thank you so much for the list.. its really a big help.. i was kinda aiming for ace meow.. i think that's the cheapest one right now.. can't believe that it went up so high..XD

You're welcome. Looks like you got it already. cat_3nodding Just checked the Marketplace listings and the cheapest one is now 480,000g. cat_eek

OMG you're right!!! cat_surprised the last time I saw it at the marketplace it was lower than 100,000.. now she's worth more than Angus the Scottie Plushie.. You're correct about the inflation thing.. You can never tell.. cat_xd I'm really thankful that I received one from Scarlet.. or else I wouldn't have made it.. lol.. I'm really happy I joined this guild.. cat_4laugh

Since I don't think there was a sudden "demand" for Ace Meows, I don't think it's true inflation, and it's most likely because somebody bought up a lot of the listings (and are possibly reselling them at a higher price). It'll probably be back down at its normal price tomorrow.

I wonder how many other items jump around like that? I'll sometimes go through my inventory to donate stuff I'm not using, and about 5% of the time when I click on something I thought was worth 100g or less, it'll say Avg. Market Price: 5,000,000g. cat_eek At one point, I tried listing an item (Wine Hippie Shoes, I think, which can also be bought from the store for 150g, so they should be immune from the inflation) for one of those oddly-inflated prices that I saw it selling for recently, just to see what would happen, and someone bought it for 300,000g. cat_question I wonder what they were doing.

We're glad to have you here, too. emotion_hug

I just checked the Market Place its only for 75g.. lol.. Maybe I'll try to watch out for items like that.. Hopefully I'll be lucky like you.. cat_razz I don't usually look at the inflation or the demand of the items.. I only look for the once that are cheapest.. Then that's the one I'm gonna aim to buy 1st.. I guess I should start reading the graphs too.. cat_xp

Well, by "store" I meant the gold shop (seems to be Junk in the Trunk). In the Marketplace, they often sell for about half for what you can buy in the gold shops, but sometimes they'll actually sell for more than the gold shop's prices. I only managed to get someone to buy one of those oddly-inflated items once. I don't think I ever got anything else like that to sell. I mainly vend other items, but I also like to sell whatever items I have in my inventory. I tend to get good items in the Daily Chance and from the Aquarium Overseer, so I can just sell those. cat_razz I noticed it's also a good idea to collect those Wing Stickers that appear around events, because if you use them to buy stuff from The Treehouse, you can make a decent amount from selling the items from there. Of the ones I checked, it's looking like the Grombie 2k13 Potion Stage 3 has the best "sticker to gold" ratio so far. cat_razz

But if you don't have any expensive items to sell, you can always list the random items from the Daily Chance for ridiculous prices. cat_xp I think the ones most likely to spike are usually the ones that have already had an inflation spike in the past year (might want to switch the graphs so it's by 1 Year, not 1 Month). I've been seeing a lot of spikes for the Hippie Shoes, which is why I picked those last time. cat_smile

Argh.. I should have discovered this guild sometime ago and was able to talk to you.. I didn't know that I would be able to use the wing stickers in one of the stores. you see one of my friends sent me a link where I can get free wing stickers everyday. I thought that it has no use so I ended up only having 2. I posted the link in another thread here in the guild, Free Items. They just updated this 1/2/14. cat_3nodding

And yes most of my stuff are from the daily chance too and Aquarium Overseer so I see to it that i log in everyday so I get nice stuff.. cat_xd

Thanks for the tip about the graphs.. emotion_yatta By the way, how do you look for oddly-inflated items.. Do you like stalk the marketplace or something.. Just curios.. cat_sweatdrop

I noticed collecting stickers is a lot more effective if you have mules to get multiple stickers a day. Even with only one account, though, it looks like (with the inflation) you could make about 300,000g a month if you collect most of the stickers. If you manage to buy items with the highest sticker-to-gold ratio, stickers become worth about 10,000g each, and with mules, it looks like a pretty effective way to make money. Unfortunately, the stickers don't seem to be available all the days of the year, and are mainly around during the events. Maybe they're worth so much because people forget to check them when they're not around the whole year?

