Zulma looked at Angeles and Gren without really understanding what was going on. I am really out of it today... Noticing her glass empty, she stood up and went behind the counter, trying to avoid looking at MacPere. "Feeling any better?" she asked, her back to him as she looked in the alcohol cabinet for something to drink.

Chuckling a bit sadly, Gren smiled wryly. "The things which bog me down aren't really things that I'd discuss openly. If it were as normal as a nightmare, I'd be thrilled...Suffice to say, it's a long story, and hardly good conversation material."

"Better? Yeah..." MacPere downed the pills with the water he'd previously used for his head in one go, shivering slightly after. "Believe me, I've had worse..."
Not that anyone can tell with you just laying there, constantly groaning like a pregnant woman~

Trust. That word was one of the few that always got to him. And he knew that the usual diversions wouldn't work on her. Might as well be up front.

She stood up and too k her hat an dput it on, "I'll leave you for now, ifever you wish to speak freely, I rather easy to find, for now I have some huntin to do," she tipped her hat then vanishe, moving faster than the human eye could see,

Zulma nodded at MacPere, although she still had her back to him. "Would you like a tea?" she offered grabbing a bottle of whiskey and staring at it for a moment. But she frowned, she was not much of a whiskey drinker, she tried to find something else.
She felt that someone left and for a second she turned and looked around, noticing quickly Gren alone at the table. She turned back to the cabinet and looked deeper, almost disappearing in it.

"If it isn't too much trouble, please~" He took down the towel and frowned at the spots of blood on it, deciding that it would be best for none to know. "Do not feed me alcohol for the next week or so."
He looks to Zulma and notices her sudden distance, raising an eyebrow to it. "Dearest, is there anything the matter?"

Gren sat for a moment, blinking at the sudden disappearance of his tablemate. it was certainly going to be interesting talking to her, now that she'd taken an interest. Comtemplating his next move, he returned to his chair to pack up his saxophone for the night. It was getting late.

"Not at all." she went for the water, having to face the room, she noticed Gren packing up. "Do you want a tea too Gren?" she called.
The young woman looked at MacPere with a sigh and strange look. "I am okay...I guess... I am sorry..." she went back for her cabinet as the water boiled.

"If you were okay, you wouldn't be acting this way, Zulma." MacPere's tone became deathly narrow and serious, gaze becoming the same. He sat up in the chair properly and folded his arms. "Zulma... You refer to me as a friend, correct? Are we close enough friends for you to be able to speak to me about what is wrong?"
