Villain HQ (This is where the RP takes place)

Tosda was more than surprised by the attack, which explained his flailing at first as he fail. Once he realized what had happened, he pointed himself headfirst towards the ground, plummeting faster and faster towards the earth. About fifty feet above the ground, he disappeared, changing from corundum into wind.

Of course, his momentum didn't stop, so he still the ground hard, spreading out his wind body wide. This forced him to return to his normal form as he was out cold from the effort to reform his body.

"Since when do ghosts get guns?" Static yelled in frustration as he launched a strong beam of energy at the gun. It would either make the bullets explode before firing, or it would do what he planned on doing: grabbing the gun. He was hoping to get a magnetic hold on the gun and yank it away from the ghost.

Whether or not he yanked depended on if the overcharged blast made the bullets explode.

"Gee, looks like my intern just beat yours. Some teacher you are." Nightwing called down tauntingly to Reflect. "Question is, you going to help him or fight me?" he asked from his perch on a flagpole. He was ready Reflect to snap and attack, so he had one hand behind his back, waiting.

"Good job." he said out of the corner of his mouth to Shimmer.

Hearing this praise from Nightwing he did a small jig in place but stopped suddenly halfway through. A look of horror passed over his eyes as the last few moments replayed in his head. Running down to street level, he dashed to the unconsious Tosda. "Hey there, you alright?Hello? Are you alright?" The Shimmer tapped Tosda on the face to try and wake him up. He had only planned to drop him from high enough to knock up some more dust and the wind out of him. Looking up at Re-flect, The Shimmer said to him, "You got any way to get him back up and make sure he's okay?" Frustrated, he yelled out to anyone able to hear, "Can anyone make sure this guy is alright?"

Nightwing shot off a grappling hook, and swung down, grabbing Shimmer by the waist and swinging up to the fire escape of the building he had hooked.

"Bad guy will be fine. And next time you do that, I want you to know that those guys down there will kill you without even thinking about it." Nightwing said, setting Shimmer down on the fire escape. "Never rush in like that again." he added sternly. Last thing he needed was yet another dead intern on his hands.

When Nightwing set him back in safety, The Shimmer could feel the moment passing, but he turned to Nightwing and said, "I need to step out of a moment. Have Ivory step in to help and I'll protect the cops. I have to talk to one of them about something anyways. Besides, I can protect them better by teleporting them to the HQ until everything's done and over. Then you can comm me and I'll bring them right back." The Shimmer smiled sheepishly as he made his excuse to clear his head in the middle of a fight.

"Go, but don't take them to headquarters. Keep them up there unless it is needed to move them." Nightwing instructed Shimmer. "Tell Ivory to take up a back-up position at the adjacent building." he added.

Running up the fire escape, The Shimmer got up to Ivory and informed him of Nightwing's decision. After that he turned to Brent, "What are you doing in Vancouver? I didn't think I had embarrassed you enough to make you move out of the country."

Ivory nodded. "Alright, tag, I'm in. Later killer cop, hot partner." he nodded at the pair before heading over to the side of the roof. Bone spikes grew out of his fingers, encasing his hands in what looked like clawed gloves.

With those in place, he simply walked over the side of the roof, keeping his hands off the side of the building. Once he was close to where he was supposed to be, he slammed his hands into the building, growing the claws as he did so.

His descent slowed until he was stopped at ground level. Yea, he was disobeying a direct order on where to be, but he felt more comfortable fighting on the ground.

Lillith simply rolled her eyes when Ivory called her Brent's 'hot partner'. But a little bit of a blush couldn't be hidden from her face, no matter how hard she tried to will it away. "So, anyways. It is about time Brent and I either helped you guys out or headed off. We have more important things to do than just sit around while the city goes to s**t around us." She said as she dusted herself off and stood up. "Which do you prefure we do?" She asked shimmer as she crossed her arms.

A good amout of bullets made it out of the gun before Static really even had time to react to the change in tactics Lincat bestowed. And, as Lincat didn't want to give up the only AK-47 he had stocked up, he had it vanish into his arm before the beam could hit it. And, with Static having been distracted with trying to get rid of the gun, Lincat had already sent a blast of energy at the child.

"Well, what can you do? I mean, Brent here loses track of wealthy children, but what do you do?" The Shimmer tried to sound like a leader when he was already confused.

Static took the blast head on, making him fall off his disc and onto the street below. He knew the Reaper would probably be coming after him quickly, so he let loose some of his energy, forming a swirling ball of energy around himself. So getting to the young hero would mean the equivalent of grabbing powerlines.

