Serion had stood up after the initial scream and pulled out the runeblade. Serion started toward the hostile visitor. Before he got to an offensive position. The man threw the person he was holding. He went to where the person has landed. Serion created the fire form of the blade, again using his own blood. When the man came near his position Serion raised the blade and said, "This is the wrong place for you to cause problems." Serion tightened his grip. The black ridges on his body started to be covered with what looked like a web of crimson energy. The fire blade became covered with white flame.

Though she was now rendered in a position which seemed completely hopeless, her eyes were alight with excitement. She began to mutter under her breath and she could feel the dark energy gathering in her fingers. The blade was more than she had imagined. She raised her left hand slightly and snapped her fingers. Her hand burst into flame. "Excuse me sir, may I be released?" She asked with a smile though her eyes didn't leave the blade.

*looks at the fool of a man that was holding demonia, and laughs at him still blocking his only path out of the tavern* " you fool hope you know your holding a fire demon hostage." "i sugest you let her go befor you regreat it." *his smile grows bigger as he waches demonia's hands become fire* "look dude your vastly out numbered and you have no escape i sugest you just give up, before you get hurt. if you give up and leave with out the girl i will let you leave with no harm to you. i give you my word as a dragon." "but if you insist on fighting,i and all inhere will make you regreate it, and you are sure to lose a fight against a demon, dragon and a warrior." "so here is the advice leave NOW! with out the girl, and dont ever come back, or you will forfit your life!"

Damien looked down at the fire demon -if you could trust a dragon's word- and threw her against the wall. He made a stab for Phoenix, but the man with the fiery sword blocked him. But not entirely. Damien slashed at Phoenix just as she was rising, throwing her back agianst the wall and opening a wound on her chest. She screamed in pain and grabbed at her wound. Damien laughed and sprinted out into the darkness.
Phoenix looked up as Damien vanished. She sighed in relief. She looked up at her rescuers. "Thank you," she whispered. "I don't know how I can ever...." Phoenix slumpted back against the wall as her mind drove forward to protect itself. The bliss of nconsciousness took her into loving darkness.

*he shrinks back to human size and walks over to phoenix and gently places his hand over the wound on her chest as his hand starts to glow blue the wound on her chest slowly starts to heal after about 10minuts the wound on phoenix's chest is all healed. he looks at demonia and serion and nods then gently picks up phoenix and takes her in to his room and lays her on the bed to rest. then he walks to the center of his room and chants a spell on the room locking out all evil things that would come to harm the girl. so if anything tryed to get in to the room that want to cause the girl harm he would be the first to know who and what tryed to enter his room to get to her.* "there that should do it." *and he turns and walks out of his room back to the bar garding the doorway to his room.* he smiles at demonia and serion when he comes back out of the room* "thanks for the help you two." "is there anything i can get for eather of you?"

Demonia was shaking her hand trying to get the circulation to return. "No, I'm fine. You all probably don't agree with me, but that was really fun!" She smiled and sat down again, still shaking her hand. "Turn to flame completely and you come out of it with no side effects. Turn only one body part to flame, and it takes for ever to get feeling back into it. Turn your eyes into flame...well...your blind for half a day...but its worth it to see the looks on the kids faces." She laughed to herself. "Well, anyway, Serion, I'm not done interrogating you. How did you do that? I mean, turn the flame all white and stuff? I though it was just elements." Her eyes were alight with curiosity.

After the man left, Serion lowered his sword and relaxed. The sword returned to the red flame. He would have changed it back to its normal form but Demonia started questioning him and it took him mind away from the task. "For just about every form I can push more of my energy into the blade and it can surpass its normal bounds. What I just did was accelerate the fire form. And to help clarify what the runeblade is, even though it does have many elemental forms it isn't just elements." Serion pulled out of a pouch a small bit of obsidian. He touched it to the runes and the blade vanished. "In this form the blade is still there and about the same size as it normally is but the blade is undetectable."

Demonia's eyes widened. "So...more than elements, huh?...I wonder..." She tugged at a chain around her neck and pulled off a necklace with a red glowing pendant. "This is something from the demon world. Do you think it will have any effect on the blade?" She twirled the chain in between her fingers and looked at Serion. "If it does anything special, you can have it. It's a cheap rock after all. I just wear it for show. Scare people with witch craft and stuff." She grinned and handed him the pendant. "Well? Think it will do anything?"

Phoenix didn't know how long she was out, but she woke on a soft bed with the sounds of people talking in another room. She rose off the bed and looked around her. She was in a small room with the door agar. She glided as only a silent Vampire could and looked out the door. Closest to her was the Fire Demon. Phoenix smiled slightly: she would never upset her after today! The others were comodities to her. She had never seen a dragon before. The slight scent of human was only damp on the air. When the scent of her own blood hit her nose, she gasped and grabbed at her chest. There was not a blemish on her skin. She had dragons could heal, but had never thought it was true. She laughed quietly then covered her mouth so they wouldn't hear her, but too late.

*he hears her get up off the bed. but dose not move tell he hears her laugh.* "sleep well my lady?" *he looks at her a smile on his face.*
*he looks like a human innkeeper tho any one with a nose like a dog could tell just by smell that he was a dragon* *his pointed ears and sharp facel feachers mark him as an elf and the forest type look to his hair marks him as a forest elf.*

Phoeix walked out of the room and stepped next to the Dragon. "I slept well enough," she answered. "I slept better than I have in a long time. Though I don't sleep much at all. Thank you for saving me. I don't know how to repay you." Phoenix bowed slightly to her rescuers and wonderde how far away Damien was. She was thristy.

*looks at her knowing that look in her eyes* "may i get you anything to drink ma'm?" "water,wine,blood maybe?" *his own eyes start to turn a little red as he says blood* *it was'ent to long ago that he got bit by a vampier, and tho he has a craving for blood ever so often he has managed to keep from going blood crazy.* (which happens to halfbreed dragons when thay get bit by vamps, cause there beast side takes over.)
*he looks at the other two in the tavern* "hay can i get you two any thing else? drinks,food,room key maybe?"

"Room key would be nice." She smiled at the girl. "Vampire, huh? Pleased to meet you." She curtsied slightly. "I would treat you like...well...I don't know. Like these two I guess, but I have to show respect. That male...I cant remember his name...well, he's trouble. I would know. I have met him before back when I was...young and naive." She yawned and stretched. "You, being able to put up with that for any amount of time, earns respect." She managed to say through her yawn. A twinkle came to her eyes. "And don't you two put on quite a show!"

"I don't think it would have any effect on the Dergesh," Serion said, "I have found all of the forms it has and unless it can hold the living essence of a plant it wouldn't be able to help me." Serion returned the blade to its original form and sheathed it. Serion then turned to face rouge and said, "Now that you mention it, I am feeling a bit tired it would be good to get a room."

*he gets a room key for both of them* "here you are." *gives them the keys to there own rooms.* *then looks back a phoenix*
