Her natural inclination was to go the route she'd gone in choosing Edmund himself. Wisely, she declined to say so, realizing such would not please Edmund at all. For herself to do more than she had before, more than reading dossiers and resumes, would be too risky.
"We can put out inquiries and I will of course review all data received, but you will have to conduct the actual interviews. It would be better for my face not to be seen, in disguise or not, until the person has signed a contract and thus a privacy agreement." She hastened to add, "Such agreement would never hold, of course, were I to truly be a fugitive, but in my case it would be legally binding."
