Kageko noticed that Gren seemed to be having a headache, so she asked, "Erm.... Would you like some tea? I could try make some?"
PostPosted: Sun Jan 24, 2010 8:13 pm

He looked up, hopeful. "Yeah, I'd love some...wait, you've never made tea before?" He blinked, a bit confused, and then toseed his head a bit. "I'd be happy to be the first to try it."

Kageko assured him, "Of course I made tea before. It's just that I'm not sure if it'd taste good."
{That's not much of an assurance,} Yin thought cynically to her, she was still irritated by Kageko's decision.

A while later, Kageko came out, carrying a tray with cups, two bowls, spoons, a teapot filled with green tea flavored with jasmine, and some honey. Setting it on the table, Kageko filled each bowl and two cups with green tea. The cups were for her and Gren and the bowls were for Yin and Yang, both of whom had trouble drinking out of the steeper cups.
Letting Gren do what he wished with his tea, Kageko mixed a bit of honey into her tea. Yin and Yang came over to drink their tea.

(OOC: Sorry for the late post sweatdrop .)

"I'm sure it'll be fine, then..." He smiled, sitting to wait, scratching the sleeping cat's head between the ears.

At kageko's arrival, he took his cup gingerly, and grinned. Turning his cup twice, he sipped at the steaming brew for a moment, and smiled as the cup lef this lips. "Well done...it's blended well, and not searing hot. You're pretty considerate about temperature...Thank you, Kageko."

(It's no problem at all! 3nodding )

"Err... It's no problem," Kageko replied to Gren's praise, "It's not all that special, really." Kageko took a sip of her tea as Yin and Yang each took their turn with the honey. She looked around at the quiet inn, "Wow, it really has been quiet here," she commented, "I wonder where everyone is?" At this time, she was used to having a number of people crowding the inn; not in a bothersome way, but more of a friendly, family-like way.

"No, it's special enough...you don't cook often, after all..." He spooned in some honey himself, satiating his sweet tooth.

At her comment, he looked about a bit. "Hard to say...I'd guess that they're doing whatever it was they did before the B.O.O. and S.I.N. fight. Getting on with their lives and all..." He sipped at the tea thoughtfully. "You miss 'em?"

Kageko simply shrugged, not wanting to worry anyone, and said with a smile, "Well, they're my friends. How could I not? But if they have things that they need to take care of, then I guess it can't be helped." Gren's mention of the fight between BOO and SIN brought something else to mind, the finding of the Holidays, and their fear of... something. She still needed to get to the bottom of that mystery.

"Yeah...I miss them too." he said with a crooked smile. Headache fading somewhat, he downed the rest of his tea quietly, not a missed drop or a slurp.

He stood, patting Moonbeam, tempted to do the same to Yin and Yang, but changing his mind at the last moment. "Think I'll give it another go...you have sweet dreams, Kageko, and thanks for the tea." He smiled warmly at her before heading back to bed, mind racing a bit less than before.

(And we both get to bed at a decent hour. smile )

(OOC: Heh, I live in Pacific Time so I usually do anyways xp . Either way, good night.)

Kageko nodded and replied, "Same to you."

After Yin, Yang, and Kageko finished drinking the tea, they took the tray over to the kitchen and cleaned up. Yin and Yang were in charge of the dishes while Kageko, being the biggest, was in charge of making sure that there was no trash in the inn and that everything was put away neatly. In no time, the trio was finished and ready to leave.

Yang yawned silently, {Can't we stay here for the night?}
{I think it'll be better if we went home,} Yin replied.
{Same,} Kageko thought, agreeing with Yin.

And with a vote of 2-1 it was decided, the three were going to sleep at home. Well, Yang and Kageko were. Yin was still stuck on guard duty because Azana hadn't specified which option she would have preferred. As a result, Yin was forced to sleep in the inn.

she grumbled quietly to herself as she went up to the room that Kageko usually occupied.

((OOC: Sorry for my departure...I could have SWORN I posted before I left! Gaia ate it.))

Azana found herself with a mysterious card from a stranger she only knew by appearance, and an offer of help from Kageko involving what sounded like the transdimensional equivalent of an athame...except it was a kunai, had something to do with the Void Element, and for some reason required Kageko's pet...whatever it was to work. With all the new developments, she found herself lost in thought until...

