Zulma waved at Gren. Not knowing if she was glad or disappointed that he left. She looked at his figure disappearing in the door frame. He was surely an handsome fellow. She sighed and looked at MacPere, knowing that she could not escape. She prepared his tea in silence and handed it to him.
"I had...a bad dream." she said, trying to convince herself that it sounded stupid and that she was stupid to let herself drag like this. "Let's seat by the fire." She grabbed his tea and hers and sat on the rug by the fire putting their cups on the floor.
She continued as if she had not stopped. "It involved Karasu..." she paused I am sure he is not surprised! "Gren..." she added and sighed..."...and you" she looked down at her cup and drank a little. She felt like a child or a patient talking to her doctor.

"I kinda came in after everything had happened," Kageko replied, "By the time I was there, they were just playing together. While playing I felt Knight's aura, it was pretty angry, headed towards us so we all decided to sneak back to the inn," she put on a smile.

MacPere follows her over and seats with his tea. "Karasu, Gren and myself, hm?" He takes a drink and thinks for a moment, making eye contact and speaking in the same serious, yet reassuring, tone.
"What were myself, Gren and Karasu doing, my Lady?"

Zulma did not blush nor smirk although she thought about her answer several times swapping from You were all naked to You were making one to other suggestive description which were nothing of the mood and horror of her dreams. She did not know what to say, how to explain. His tone was trying to be reassuring and yet, she felt defenseless.
She tried to think about what MacPere could be imagining and her eyes widened and she flushed shaking her head, she looked at him straight in the eyes. "No...no it's not ...not what you think...not at all... you...you...you were just wearing shirts..." she stopped there, as if what she said made any sense and had reassured MacPere.

"Grrr, he saw through my pout," Kageko thought. She pondered for a while, "I really shouldn't say this w/o Star's, Zefi's, and Ultima's approval, but this guy...."
"Honestly," Kageko said with an added sigh, "do you really think that we'd be able to bring a humungous dog here and hide it from you and Knight for this long? I doubt that any of us have to stamina to do that."

He quickly took a drink from his teacup to cover the smile he found jumped to his lips at the thought of Gren that way. He really needed to sort his priorities in this.

"It wasn't me," she said honestly, "It was Zefi, Star, and Ultima. If you want to know how they managed to befriend him, go ask them."
"Plus," she thought to herself, "They'll be able to lie through this unlike me." She stood up, "I think I'll go and take a breath of fresh air," she said and headed towards the Plains.

Zulma opened her mouth and looked at MacPere. "Yes...the three of you..." she frowned a little puzzled at the question. Why did he ask that...? she was not puzzled for long and a smile appeared on her lips. MacPere had managed to bring her back a genuine smile without wanting it.
She finished her tea without a word and decided not to think further about her dream for now on. She wanted to ask question to MacPere but it was late, so she just sat on one of the chairs, not wanting to go back to her room. "I think you should get some rest my friend. We will speak tomorrow." she smiled and closed her eyes, letting the fire song try to bring peace to her mind.
She would not sleep in her bed tonight, she was too scared but at least she might not have a bad dream by staying downstairs.
