"Morgan or Mathew so far then? I don't suppose either of us brought pen and paper?"  

[Angel_Of_Hellfire]

Edmund patted his pockets
"I have none. Morgan or Matthew though... agreed. How about a middle name for the child?"  

[Sir_Catherine]

"Agreed unless we come up with reason otherwise. It seems rather hasty that the names came so fast."  

[Angel_Of_Hellfire]

"Chalk it up to luck. We still have to make a middle name roll well with the first name for either gender..."  

[Sir_Catherine]

Mathew Arthur Hellsing...Mathew Walter Hellsing... Her mind toyed with one center name first. She knew through experience one would become primary, Wingates in her case, and thus should be considered first. Morgan Elizabeth Hellsing...Morgan Rachel Hellsing...

"I heard somewhere a good way to try out a name is to temporarily 'name' the unborn child and to actually try out how it sounds and works for a week or so."

"How about we use either Walter or Arthur as a middle name? A nod to the two most important men in your life?"  

[Sir_Catherine]

"Do you have telepathic abilities not in your file? I do want to consider the idea. Not together though. Both Mathew Arthur Walter Hellsing and Mathew Walter Arthur Hellsing are difficult to say."  

[Angel_Of_Hellfire]

"Not... that I know of?"
Edmund shrugged
"Indeed. Both together would not work. Perhaps only one... or maybe a different set of names entirely... wait.... why two middle names?"  

[Sir_Catherine]

She chuckled, "Tradition. I was joking about the telepathy, but as a whole the matter isn't out of the question. Not so much between two humans, but more a sensitivity to those who do have the ability to communicate mentally."  

[Angel_Of_Hellfire]

"O...kay?" Edmund was still confused about the telepathic idea but continued anyway, "Tradition. This family is bloody well steeped in it, isn't it?"  

[Sir_Catherine]

"Any of the older families are. The older a family name the more tradition you'll find, generally. Hellsing isn't all that old in English history, but having played the roll we have we feel a very strong connection to the country's past and to our own. However I have no more idea than you as to why three names are a part of that."

Edmund shrugged, dismissing the discussion of tradition and names in favor of something a little more pressing;
"Should I be the one to look into a caretaker for our child, or shall we do it together?"  

[Sir_Catherine]

Her natural inclination was to go the route she'd gone in choosing Edmund himself. Wisely, she declined to say so, realizing such would not please Edmund at all. For herself to do more than she had before, more than reading dossiers and resumes, would be too risky.

"We can put out inquiries and I will of course review all data received, but you will have to conduct the actual interviews. It would be better for my face not to be seen, in disguise or not, until the person has signed a contract and thus a privacy agreement."
She hastened to add, "Such agreement would never hold, of course, were I to truly be a fugitive, but in my case it would be legally binding."

Edmund looked a mite confused for a moment or two as he processed the statements made.

"Of course," He said, nodding, then he chuckled slightly, "You know... until you just mentioned it there... I had forgotten about the whole... 'Tower Incident'... thing..."  

[Sir_Catherine]

There was a bitterness to her amused smile, but just a touch. "I sometimes go a whole week without thinking of the incident. Sometimes."