"Azana...? Perhaps we should get to sleep as well. Since we cannot enter without Kageko's assistance, currently, there is no need to remain awake." Sosol had a hand on her shoulder and a worried look on his face. It was rare that he wasn't smiling, though the man's frown was just as calm.

"Huh? Oh, sorry...just...a lot on my mind," Azana replied, pulling out Fenyx's card for comparison. "This guy gave me this card...and I'm not even sure what it does. Magic like this isn't exactly my forte."

"We could likely ask him later," Sosol suggested, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and guiding her to her feet. "If he created them, they should carry his signature. We could trace it back for a telepathic bond. But that can be done tomorrow; you need your sleep."

"You're one to talk, making pancakes and cleaning the Inn. I won't sleep until you do!"
"And how would you enforce that...? We are, after all, in separate rooms." Sosol pointed out an obvious flaw in her logic and grinned; sure, she didn't like being proven wrong, but it was healthy now and then.
"Well, I guess I'll just have to stay with you," Azana replied with a determined smirk. "I'm making sure of this."
Sosol was glad he was behind Azana, because at that his face flushed, MacPere's suggestions of romance still spinning in his mind. "Uh...actually, I am feeling rather drowsy; I'm sure you'll have no trouble from me."
"You okay...? You backed down pretty--" Azana said, turning to find her flushed friend. "Oh, lovely...you're not getting a fever now of all times, are you...?"
"Oh! Oh, no, of course not! Just...a little warm in here. I'll have to open a door in my room," Sosol replied, only feeling more embarrassed as he escorted her to her room.
"I hope so," Azana replied with a sigh, letting it all go out of exhaustion and a bit of obliviousness, "Good night, Sosol."
"Good night, Azana," he replied, waving before walking to his room. He shook his head, fighting the embarrassment away...but still, those thoughts lingered.

How do people deal with this so easily...?

Angeles remained still within her corner of the main room. She had watched the happenings of the previous day and her thoughts were on them at present. Gren looked outright terrible, she had to wonder what was wrong. Kageko seemed fine but she could never tell with that girl. THe female SIN member looked almost giddy for reasons Angeles could not perceive. She planned on watching again today to see if she could figure anything out.

Wandering downstairs looking much better after the previous night, Gren looked about to the empty Inn, save for the obviously stagnant Angeles. He'd missed his time with her, and did want to get to know her husband better, but that didn't seem to be an option.

Retrieving his saxophone case from the upstairs, it seemed like a good day to practice. At least he'd have a forgiving audience for the flat notes.

Azana crept out of her room, walking down to Sosol's. She opened the door a crack to check if Sosol had actually gone to sleep like he promised...it looked like he tossed and turned quite a bit, but at least he was asleep. With a satisfied nod, she shut the door quietly, humming a song to herself, kind of her current theme song, as she headed downstairs.

It was soon drowned out of her head by the sound of a saxophone. She grinned; it had been too long since she heard Gren play. She arrived on the ground floor, pouring herself a mug of tea and taking a bit of time to listen to the music, remembering how silent it was where she was heading today.

I can't put that much of a burden on Kageko and her companions, she had decided late the night before, besides...I think the black one of the pair doesn't like me. There has to be another way in... But those thoughts, at least temporarily, melted away with the smooth tones of the saxophone. She could get used to all this free time...
PostPosted: Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:20 pm

Eyes closed, he felt someone enter the room, but wanted to finish the song before he addressed them. He'd been slipping in his practice, and needed to stay focused.

Blowing a few final notes to linger, he looked out and saw Azana. "Hey there...any requests, pretty lady?"

Azana chuckled, looking around in the Inn. "Who are you talking to?" She asked with a smirk, taking another long sip of the tea. "I really don't have a preference...just getting my music fix before I head out for a while. I'm scoping out a potential base of operations...but it's a little, erm, difficult to access." She grinned, even though she wasn't particularly looking forward to leaving the Inn. Still, the others wouldn't take too long to track her here, and the last thing she needed was to bring trouble to everyone's favorite hangout.

"Play whatever you feel like...I'll stay for a song or two."

((I have to run for a little bit, but I'll be back on. Promise.))