Lillith berated herself inside her head, she hadn't wanted anyone to know about her powers. But she could play it off, it wasn't hard to do. So she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "I'm not useless without powers you know. Guns hurt them just the same as abilities do." She explained. "Now, either let us help or we are going to have to be going."

Lincat restrained himself from letting out a triumphant whoop, and just headed over as fast as he could to finnish the job. To bad for him, Static put up the barrier just as Lincat had reached him. He let out a startled and pained sort of cry before jumping away. His entire arm was now invisible, and shortly after, the rest of him followed suit. "You can't stay like that forever." He snarled threateningly. He only said that to fool Static into thinking he was staying about waiting. But no, he decided that if he couldn't get to the child, he would go after the cops. He knew they were still nearby, and it didn't take long to find them.
"Oh, hello again." Lincat said as he appeared, crouched, straight behind Brent and Lillith. "I've missed you." He said with a smile that made him look even more insane than he acctually was.. if that was possible... At least for the moment, he didn't seem to be trying to hard to kill anyone.

Trying to look as in control as he could, The Shimmer straightened his face and stood as tall as he could. "Don't come any closer, Boo," but at that point he couldn't help but loose a snicker at his bad pun of the spectre in front of him. Regaining his stance he continued, "So, since I'm looking right at you, you can't move can you?"

{Reaper}

Frostbite watched as the interns combined their powers. Suddenly water and stone were flying at him. He stood at the ready, waiting for the blast. At the last moment the boulders picked up speed. Frostbite reacted quickly, literally flinging his aura forward with his mind. Every stone that hit the aura froze solid, also freezing the water within, causing the water to expand instantly, shattering the boulders. Right after throwing the piece of aura, he charged his power around him, creating a spherical ice shield around himself. Although the boulders were destroyed, he still had to deal with the left over debris. A shower of ice and stone rained down on his ice sheild. Unfortunatly, one of the larger rocks busted through his barrier, smacking him dead in his plated jaw. Frostbite's neck cracked as he snapped it back into a normal position.

Terron watched as Frostbite shattered his massive boulders. For a moment he thought this guy couldn't be touched, however, once a single stone made it's way through the ice man's shield and hit him, Terron was a little more comfortable. He backed up a little as to put some more space between himself and the zombie-like frost man. "Kid," he said to Vepo, "..... Y'know, first off what's your name?" Terron kept his eyes glued on Frostbite. "Secondly, I think we need a new plan, because I don't think we're getting anywhere."

Sid saw his student fall to the ground unconcious. If that wasn't enough, Nightwing was insulting him. His eyes closed once more as his head lowered, keeping him from noticing the teleporters actions. When he opened them again, flames coiled around his limbs. "You really shouldn't have done that." His voice was directed at Nightwing. Pieces of stone rose into the air. "Hurting my intern is already a no no." Sparks shot from his fingertips. "Insulting me... that puts a death mark on your head." He paused for only a moment. Sid sped across the battlefield, then up the building wall to Nightwing at the fire escape. "Dodge this, bird boy!!!!" His fist flew forward, sending stone, flame, and electricity directly at him.

(Tick... Tick... BOOM!!!)

Brent turned swiftly to see Reaper. After hearing Geraldo make his crack, he shook his head. "Boy, you always were more into to video games than doing something useful. As for you." he said to Reaper, who at the moment was making him pretty uneasy to say the least. "You need to stop following me. Since a restraining order is pointless, and my cuffs would never hold you, I guess THIS..." the words came out so forceful it created a 'hard' concussion wave, blasting Reaper head on, "will have to do."

(BTW, Impact has levels of blasts so you guys can react... here they are:

little blast: used to make people stumble (would feel like a bit of wind to reaper)

normal blast: used to knock people to the ground (would feel like a punch to reaper)

hard blast: ment to push even cars over (hits reaper like a a small car)

hardcore blast: used to send just about anything in the way flying (would send reaper flying hundreds of feet)

Seeing his surprise attack fail, he turned to Terron, "My name's Vepo in costume, and I think I might have a plan. I've been watching how he defends, and he never moves. I'll distract him and when his focus is on me, you can cover him in earth, fling him into a building, and remove the earthen covering as he hits it," Vepo explained with hope on his face. With that he surfed off and started pelting water balls at Frostbite as fast as he could and yelled, "You sure make a nice snowman, but this winter is over."