I don't really look for the oddly-inflated items as much as I tend to stumble across them when I notice the average Marketplace price for an item from my inventory. I look through my inventory a lot because my Daily Chance items tend to accumulate, and I often either sell the cheaper items for a small amount of gold or I donate it. I don't directly sell my items as much anymore though, because there's been plenty of gold in circulation, and not enough items, so now I donate them when it's worth too little for me to bother selling it on the Marketplace (maybe worth 1,000g or less), and I list the more expensive ones in the Marketplace, usually for more than it would have sold from my inventory, but still less than the gold shops. I sometimes get Angel Imp Potions, which I used to instantly sell for 12,000g because I was lazy, but now I'll just list them in the Marketplace for 20,000g because then people don't have to pay the full price, but I still make more than if I sold it from my inventory. Win-win-win. cat_3nodding

Come to think of it, some of my friends also have made mule accounts, it never crossed my mind that they'll be earning more that way. The mere everyday gold bonus that's given by the Welcoming Fairy will give you some and then add the one time grants per account for items that are given by gaia. (and of course those stickers, The next time they show up.. i'll be ready to grab 'em all.. xp )

It's actually nice of you to give away those things to who are in need. I have visited some threads that do some inventory clean up as well. They either give away their stuff or they give others that they don't like anymore for a low price. I hope that in time I'll be able to run a charity as well. But first I need to study the flow of the market. And watch which items are good to invest in.

And your correct about the Ace Meow. They are slowly going down once again. They back at about 100,000g or less. rofl i love your avee by the way.. more classy version of ace.. whee whee

I don't think I've ever even seen the Welcoming Fairy, and even older users that have been around for while have gotten money from her through a glitch, but most of the money I make was not from making a new account, even though it sounds like a few people have made dozens of accounts just for the free gold you get from the newbie tutorials. For me, it just sounded like some miniscule amount (10 or 20 thousand per account?) that wasn't worth my time, as I can often get that amount from a single Angel Imp Potion (which I've gotten on all of my accounts numerous times by checking my Aquariums). To get prizes from the Aquarium Overseer, you always have to have at least one fish in your Aquarium, but since they often give out free fish in the Daily Chance, you can always have a filled tank (not useful for Booty Grab) to get the Overseer prizes. Because I'm lazy (and have a slow-loading Aquarium), I put the Overseer right above the option to feed my fish, so as soon as I click on Loamflakes, it clicks the Overseer at the same time. cat_razz

Mules are also useful if you plan to fill up your Marketplace store with items that don't sell very quickly (the oddly-inflated items, for example). A single account can have up to 20 slots (you get an extra 10 when you get the Tycoon achievement), and each mule can hold another 20 slots. Almost ironically, it's easier to get the Tycoon achievement if you have a mule to buy the items from your main account (then do the same for the mules). Every time one of your items sell, it'll add that amount to your total Marketplace sales even if you're not making a profit (you can list an item, have your mule buy and relist it, then buy it again, over and over again, and it'll raise your total Marketplace sales). Using purely this method, it should only cost 20,000g per account (the Marketplace tax will take 2% of the gold out of every transaction) to make your total Marketplace sales reach 1,000,000g. Having 20 slots have been useful for me on multiple occasions, and should eventually pay for themselves if you use them.

Given how erratic the prices in the Marketplace are now, I don't actually know which items are best for investing in anymore. The prices are high, and if they suddenly put that item on sale, it probably won't go back to the same price you bought it at. In the past, I mainly just bought items (mainly Walking Dead Grab Bags, as they usually seem to be the best deal) from the Cash Shop using the Gaia Cash I got from the free video offers, but like most people, I don't really think Gaia deserves the money anymore, so I stopped watching the video offers, which means I can't buy the Walking Dead Grab Bags with Gaia Cash anymore. Economy-wise, they're still a lot better to buy than gold generators, as they create more rare items instead of gold, but I haven't bought them anyway because it still gives Gaia more money, and I don't think things will get any better until the current management gives up on making a profit from this site and (hopefully) sells it to someone else. If I still watched the video offers, I could probably afford to buy all the Cheshire Kittens I want, because only those who are willing to spend real money (or video offer money) are able to buy anything at a decent price anymore. cat_stare

Lol.. I'm kinda depending on the Welcoming Fairy right now since I do not have much money at the moment. That's why I look at making other accounts as sorta like a gold mine. XD

And uhm.. Since you mentioned the Angel Imp Potion a lot. I tried to look it at the MP to know what it is but simply says that "It's light as a feather!". I'm just curious what it does. Would it turn you into an angel or something? (So sorry, total noob talking). As of now I haven't gotten any Angel Imp POtion from my aquarium yet. But I'm looking forward in getting one since you suggested it. By the way, does the Aquarium Overseer work same way like the daily chance? Do you need to be able to click it once it glows so that you'll get a chance to get the Angel Imp Potion?

