Getting annoyed with the conversation, he turned to his phone, and began his reply:
"He's not so bad as all that. XP And yes, it is...you're the first to notice, too, surprise surprise...it's kind of why I wanted a second date before then."

Zulma did not think in term of defeat or victory, she was relieved that Angeles had stopped her steps and has asked her a question, even though she was not sure she wanted to tell what happened. She looked at the vampire, for the sake of her friend, she would be honest.
She made two steps to the closest table and sat, invited Angeles with a movement of her hand to take the other seat. She spoke loud enough so that Gren and Baldur could hear too. Although it seemed that the man was busy on a phone call.
"I went to look for Baldur..." she admitted.

Angeles remained standing in her spot. Lucifer was only asleep now out of habit, not because he needed to. the moment he was awake she would leave. Baldur looked over at Zulma with concern as Angeles looked at her with confusion, "how did you go to look for him? he's from another dimension?"

His ears perked at the start of the conversation, and he flipped his phone closed at the end of his text. He'd reply to more, yes, but Zulma had his attention.

Zulma chuckled without happiness.
"Really?!" she asked sarcastically, before adding with a sigh "Indeed he is...but that's something I did not know...I figured that out only a couple of days ago..." she passed her hand in her hair, she wanted to lean against her chair but could not, it would be too painful.
"I paid for that information...I guess I should have asked you before..." she looked at the vampire who had not move from her spot. She knew that Angeles would leave, she could feel that the vampire would refuse to listen to anyone.

Angeles blinked then slowly moved to sit down in front of Zulma as Baldur sat next to her, "details," she said quietly.
((I have to go for a bit, I'll be back later tonight. Assume that Angeles is going to listen to the story and then head back up to her room))

Not finding any information yet, he allowed himself to get back to his conversation.
"Yep, clever you! Though I suppose it would have been apparent eventually...Oh, I haven't even planned which club to go to, so we'll see how that pans put.
I imagine it's pretty scary, but there's only so much you can avoid when he follows you home, right? He's asleep at the moment.
Oh, honey, I couldn't get caught in if I tried. People hate it when I keep secrets and such, but never tell me anything around here.

Zulma sighed but a soft smile came to her lips as Angeles sat in front of her.
Her hand slowly brushed Baldur's head. "I am sorry for not letting you leave your own life..." she said to the panther aloud.
She took a deep breath.
"Details? Hmmm..." She passed her hand in her hair again.
"Monday I could not hold anymore, I had to find Baldur..." she turned towards the panther. "...to find you..."
"I remembered reading something in Angeles's book about you coming from a foreign kingdom in the mountains in the far north. I did not remember the name of the mountains, so I just set course for the north. It took me two full days to reach the Cliffs of Thunder...which are majestic, beautiful and scary at the same time. A unique sight. Anyway, I was a little at lost I must admit." she paused. She was thirsty.

Standing, Gren brought her a glass of water, placing it silently on the table by her, while resuming his place out of the way.
Jumping at his phone's vibrating in his front pocket, he frowned at the text thoughtfully, grinned a bit, and replied:
"Must you? It's not that different than how I am in the Inn, just fewer breaks...
As for that magazine, you and I both know that I trust you well enough not to sleep with just anyone. Kiss, maybe, but not that...no matter how pretty he or she might be. However, I still have to get a copy of that magazine, don't I? the one with the shirt and glasses..."

"Thank you Gren. You can take a chair with us you know." she invited with a smile.
Her hand laid down from her chair to scratch the panther's fur.
"So where was I? Ah yes, the Cliffs. So on the Wednesday I reached the Cliffs and did not know what to do. The ocean seemed endless and agitated and despite walking half a day I did not find any little village or an access to the sea."
She took a sip of the water with delight.

Karasu didn't even notice Zulma had came downstairs. He looked up at her and saw Angeles and a animal sitting next to her. Both seemed to show some type of anger toward him. He shook his head and kept drinking his water til it was finished. Did she even still have his gift or did she throw it away. He thought to himself he let it get the best of him. He slammed his hand down on the bar, but he soon realize his mistake. He stood up and apologized to everyone for his out burst. "I sorry everyone...I'm sorry Zulma." He said and went to his room.

"Thanks..." he said, settling in nearby. He wanted to hear more about this...she could have left a note or something...but then he hadn't either, so who's to judge?
He watched Karasu walk upstairs with a pang of regret. The poor fellow didn't deserve half of what he was getting.

Zulma jumped at the noise of Karasu's hand slapping the counter. She had almost forgotten that he was here. She expected him to stand up and he did, to start talking and he did, to spit his heart out...and he did not. He just apologized and disappeared in the stairs.
Zulma clenched her fists in despair. She was useless and powerless. She tried to calm herself. what a mess I am... she thought.
Trying to focus on something else, she went on.
"So...I was lost and the night was coming. I found a little corner hidden from the winds and prepared a camp for the night. This is when a silhouette approached me. At first I was a little scared I must admit and then I saw that it was a little boy...alone." she paused and drank.

Gren raised an eyebrow. "A kid..? Out alone at night? He wasn't human, was he?"
Shocked at his phone's buzz, he had a look, and grinned crookedly, and warmly texted:
"After your Christmas outfit, I doubt that you could surprise them much anymore...but I'll be sure to grab one tonight.
Have fun in your meeting, hon. Miss, you, love you...and all manner of other things. xox"
Closing the phone and stowing it in his pocket, he gave his full attention to Zulma.

Zulma gave back a smile to Gren. Judging by the wide smile coming to his lips every time he looked at his phone, she had guessed who was on the other side.
"How is he doing?" she asked with a gentle smile without answering Gren's question.
