughts turned to Azana, wondering what was taking her so long to come back to the Inn. Sure, Gren and the others were making him feel competent, but it wasn't like her to be THIS late...

"Either of you see Azana recently...? She hasn't contacted me since she left MacPere's presence..."

Vincente came down, he was young again by the effect of a spree. The blood was washed clean away. "Ah, Gren, you've been gone for a while, how've you been?" He asked closing his book. He also gae his weapons to Erik for some reason.

Sosol nodded again, feeling kind of stupid for not thinking of the ideas himself, and began to open his link to Azana. His eyes glazed over as he checked on her, a rather non-invasive psychic exercise in remote viewing, and noticed that she was indeed on her way, though a lot later than she had claimed. Also, she had changed her look as well as the weaponry...always with some sort of weapon. Sosol never approved, though he understood the necessity for them in her hands.

Then the emotions came...anger, anxiety, and that stubborn determination of a woman on a mission. He wanted to ask why, but she seemed like the type to vent as soon as she had the chance.

Azana reached the Inn, only to find that there were bread crumbs and mustard seeds around the building, and a strange vampire at the door. Her hand instinctively began sparking a bit as she did what she had become accustomed to doing after the Cult Clash...

"Vampire, identify yourself and your intention!"

The vampire froze slightly before turning around, black hair contrasted greatly with his white attire and pale skin but matched his black eyes. The rats he had summoned were still eating away at the host crumbs, unconcerned about anything else except their meal. He felt somewhat insulted by the woman that looked ready to attack him, he was also tempted by the blood that ran through her veins, but right now, above all else, he wanted to get to Angeles, "I am Lucifer Valentine, my wife is inside, I need to be invited inside."

Angeles appeared in front of Gren to stop him, "Gren...," she began but could find nothing to say.