Didn't know that there was MP tax too. Haven't tried listing any items from my store yet. Never tried selling. As of now the things to get things done I do it by trade. So that's why others tend to sell their items through the Gaia Exchange..XD

As for Gaia Cash. Haven't got a chance to buy. I don't realy intend to spend real money in Gaia. I'm okay with striving to gain things without any money spent.. XD I've tried to wtch the video as an attempt to be able to get the free vest that they are giving out. Turns out you need to be able gain 1oo Gaia Cash in 1 shot toget it. I ended up only getting 1 Gaia Cash for that. I'm 99 Gaia csh short.. I think there's also an option to be able to get about 50 Gaia Cash. That is if you try registering at Meet Me and invite friends over or something. I haven't tried it yet though. I have been able to browse that there have been a lot of complaints about how they make the items so pricey as if that you won't be able to get any decent items unles you buy Gaia Cash that will support your quest.

I think Angel Imp Potions can be used in Alchemy, but I believe their main purpose is to transform your human avatar into something that gives you giant angel wings on your ears, and white legs with clawed feet. You can preview how it would look in Skin Tyte, but you can't preview it from the Marketplace. You don't equip potions like a normal item (or Were-Item), as you have to go to your inventory and drink it to see its effects, and after you drink it, it disappears. But it will permanently replace your default human avatar until you drink a different potion (like a Human Potion, which will let you go back to being human). Some non-human avatars won't work well with some items, and I assume Angel Imp avatars will have a hard time finding any shoes to wear. cat_razz

You can get a prize from the Overseer once a day, and you have to click on it to get the prize. Once your Aquarium fully loads (if your browser/computer can handle Aquariums), the Overseer should be open and glowing until you click on it, but you still have to have at least one fish in your Aquarium (and if it's the first day you put any in, you'll have to wait until the next day). If you didn't put in any fish, or if all of the fish have died (the depressing part to owning an Aquarium), then the Overseer will be closed, and you can't collect any prizes that day, or any further days until you put more fish in. Aside from needing fish to be in the tank (and maybe being harder to open because it's Flash-based), it's pretty similar to the Daily Chance prizes, but they usually have different prizes, and are worth a little more (but maybe mine are worth more because my tank has a high happiness level). Speaking of the Daily Chance, the rarity of the prizes can depend on how regularly you log in. If you don't log in consistently, the Daily Chance carts might be colored red (prizes are worth less), and if you log in most of the time (I think 6 days out of the week?), the carts will be colored yellow, which means the prizes will be worth more. I've tried both carts, and I've seen a noticeable difference in how much the prizes are worth. The worth of the "red prizes" are usually worth 50g or less, while the "yellow prizes" are often worth hundreds of gold. Plus, with the yellow Daily Chance carts, I believe there's a higher chance of receiving a Philosopher's Cache. They're not as common in the Daily Chance as they used to be because they released them for gold in The Bifrost, and they're also worth less now (they used to be worth hundreds of thousands of gold), but an occasional 50,000g isn't bad.

I don't bother using the Gaia Exchange just to get around the 2% tax (in fact, I don't think I've ever used it), as the amount of gold I save wouldn't be worth the time it takes trying to sell it that way, and it should also help lower inflation slightly. However, if Gaia did go through with one of their past suggestions to raise the Marketplace tax, I would probably avoid selling anything through the Marketplace, especially if they raised to to 10%, which they were considering. Luckily, they actually listened to us for once and dropped it. Although from the sounds of it, it wasn't even their idea, and they didn't push for it because it wouldn't give them any money, and they don't care about the inflation at all. Meh.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why they make special deals with a catch like that. I thought "money was money," but I guess not. There was a deal sent to everybody via Private Message once (which was weird) where they offered to give you 25 Flynn's Booty if you spent $5 of real money (video offers don't count). Not only that, there were a lot of people who claimed they never even got their Flynn's Booty even after following all of the instructions. They didn't get a refund either. Me, I didn't even bother, not because I already knew Flynn's Booty was pure evil, but because I just thought it was really rude to spam my inbox with ads when they never did that before. My boycott of gold generators started earlier than most people's, but for a different reason. cat_razz

