Viz has posted a blog about their panels at SDCC this coming weekend. It turns out they will have a panel focused solely on the new IKKI imprint/online magazine, so the panel on Friday about all Viz manga/anime should hopefully not be just about Shonen Sunday (though they've already said they'll announce some of the new SS titles then).

NANA AND HONEY AND CLOVER ARE NOW ON HULU!!!!!!! : D

The first 11 episodes of NANA are available. They are SUBBED.

The first 12 episodes of honey and clover are available. They are also SUBBED.

According to the official NANA and honey and clover sites from Viz, it looks like the plan is to put more episodes on Hulu closer to when the next box sets come out.

Well Comic-Con was rather a dissapointment for Shojo Beat fans. The only thing that Viz did announce was that they licensed the Vampire Knight anime. There's no word on whether it's both seasons or just the first season. I know a lot of people are going to be ecstatic about this news, and it is nice, but it's sad that they talked more about the VIZKIDS line than about Shojo Beat. :[


Edited the Vampire Knight thread in the anime forum. Someone else had already started one (which is perfectly fine ;] ), so I edited just the first post, and used a quote at the bottom of the post to keep the original posters comment fully intact. I hope that's an alright solution for everyone, since no info was lost; there's just a little bit more now at the beginning of the thread.

Turns out it's not 13 regular episodes in the set, but 12 regular episodes and an extra, which makes more sense since there are 38 regular episodes total, which also means there should be 3 box sets. :]
~Added info about the 2nd NANA anime box set to the NANA anime thread.
~Based on the fact that the NANA anime is 47 episodes total, I'm guessing it will be 4 box sets since there are 11 episode included on the first set, which leaves 12 episodes for each of the other boxes.

~Found out that the Missin' novels by Novala Takemoto were released singly, as well as in a box set of both volumes. The individual volumes retail at $8.99 each and the box set is $16.99. I can't find the individual volumes for sale anywhere online (not even in the official Viz store), so I think they're trying to sell more of the box sets.
~Cactus Secret is now official called Cactus's Secret.
