Yeah, I think by the time most people get to the actual HSC exams they've stopped caring. Like it's just such a big effort over such a long period of time, you just want it to be over with.

I've cared. With my first assessment block in 3-4 days, I care. xD
I guess it also comes from being at NSB, as well as the fact that I'm Asian, and Asian parents are usually evil.

No you have not.

You have not gotten out there and seen what it is like to live awya from home and deal with bills for yourself as well as supporting a girl friend, who is studing, and kid, that is making everything harder.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 24, 2005 6:47 am

My philosophy; enjoy life while you have it. Sure, do the responsible things, but once you have the chance to do something, in free time, bloody well do it and enjoy it.
Hence is my position at the moment. I'm enjoying life as it is. Live for the moment. C'est la vie. That sort of thing.

I'm not too concerned with the future, I'll deal with it when it comes to me. Life is meant to be enjoyable, so enjoy.

Indeed. But even constant leisure can get boring.

You should try using punctuation. Punctuation is your friend, and it makes it easier for people to read. wink

From what I've seen, most people who study subjects they don't like won't do well in them, even if they are extremely smart. But of course there are exceptions. domokun

And DNA, you are right. We could die at any given moment, and it'd be horrible to think that your last though would be "********, I should've enjoyed life a little earlier".

Yes Anoni, that is IF we die tomorrow.
But what if we don't? If you spend your time having fun now, spending your cash and what-not, what would be the opportunity cost?

Would you be able to have as much fun in the future, as the average person would, or wouldn't you?