I've also heard a lot of people claim the non-video offers require you to sign up for stuff, which will almost always lead to your email getting spammed, or they could give you a virus. Since I'm not keen on the idea of either of those, I just stuck with the video offers, which seem to be much safer. Even though a lot of the video offers are only worth a couple of Gaia Cash at a time, I've seen some that are worth a lot more. Strangely, they'll often stick non-videos in with the video offers (often asking you to sign up for a gaming site or something), which I found a little annoying. I was fine with most of them, as long as they didn't ask me to sign up for anything, and they're usually the ones that give you the most, and you can sometimes do them multiple times. Some are short surveys, some are minigames, and some would just ask you to "look at the deals on our site," and all you have to do is have the site load and you'll get the Gaia Cash. They usually ranged in payout from 1 GC each to 30 or 40-ish each (I think one might have been over 60), but that still wouldn't be enough to get the vest. Speaking of which, despite what you have to do to get the vest, the Marketplace price for it is only about 1,000g, so I think it would be easier if you just bought it there. cat_razz

I'm not sure if they're inflating items on purpose or not, but given how much they're ignoring the complaints, it almost seems like they are. It doesn't seem like they would make more money by annoying people though. cat_confused There's been complaints about a lot of other stuff, too. Were you around for "the centering of the site?" Unlike the poll about raising the Marketplace tax, they did not go with the majority vote, and had to word things carefully to keep it subtle.

Site Centering Coming Soon!

Just wanted to let you know that, coming soon, we'll be making Gaia Online a centered site!

We thank everyone for the feedback they provided in Sisky's thread poll on this topic. While we understand that some people might not like this idea, centering the site opens up more opportunities with partners and events for us to take advantage of. According to the poll numbers, over half of you either want a centered site or are neutral about the issue. Some of the negativity came from concerns that centering forums and guilds would break post styles, so we are happy to tell you this update won't impact those areas at this time, only the main site design. In the future, these areas may also be centered, but until some of those concerns can be better addressed they will remain as they are.

"Yes," was the least popular of all of the options, yet they decided to declare those who were neutral as being on the "yes" side. cat_neutral

Okay got it. Thanks for telling me that. I thought that there were no way for me to see the possible appearance that one may have if one chooses to use the potion. Now I'm certain, I think I'll pass drinking the potion and sell it in the MP instead if I happen to get 1. Since I will need to drink a new potion to be normal again. cat_xd

I'll keep in mind to put atleast 1 fish in my tank to mak sure to get those goodies. ^^ It would nice I get the chance to get atleast 1 Philosopher's Cache. Any type of help will do for my quest. (Still thinking on what to do and say there).

As the saying goes "Time is money". Not that I think about it, if you choose to put up your items for sale at the MP you will still have spare time to do other stuff while other Gaians look at your items for sale. If you choose to post in the Gaia Exchange, yes, you will be able to avoid the tax but will take some time to and wait for people who might be interested in such an item. However, there are still those who stalk the area to be able to offer lower price than that is offered at the MP.

Good thing that the tax did not go up to 10%. That will truly suck out the earnings that the Gaians did by vending things in the market. Looking at their point of view, maybe they are really that desperate in gaining more profit from this site since it is 1 of their goals to earn as much as possible from it. But if I think that if they keep on doing this, chances are the Gaians that are greatly affected by the inflation will decide to give up and leave instead thus leaving them with less consumers, less income.

Never really bothered with Flynn's Booty since it needs to spend real money. However, if it was their intention to have these things sent as promos for the consumers they should stick with it. There should be at least something sent to your friend to compensate what happened to her. This will greatly effect their ratings in the long run if they keep on doing this to their clients.

