Angeles sat back down, giving up. She would have her chance to talk to the man. By the things he said he sounded like a Stroker variety. That would make it a bit easier on her if she had to train him. She smiled and opened up her coat and looked down at the young girl, brushing her fingers against her cheek and getting her to smile.

Angeles shook her head, "he most likely isn't, but I'll train him if he wants. It's usually the job of the one who changed him but it seems the vampire doesn't want the responsibility."

Emily hid back under the coat and peeked back at MacPere before hiding again. Angeles chuckled and rubbed her back, "seems i will be taking care of two children now."

Azana went back to a seat, watching James tinker with something he likely had pulled from the lab with him. She leaned down and whispered into his ear, watching him slowly stop his busy work.

"You're kidding," James muttered, not comforted in the least by Azana's shaking head. "Can he even do that...?"
"Probably not alone, no...but he's in charge of some of the most talented people on Gaia. He'll probably use them."
"And you want me to stay back on this one? You're crazy."
"I need someone on the outside to give me recon data. Trust me, you may know how to build something like that...but tearing it down is a lot easier." She grinned, heading around the bar to pour herself something. "I have to say...after the initial shock, it's good to actually know what's at stake here."

Finding himself mostly alone, Remy looked around, taking in the hall. it was well-decorated, rather cozy...but kind of empty, which suited him fine. He looked to the girl who'd said hello, who was talking to a sandy-haired fellow before heading to the bar. He followed.

"Could I have one too?" he asked, motioning to the drinks.

His head perked at the noise of the new voice, the vampiress speaking to him for the first time. "I...yeah, I guess so..." he said, uneasy. He picked up the glass, quite hungry, but very unsure of this new development. "I guess I...haven't got a choice, do I?" He smiled gently at the little girl, forgetting his fangs, teeth shining pearlescent.

He looked a bit sad about the child's shyness, but agog at Angeles' revelation. "There's variants too? Geez...All I know is someone gave me a big chomp on the wrist at a party and I had fangs when I woke up...but I can't get into places without someone inviting, no. It's like wall is there..."

Gulping a bit at the prospect of his next action, he couldn't deny the smell was inviting. Steeling himself, he took a sip. Licking his top lip, he greedily drank the rest. Draining the cup, he held onto a chair nearby, arm trembling, nails digging into wood. "I...either I need more, or I've had too much already..." he muttered, startled by his new thirst.

"O-okay..." he said shakily, trying to control himself as he drank, etiquette lessons drilled firmly into his head fighting against vicious bloodlust. He managed to stop shaking by the end of the first glass, and had slowed to a normal pace by the third. Gasping a bit for breath, he coughed slightly. "Thank you...I owe you one..."

A large portal opened outside the inn. A small group of mages walked out, then Rachel and Ayase, looking annoyed, then Fenyx, looking overjoyed. "We have returned successfully. Mundus Magicus has been restored. Can we come in?"
