Feronia brushed her horse Alodia, ignoring the noise around her. She loved her horse because she was fierce, no one else dared ride her. Feronia patted Alodia on the back softly and went to go and get something for them both to eat.

Rikard put Alsvin into his stall and stormed off without even untacking the horse, casting Ari a subtle glare as he passed by her. Soren felt the urge to punch him, but decided to let it go. Erik sighed as him and Soren put their horses in their stalls and started removing the saddles from them.
"Rikard has always had a hard time controlling his feelings, he'll get over it." Erik said, apologizing on Rikard's behalf.
"I'll talk to him."Soren said, as he was always the one who was best at calming Rikard down.

Ari unlatched the 3dmg from her thighs and sighed softly feeling the weight drop from her.
"It's fine." She said to Erik and Soren.
"I don't need his apology."

Feronia waked over to the dining area. The place looked pretty crowded. She walked in and grabbed a few apples quickly, quietly going unnoticed. She noticed a few of her old classmates that had also joined the scouts. They were laughing and having a good time. They were also by the front exit. She knew she wasn't gunna get out of her that easily. Feronia looked around and spotted a window. She stuffed the apples into her pockets and when it seemed like no-one was looking, she slipped out the window.

Soren cast Ari a worried look, hoping Rikard hadn't offended her too badly. Erik finished taking the saddle and bridal off his horse and walked over to Rikard's. "You two can head over to the mess hall now, I'll take care of his horse for him and catch up with you." Erik said as he happily started unstrapping the saddle.


Rikard sat alone in the mess hall, feeling foolish now that he had taken a moment to cool off. Before he became a soldier his quick temper had saved him multiple times, also the fact that he was good at fighting, so he never gave it a second thought. Discipline was not something he was good at.
Erik or Soren would probably crack a joke and blame it on his hair color, saying something like 'The redder the hair, the quicker the temper.'
He just hoped everyone could forgive him.
As Rikard sat there and sighed, out of the corner of his eye he thought he saw someone go out a window but wasn't too sure. He just shrugged it off and pretended he didn't see anything.

Ari spotted someone jump through the window but she was gone in an instant. She continued inside with Soren and grabbed lunch, she joined them and took the chair infront of Rikard. There was a sort of awkwardness that followed.
"You need to shift your weight more when riding." She commented to Rikard, taking a bite from the red apple in her hands.
"It'll help with reaching a maxium speed."

Feronia smiled as she walked away from the dining hall victorious. She loved getting away from crowds. She jogged as she went over to Alodia who was waiting for her in the stable. "I told you I would bring something back," she said to Alodia as she pulled the apple from her pocket. Alodia whinnied when Feronia gave her the apple. Feronia than jumped onto the side of the stall and sat down. As she was about to eat her apple, she noticed a few of the other horses looking at her with hungry faces. Especially one horse who was moving around frantically in its stall. Feronia couldn't help but laugh.

"I know how to ride!" Rikard started to raise his voice but caught himself, looking away as he lowered his gaze shamefully.
"Pride is the hardest pill to swallow." Soren said, staring at his coffee mug as he twirled it around. It was his nervous tick.


Erik was just about finished taking off Alsvin's bridal when the horse started moving around on him, nearly stepping on his foot.
"Alsvin, settle down! I'll make Rikard bring you a treat later too." Erik smiled, patting the horse on the neck to calm him down. It seemed to work like magic too, as if Alsvin understood his words.

Ari eyed Rikard, everyone here seems to have their quirks..
"It's fine.. Pride isn't a bad thing." She spoke to him, biting from her apple again. Her eyes wandered pass Rikard, watching Ruvik lead the few from the infirmary that were stable enough to rejoin their comrades. She counted the men silently, deducting how many should be left still in the infirmary.

She was interupted when Kara walked to her side, standing by the table.
"I'm sorry to interupt lunch.." She glanced to the men with Ari before continuing
"But some of the mens conditions have worsened.." Ari looked to Kara then.
"Infection.." Ari said grimly.. she looked away from Kara back to the apple in her hand

Feronia didn't even notice there was a human still over here. She figured they would all be at lunch. The horse seemed very well trained with its handler. She just shrugged her shoulder's and started cutting up her apple with the hunting knife she always carried with her.

"Sounds serious, are you needed again?" Soren asked Ari, still twirling his cup.


Erik slipped off the bridal and finished taking care of Rikard's horse for him.
"Good, now I'll have that apple sent to you right away, young master." Erik said jokingly, bowing to the horse before heading off to the mess hall.

Ari sighed and stood from the table.
"I'll be right there" she said, dismissing Kara. She left her lunch there, only taking the apple with her as she left the boys.

After she finished cutting up her apple, Feronia went from stall to stall giving the other horses some pieces of apple. She made sure to cut it so every horse could have some. When she got to the one horse who's partner had left, she rubbed his snout. "You're a pretty one aren't you? Alsvin," she said as the horse sniffed her body for the apple. She giggled, took out the last apple piece and gave it to him. "I can eat later," she thought to herself. Although she was hungry. She had slept in and missed breakfast and orientation. She examined Alsvin. She could tell he was a strong horse. Built for speed no doubt. She looked into his eyes. His heart told a story. Feronia hugged him gently.

Erik saw Ari leave as he got to the mess hall. He went straight to the apples instead of going to sit with his squad and took one, tossing it at Rikard as he neared the table. Rikard easily caught it in his hands and gave Erik a funny look.
"Alsvin wants an apple as payment for you ditching him." Erik said before sitting down next to Soren.
"Of course, guess I better go give it to him right away." Rikard smirked to himself before getting up to leave, grabbing a couple more on his way out.
When he was gone Soren reached across the table and pulled what was left of Rikard's food towards Erik.
"He didn't touch it." He said, but Erik only smiled and waved it away. Soren just shrugged and started to eat it himself.

Ari entered the infirmary, knowing what would most likely happen.. She checked out the first few men and her thoughts were confirmed. One man was just too far gone in the stages of infection. His body was lost in the heat of fever and his vitals have already dropped.. Ari sighed and closed the curtain around his bed, taking a seat next to him. She pulled a syringe out of the Drawer and held the mans hand. His voice was hoarse.
"I..I don't want to d..die." He shook when he talked.
"I know.. I know.." Ari smoothed his greased hair and held his hand tightly..She talked with him for awhile about all the worlds little nothings before pushing the needle into his arm, she kissed his forehead.
"Rest well soldier.."