Yes, I visited the part of the site where in you need to purchase or to sign up for other companies' products in order to have some Gaia Cash in exchange. It would be nice if it will only be surveys though. cat_whee XD And thanks for the advice. I have already given up with the offers and still waiting for the next video that might be available for free Gaia Cash. Given the info that you've given me, I think that you are right, it will be much easier to buy it from MP instead. cat_sweatdrop

That post was hilarious. Its as if they already have decided on things and used the poll just to inform the Gaians about the upcoming change that will be happening. cat_rofl cat_rofl cat_rofl XD

Well, the Human Potions are a lot cheaper by comparison (100g), so buying the potion itself isn't the expensive part as much as not being able to sell the Angel Imp Potion afterwards. cat_razz

I believe if you post in the Gaia Exchange, you're much more likely to get PM offers and frequent bids (which may be the point?), which takes up a lot more time than I'm in the mood for. Even putting up items in the Marketplace will sometimes get people to ask for a discount, especially for the more expensive items. A lot of times when I put up an item worth millions (Bamf the German Shepherd, for example), it's almost guaranteed that someone will ask for a discount, often for less than half of what you're asking for. I don't particularly like turning people down, so I'm usually happy if it sells before I get a chance to respond to them so I have that excuse instead of having to say something along the lines of "sorry, no, I want to sell it for a price that you consider to be unreasonable," so with the more expensive items, I might put them on a mule that has its PMs and profile comments set to Friends (or just No if they have a lot of friends that could see the listing). If you're going to have multiple mules, I find it's easier to vend (assuming you don't like negotiating) if you have at least one mule that doesn't allow friend requests, PMs, or profile comments. If you want to keep it "friends free," you may want to avoid posting with it, or using it in Flash Spaces. If it's not very well known, it can also be useful for storing important (really rare, expensive, or has sentimental value) items and gold in case someone hacks into your main account. Even though I've heard a large percentage of people claim they've been hacked multiple times, I don't think I've ever had a single instance of someone breaking into my accounts, and I've been here for years and have gotten pretty well-known as someone with a lot of money, so I would assume I'm a good target. cat_ninja

We wouldn't even need a higher Marketplace tax if they would stop releasing gold generators all the time. If I understand the reasoning behind swapping out the CEOs, I think they hired him because they heard he was good at raising the overall profit margin for websites? When they first did that, I don't think they were desperate for money quite yet (even if acting like you are is a good marketing scheme), but given what most members seem to be saying, I would assume the current CEO's decisions has convinced most members to spend less than usual or stop spending entirely, so unless firing those staff members saves them enough money to make up for it, I think they're losing money now. Of course, if they were, wouldn't they be trying harder to get back on our good side?

Well, if you are going to watch the video offers, just make sure not to buy any gold generators. We don't want to encourage them, or make the economy worse.

I'm not sure what they were thinking with the whole centering thing. I think this happened after we got the new CEO, so looking back from now, it's not surprising. I'm still not fully sure what was going through their minds when they decided to put up the poll, but I'm thinking they might have been so sure we were going to say yes, that they wanted to "get on our good side by asking first," then it blew up in their face when they saw the poll. On TV shows, I've often seen scenarios where character A asks character B if they can go somewhere (a concert, maybe), character B is glad that they asked, but says no. Then character A awkwardly says, "I thought you would say yes, so I already bought the tickets..." Then character B gets madder than if character A simply informed them they were going to do something. They also could have been planning to give up on the idea if the poll was even more against the idea, so maybe 80% to 90% of people had to say no (not neutral) for them to drop the idea. cat_confused

I like the idea of having a mule that will strictly for vending. And like a security safe account to store your stuff.

Actually I recently received an email from another Gaian recently. She was claiming to be one of the NPCs here. She was asking me to change the password (which she provided) on my account for there were several attempts to hack my account. I found it very suspicious so i did a search on her. Turns out, the account was only made on the same day that I received the email. There might be tons of password phishing attempts here that's why there were accounts that were hacked. If your not too careful they might just barge in to your account and take everything in it.

I read you thread regarding the Flynns Booty and the MP Tax increase. The way I see it, Flynns Booty is one of their ways on controlling the flow of the economy here in Gaia. It is also one of their main income generators. They only send them out occasionally for them not to be able to highly affect the economy's status and will give excitement to those who are looking forward to buying such items.

As for the MP tax increase. I think due to the fact that they only released this information to the public after 3 days it was not really their main intention. Since increasing the MP tax would have a higher effect to the economy the Gaians will greatly object about this. They used this as a tactic to distract you from their main objective, which is to lessen the noise in the Flynn Booty riot.

Since this is one of their profit generating program, there's a low possibility that they will remove this completely. They may lessen the release of these, but they will still find some other ways wherein they can incorporate the same concept but not completely the same as usual to lessen or remove the noise that was developed thru time.

If ever that the management will be able to get some other ideas to serve as their source of income which provides almost the same amount of income generating campaign or more then maybe that will be the time where they will stop the Flynn's Booty.

At the moment it I am not that quite interested in the Flynn's booty thing. I'll rather buy some neat stuff from the store for Gcash than buy some random luck gold generator. I'll observe the flow 1st then maybe I may or maybe not.

I have gotten a few PMs that were obviously looking for my password (including the ones that say "come to this website and you'll get a bunch of free gold!"), but I only seem to get them once a year, maybe less. I don't remember if I ever put them on Ignore or not, but if I did, that might explain why I wouldn't get multiple PMs from a single password phishing account. I also reported them. I'm not entirely sure, but I think if enough accounts at a single IP address gets banned, they might ban the whole IP address. I might be misremembering, and I don't know where I read that.

Even though gold generators do seem to have a rabid fanbase, the percentage of people that like them is only between 5 and 15%. Everybody else just despises the things. I think of gold generators in a similar way to secondhand smoke. You may not smoke yourself (use gold generators), but you're still going to develop health problems (suffer from the inflation) just because of those who decide to use them. The main difference between smoking and gold generators would probably be that people who smoke are usually worse off than those just exposed to secondhand smoke, while those who use gold generators are less affected by the inflation, but (in my opinion) it's all the more annoying to put yourself at an unfair advantage while ruining the economy for everyone else at the same time. Kind of like robbing a bank and getting away with it. cat_razz

The whole "raising the Marketplace tax" debate didn't really last for very long, so it probably wouldn't work well as a distraction. It might have worked for a week or so, but then they kept releasing gold generators later without a similar distraction.

Yeah, the people in charge now seem pretty determined to keep releasing these. If enough people stop giving money to Gaia just because they're annoyed about it, they may eventually lose more money than if they just stopped (that's the plan, anyway). If they change CEOs again, they would probably stop releasing them then, too. Depends on their attitude, though.

If I understand the approximate ratio of how much money it costs to buy a typical gold generator, and how much it gives out, I think it would still give you more gold to buy a Walking Dead Grab Bag (which is why I chose them).

It costs about $10 to buy a Flynn's Booty (usually), and on average, I believe it'll give out about 2,000,000g or so?

It costs $3 to buy a Walking Dead Grab Bag, and they're selling in the Marketplace (because of the inflation) for about 2,000,000g as well.

And even though gold generators have a chance to give out way more than the average, so do Walking Dead Grab Bags, if you open them. After I noticed the total worth of items within the bag (they always gave me 5 items per bag) were selling for about the same price or more than the bag, and with the chance of getting another Bamf, I just started opening all of them. Plus, there was that guy who said he opened some of my Walking Dead Grab Bags and got two Bamfs out of them. cat_eek Oh well, at least I have one. cat_razz

I see, I did report that user but I didn't put her in the ignore list yet. Maybe I'll do that later. Good to hear that there are only a minimal attempts for password phishing. I thought that there were tons of them since I just received 1 and I just started here in Gaia.

True, there's a possibility that the percentage of those people who are still waiting for the releases of these gold generators may be that small, but if those Gaians are the ones that provides the highest percentage of income for these site I don't think that they will be removing this items any time soon. I hope that they will be able to find other ways to earn so that this will not affect the Gaian economy that much. It's always those who are at the bottom of the economy who suffers the most.

Thanks for informing me about the Walking Dead Grab Bags. I'll try to buy 1 in the future if I can sort of afford it. It would really be nice if I get a Bamf once i open it. As per the MP, it's up for about 50,000,000g but it doesn't show any data with regards of its fluctuation through the years. Was this item recently released. I was not able to see any Bamf in the Were-item guides.

It might have just been a coincidence that you got an attempt for your password just after you started, but it could also depend on what you tend to do on Gaia. If you're not easily findable, you won't get as many password attempts, if any. Even though I do a lot of stuff on Gaia, I don't seem to post in the forums that much, or play in the Flash Spaces every day, so that could explain why I don't get as many PMs anymore. I'm not sure what areas of the site are most likely to have those kinds of people.

Given that Gaia has put out the Angelic Halo for $1,000 multiple times now, I assume that means that some people are willing to spend ridiculous amounts on this site. Since a lot of the people who like gold generators seem to think it's the best thing Gaia's ever released (they post in my petition saying how great it is and that everyone else is stupid), I wouldn't be surprised if the few hundred people who love them (out of the 30 thousand or so active users) are buying such large amounts of them, that they alone could be funding Gaia (or at least make up for what those boycotting Gaia Cash are taking out).

If I recall, it didn't take too long to save up $3 worth of Gaia Cash to buy one. Of course, since I also did it on my mules, I got them much more often... cat_ninja

It looks like it was released back October of 2011, so it's been out for a while, possibly even longer than any other CI in the Cash Shop. The graphs for it only go back a year, though. Sometimes someone will list an item for a higher than usual price once all of the other listings has disappeared, but I don't think many people will actually buy it at 50,000,000g. Even 4,000,000g is unlikely until inflation goes up more (not that I'm hoping it will). I didn't make any guides on Bamf yet, but I'm hoping I (or someone else?) will have time to make them again soon. Probably won't be for a while, though. I can however, answer individual questions about Were-Items much faster, so if there's anything you want to know, you can just ask. cat_3nodding

That might be a good reason. Maybe I just caught their attention when I was running around those Flash spaces. Oh well, guess I just ned to be vigilant or those kinds of people.

They have put up Angelic Halo that much? This month's collectable item was only for $2.50. xd : That is a very huge difference. (I guess that they think that there will be more demand for those) I personally think that putting a petition is nice. This way you will be one o the people representing the whole crowd who hates the eects of these things in the economy. I tbelieve in the freedom of speech. People should respect other's opinion and try to look at the possibile reason why they are doing such things not just act out of their emotions or something. There is always a reason for people's behavior.

I just checked. I still have a long way to go. It's worth 299 GC. So far I was only able to watch 1 video to earn a GC. I seriously think I really need to make mules already. :XP

Oh thanks for the info. I thought it was just recently released coz there were no info in the charts. I hope I can help you with it, unfortunately I don't know much of were-animals as of the moment. I'm kinda relying on the guides as of the moment. This guild is actually a great help. And I get to have additional gold from your RNG Contest too every now and then..

I think they're trying to keep certain items rare by putting a high price tag on it. Still, that's a bit excessive, and I don't know who would buy it. I don't think they've ever sold anything for more than that, but they have tried selling items for hundreds of dollars multiple times.

Yeah, most people like (or are neutral about) my petitions. That actually sounds like what they said about centering the site. cat_eek I think this one about gold generators is the most popular out of all of them. I think my second most popular petition was to fix a glitch that made the majority or Were-poses annoying to use in Flash Spaces. Luckily, they fixed it, so I closed it. cat_3nodding

When those who were against my petition posted, I legitimately tried to understand what they were thinking, but I just couldn't follow them at all. One of them literally talked like a queen (dressed like one, too), saying something about how "the chest has brought many tidings." cat_question They would sometimes try to explain their "logic," and it didn't matter how many times I reread it, it just didn't make sense. I'm thinking they only care about themselves, but they also don't want to look selfish, or they don't think of themselves as selfish. It could be they really just don't understand how gold generators work, which wouldn't be surprising either.

When I watched videos before, there would often be days (which was most of the time) where there were very few, if any, videos to watch. Sometimes, even switching to a mule wouldn't give you more chances to watch videos (they check your IP address maybe?). You also can't trade, gift, or sell Gaia Cash, so you can't combine the Gaia Cash you got on your mules to your main account (which also applies to those Wing Stickers). However, when they do start putting out lots of videos, especially the ones from SocialVibe, they're often worth a decent amount, and your mules can usually do most of them, too. Even if you can't transfer the Gaia Cash, it does add up faster with mules.

Bamf is apparently so rare or so expensive, it doesn't show up in any of the graphs. The one that I meant to say had graphs were the Walking Dead Grab Bags, which are much easier to come across.

A lot of the guides are outdated, but other than the lack of mentioning a recolor or saying it has the Red Box Glitch, they shouldn't be too bad. The part saying where they can be obtained shouldn't change much, unless they do more re-releases.
